Hello all. I am an experienced writer who is writing my own fiction stories on the side. I can role play any genre. What I love most is being able to go-all-out when weaving tales with other writers. It just makes the story more interesting, so I can't wait to write with you. :)

You'll have to be patient with me lol. I'm doing some study of the Terminology as well as reading through the archives. If I still mess up some things when I get a CS going, feel free to let me know what needs to be tweaked. My goal is to not make any major mistakes with it.
@yoshua171@CelairaI'm willing to give your game a shot as a Prae, if you'll have me.

The Forgotten Capital

The forest began to warp the deeper Rowen ventured into it. The trees became stark-white, glowing in a mysterious aura. If he ventured further, he would find unusual formations of reef as though he were suddenly traveling the ocean floor. The reef gave way to an open circular chamber with a pool of crystal clear water before a giant conch-shell abode. The shell appeared to be a temple of some sort and from it radiated an energy; a power that he would be able to feel but not comprehend. If he ventured further within, there were winding stairs. There were steps that ascended and descended to various ledges, but the ledges surrounded one place. In the center was an altar and it was guarded by an endless waterfall of water. The water poured enough gallons to damage a vehicle. At the center of the pillar of water was a white light: the source of the power. Being this close, it had a warm and breathtaking presence—a holy presence.

There were islands he could hop across to get closer to the altar, and if Rowen attempted to do so, he would be met at the center of the pillar by a mysterious old man who appeared from nowhere. He sat upon a green sphere and seemed harmless enough—as harmless as an old man who manifested from nothing would seem.

As for Beryl and Lapin, their exploration of the Sleeping Forest would seem fruitless. Had they been to this location before? Was that tree familiar? Had they passed the same tree five times already? There was no sign of the helicopter crash for miles, and it hadn’t crashed that far.

Old Abandoned Boarded-Up House
Somewhere in the projects of Independence City, 0135

Full of pancakes and content, Mr. Infinity stood next to the door with his wife Sharon as Chris and Mary Ann donned their backpacks in preparation for school. Mary Ann enthusiastically ran over to her mother and Sharon crouched before her. She ran her fingers through her daughter’s locks and poked her nose with her finger, receiving a smile and a giggle in response.

“You be careful dear. Stay with your brother,” she told her before kissing her cheek.

Mr. Infinity crouched next and scooped his daughter into his arms giving her a BIG hug. “Grr! I love you pumpkin.”

Mary Ann squealed before giving her father a kiss on the cheek and he returned a kiss to hers. Setting her down, Chris was next. The boy’s eyes were downcast to the floor. His hands were gripping his bookbag straps and he attempted to just walk passed his parents until Mr. Infinity slid his right leg in front of him, barring his path.

Chris sighed in exasperation. Sharon looked at her son with concern glimmering in her eyes. “Christopher, what’s wrong dear?”

Chris didn’t look at her as he irritably answered, “Nothing’s wrong. I just don’t want any kisses. Your lipstick didn’t come off last time and the other kids laughed at me.”

Sharon smiled. “I won’t kiss you then. How about a hug?”

Chris turned toward his mother and still without looking at her, he wrapped his arms around her in a quick hug before he attempted to turn and go on his way. He found a pair of polished shoes in his path and peered up a pair of legs to the suited gentleman that was his father. Mr. Infinity crouched before his son and watched as Chris’s eyes fled to the floor.

“You’re too old for that baby stuff, huh? Then look at me when I’m talking to you,” Mr. Infinity demanded.

Chris timidly looked his father in his honeyed eyes and Mr. Infinity frowned at what he saw or what he believed he suspected. “We’re gonna have a talk when you come back. Now give me a hug.”

Chris wrapped his arms about his father’s neck in a hug and Mr. Infinity returned the embrace. As Chris stepped back, Mr. Infinity rested a hand atop his son’s head and smiled.

“Have a good day at school champ and keep a big brother eye on your sister.”

Chris nodded and Mr. Infinity stood watching with Sharon as their children went on their way. He closed the apartment door and Sharon immediately snaked her arms about her husband’s neck. She rested against him, staring prettily up at his face as he smirked down at her.

“I think Chris is being bullied at school,” he shared with her his thoughts.

Sharon’s brows rose in surprise. “No? My baby?”

Mr. Infinity frowned in momentary contemplation. “I wanna follow him, but I fear that I might just embarrass him.”

“He has to learn to be brave.”

“Yeah, I guess you’re right. If I find any marks on my boy, then I’m gonna go talk to whoever’s parents.”

Sharon smirked. “Don’t scare them too bad.”

Mr. Infinity smiled. “Do I look scary?”

Sharon giggled. “If by scary you mean handsome then…”

Mr. Infinity kissed his wife and then grinned at her. “I gotta go back to work.”

Sharon was reluctant to release him. “Work? You mean reading that newspaper?”

He headed over to the kitchen table and snatched up the paper. “I got to catch up on all the news. I don’t carry a cell phone and neither does my employer—they’re traceable. All I got is this newspaper to go by.”

“Let me brew you some coffee.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

Mr. Infinity grasped the kitchen chair and slid it out before plopping in it. He spread the paper again, resuming his read. Sharon poured him a mug of hot coffee and carried it over to the table to set it next to him. She then returned to the kitchen to begin washing dishes.

Mr. Infinity set down the newspaper to pick up his coffee. He gave the black liquid a tender sip as he stared at a report that was mysteriously appearing on the page he had been browsing. It was a fresh witness report to the police. Death Row. Turf war. Wounded. There wasn’t much details. Usually when gangs fought each other, no one got involved. If they wanted to kill each other then so be it. Mr. Infinity sighed and closed his eyes as he cradled the warm mug in his hands.

Sharon overheard him. “What’s wrong, dear?”

“There’s a turf war in Death Row.”

“You’re not going to get involved in that are you?”

“I may just actually standby to make sure innocents aren’t caught in the fire.”

Sharon smiled to herself while she scrubbed circles on a dish. “Is that all you plan to do?”

Mr. Infinity opened his eyes and stared across the table at nothing. “I guess. Hopefully one thing doesn’t lead to another.”

“And if it does?”

“Then I might be out longer than intended.”

“Don’t the Saints have enough helpers? Can’t you just come back early?”

“I can try.”

Sharon uttered a sultry laugh behind her smile. “I’ll be waiting.”

Mr. Infinity’s brow slowly rose as a naughty smile stretched across his face. He scooted his chair back and rose to his feet. “I’ll make this quick.”

He left the kitchen into the living room and approached a sword mounted on the wall over the fireplace. Mounted above it was a simple black pistol. Grasping the pistol first, Mr. Infinity pulled back on the slide to put a round in the chamber before he tucked the weapon away inside a shoulder harness beneath his coat. He then grabbed the red katana, slid it open a little to inspect the blade that immediately combust. The orange flames danced across its lustrous steel. Closing it, Mr. Infinity returned to the kitchen and stepped up behind Sharon. He slid his arm across her waist, holding her close as he kissed her neck.

“I’ll (kiss) be back (kiss)” he told her.

Sharon moaned softly and reached a hand back to cup her husband’s jaw. “Hurry.”

Stepping away from her, leaving such a lovely woman standing there alone made him ache on the inside. As much as he just wanted to whisk her off her feet and steal her into their bedroom, he knew that skipping out on a potential duty wouldn’t have settled well with the Saints. Mr. Infinity turned his back on her before he submitted to the temptation. He snatched up his coffee mug on the way out.

Death Row
Roof Top, 0215

Mr. Infinity was standing before the ledge of a building adjacent to the apartment. His coffee had cooled, which made it easier to drink. He had no intention to get involved with whatever the firefight was over at least not before the other Saints arrived. He hoped that they deemed the situation not their problem (mostly so he could return to Sharon for some kinky time but that was a selfish wish).

@Member 00492Monitor Duty. Vadim is going to be bored as fuck. I think the other characters would have to be the "hijinks" type because he sure isn't.
I'll move Bone Village along tomorrow.
I was writing a post for Mr. Infinity but my internet dropped. I'll see if it returns tomorrow and post him in Death Row.
@Obito KashiWorst case scenario, you can always post to the current IC situation.
@RennyYou won't get a GM post from me for a while. Everyone voted on two rounds to post before I post.

Claudio is a 6’0”, 205 lbs man with short crimson feathered hair and silver eyes. He often wears a suit as most members of Libra do—his being black with a white undershirt and red tie. He carries in his pockets black gloves that he only dons when he plans to go to town on someone. The gloves not only protect his hands from the brunt of his punches but are custom-made with thin wire vents at the pads of his fingers, which allow him to draw his own blood in situations where he needs to use his blood techniques. When Claudio isn’t wearing his gloves, he uses a gold thumb ring with a tiny pin protruding from it to pierce any one of his fingers that he chooses. His right ear lobe has a silver cross-shaped stud in it.

Underneath Claudio’s work getup is the body of a martial artist. Solid-hard muscle conditioned from all the battles he’s been in. Across his back is a red and black tribal tattoo designed like angel wings unfurled to the ends of his shoulders.

Narcissist Tough Genius Researcher Scientist Sassy
There are social rules specifically created for anyone who plans to approach Claudio. Rule 1: Do not ever ask about his Ph.D. Claudio loves talking about his Ph.D. He even uses it as a weapon to try and make others feel stupid and beneath him—including his enemies. It’s just a damn Ph.D. and most of the Libra members don’t care that he has one, but again, just don’t ask about it. Rule 2: Do not stroke his already inflated ego. It is the quickest way to become pals with him but you’re contributing to a problem and you’re not making it better. Rule 3: If you ever need to ask for his research expertise on a case, then you will have to bring an offering. I know right? We’re all supposed to be on the same team, but Claudio thinks he’s special. Universities would often have to pay him thousands of dollars to be a guest speaker and Libra wants his input for free? Ha! Claudio’s favorite food is a Margherita Pizza. Not just any pizza. A Margherita Pizza specifically. His favorite drink is a sweet red wine Beyondian blend called The Devil’s Nosebleed. The name is hardly attractive but the drink is super sweet and will fuck you up. If you can’t find the pizza or the wine, then throwing your dignity into the dirt and prostrating yourself before him is your only other option.

Claudio does/doesn’t like getting his hands dirty, thus the real reason why he wears gloves. Why does/doesn’t he? Because he always acts like he didn’t want to fight initially, but deep-down, he loves fighting. It’s how he releases stress. Stupid people annoy him (which stupid people by his definition is anyone who doesn’t have a Ph.D.), so he likes to vent his pent-up anger and frustration by driving his fists into the kidneys of his enemies. Being out on a mission is better than being stuck in a dark windowless lab, working on some new project for Libra.

Claudio was born to Fabrizio and Isadora Hyde in a suburban town outside Venice, Italy. He grew up with little electronic influences and spent most of his time outside enjoying nature or in a book. The Hydes were a wealthy family with both of his parents being doctors (which probably contributed to why he’s so proud of his doctorate later in his life). While they were both surgeons, Claudio went down the pathology route. Diseases always fascinated him, and there was an entire world out there full of diseases with no cure, some unique, and some yet to be discovered. It might have been a morbid fascination for a child, but there were many times where he was allowed to visit his parent’s hospital. With them both being busy, they couldn’t always find a babysitter to watch him and so they had nurses take care of him. Claudio was able to learn a lot about diseases then. To a person who probably wasn’t as studious as Claudio, his life was pretty simple and uneventful. With the world descending further and further into technology, he had little competition in school. He even felt that he was smarter than his own teachers at times.

At sixteen-years-old, Claudio finished high school a grade before his peers, having continued his classes in summer school out of desperation to graduate early and get away from them. He earned a scholarship to study in America at the John Hopkins School of Medicine. It was there where he pursued a bachelor’s in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Masters of Science in Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Claudio created a mini nanosubmarine called the Nautilus that doctors were able to use to not only locate plaque in a person’s arteries but destroy it. The Nautilus could also perform various extractions of polyps and tumors without the need of invasive surgery.

After the events of the Beyond opening over New York, New Jerusalem was facing a crisis. They needed doctors and several of Earth’s doctors were uncomfortable with moving to such a chaotic and alien realm. Claudio saw it as an opportunity to study diseases he had never seen or learned about. He moved to New Jerusalem and the level of nightmares, crime, and disorder should have driven a sane man such as himself insane. While not all the Beyondians were terrible, there were still too many who were feeding on humans and taking advantage of their weaknesses. Claudio was actually captured by a gang of Beyondians known as the Boro Boro, and taken advantage of. They were using him to develop a drug that they could use to augment their strength. Well, seeing as each gang member was a unique species of creature he had never studied before, Claudio bullshitted a machine that actually turned out to be a tanning bed to trick the idiots into thinking they were being imbued with radiation (like the Incredible Hulk). While, the machine significantly worked on one of the Boro Boro members who happened to be plant-like, it didn’t save the gang from their first encounter with Libra. Claudio was saved by Libra, and impressed by his ingenuity, they invited him to join the organization.

Libra gave Claudio a lab where he can experiment to his heart’s desire, and also taught him how to defend himself, showing him the secrets of blood magic.

None

Passive

  • Genius-level Intellect Regardless how arrogant Claudio seems, his intelligence cannot be ignored or go unused. He is a valuable resource to Libra. Unfortunately, everyone just has to put up with him.
  • High Pain Tolerance He experiments on himself and even uses his blood techniques on himself. As long as he's conscious in some shape or form, Claudio will continue to make a stand.

Active

Acupuncture Claudio manipulates his blood into thin needles and uses them to pierce his body, augmenting his physical abilities to superhuman levels. If he takes severe damage to a limb or specific area of his body, he can use his technique to numb and stabilize himself to keep fighting on. He is capable of using these same techniques on others, but has yet to be seen doing such. All of his techniques are spoken in Italian.
  • “Arms of Atlas” – Claudio uses his acupuncture on his upper body augmenting his strength to superhuman levels. With this technique, Claudio is capable of lifting 2 tons.
  • “Legs of Mercury” – Claudio uses his acupuncture on his lower body augmenting the strength and speed of his legs to superhuman levels. With this technique, Claudio is capable of lifting 2 tons and running up to 60 mph.
  • “Comfortably Numb” – Claudio uses his acupuncture to numb or stabilize organs or nerves in the body. He can numb parts of his body suffering damage to allow him to continue fighting. This does not heal or reverse the affliction.
  • “Weaken” – Claudio uses his blood as needles that he will stab into pressure points in the body, causing a loss of muscle control or paralysis. He mostly uses this to capture enemies or ground those enemies who are more than likely to flee and resist.
  • “The Monster in Me” – Claudio uses his acupuncture on himself, hitting special points on his body that unlock a part of his humanity that is meant to be kept hidden. This technique has only been seen once by veteran members of Libra. He only uses it in dire emergencies. And you wonder why his name is Mr. Hyde…
