I have one, and it relates to the tired old "friends to lovers" trope. Not saying friends can't become lovers, but being friends first is a terrible dating strategy! A one-way ticket to the friend zone.

To be clear, women don't put us in the friend zone. We put ourselves there by being passively pleasing pushovers.

Jokes aside, welcome to my character thread. :D I'll be posting all my character bios on this page and will update it with new characters and changes to the template and the options available. As of my creation of this thread, it'll include the characters I've created for original, slice-of-life roleplaying games. They're all guys who have unique, distinct personalities and ways of dealing with things, and are looking to find a girlfriend who will make their lives better. For fun's sake, I'll arrange them by Hippocrates' four-temperament classification. Without further ado, the gentlemen! In-canon, they're all friends and hang out at a common bar. Despite their unique experiences and personalities, they are all dashing gentlemen who have the courage to take the set the tone and take the lead, making your ladies feel secure and loved!​

His busy studying schedule hasn't allowed him to have more than a few relationships and a few one-night stands. But now that it's over, he's more willing to engage in active dating. His main challenge is learning how to let good things (and great women) happen without being overly emotionally attached to a specific outcome (i.e. marrying with kids).​

This, coupled with the fact that everyone else seemed to catch all the breaks when it came to love and sex, led to frustration, feelings of inadequacy and even resentment towards women. He also became addicted to pornography, seeing it as an easy escape from the seemingly impossible dating scene, while his studies suffered. He was saved from this by Randy and Frank, who became his first genuine friends and opening the way to becoming a better man.​

He was chasing hot women for validation, instead of looking for women who had the best odds to make his life happier. Once dating, as well as life, stopped being a battle of egos, everything became easier and more enjoyable for him. While he still has a fierce temper, he's become more forgiving and kindly in later years.​

I'm Hope Lover, a male in his late 20s looking for fun, romantic, sensual roleplaying experiences in slice-of-life games. What I'm expecting is someone who is fun, serentipitous and flexible with their characters, as I'm offering the same. Now, things in this thread may change over time, but generally speaking, I have a set list of requirements that I adhere to. One thing that I can't live without is character development: let's not be afraid of exploring different possible outcomes with relationships between our characters. So, without further ado...

• I want to be clear: I'm not looking for a super-long, detailed novella style of writing, but I do expect someone who can write 2-3 paragraphs that tell what a character is doing, how they're feeling and how they're emoting. I also want someone who's fluent in English!​
• I prefer having a lighthearted tone to my games; even if times of trouble arise, I would prefer that they weren't the main subject of the story.​
• My preferred genre is slice-of-life, but I am open to alternatives if I have a level of interest in them.​
• I generally prefer original games over fandom games, but I am open to fandoms depending on whether I'm privy to them or interested in them.
• As far as my list of kinks and limits goes, you can read it right here. But in short, I'm a fairly vanilla ERP-er and don't do anything crazy. So, if you're looking for something more extreme, I might be a bad match for you.
• I have a list of characters that I use in modern SOL games, so give them a visit and see if they spark your interest! I can design a different character, but I really like playing those four.
• Both plot and smut are fine, but not to the detriment of one another!
• Let's have fun!
