Honestly, I think there isn't a base per se. They're working as a cell, but the place they're going to will be deeper in the Green Mountains and is probably a prepared location for guerrillas. Stockpiled supplies. So they'll be getting of the beaten road.

It's probably not fair to call it a base. More like a hole, a place to hide. It might have a stove and some cots, but it's rugged.

I believe its something similiar to like ether or chakra or the like right?

When you make a magic character I will have you list, very specifically, all the things they can do with their magic. If you want this to be the style or difinition of the magic, as drawing upon the universe itself, thats fine but you wont have a go-all, end-all, be-all...If that makes sense?

Many of the limitations have to do with strengths and weaknesses in different channeled elements, and a knowledge of specific types of weaving. I'm not wedded to this style.

@HeySeuss Generally. A mage platoon is all mages. Sometimes mages are attached to artillery platoons if they have additional mages but not enough for a squad.

I'd much rather do an integrated platoon where a mage is part of a light infantry unit, but there's like one to two mages per section.

So this is what I am talking about, and I think as a model of high-risk, high-reward magic potentially capable of huge things, it might be good for this RP.

Signing on provisionally, but curious about how magic works. Are we going to spellcasting an incantation, or more of a raw magic approach akin to Wheel of Time?

Given the plot, I favor the Wheel of Time approach.
