'Not all those who wander are lost' . . . and, to be frank, if they were most of them wouldn't admit it anyway ;)

Yo @McHaggis! Long time no see!

Okay, so, before I even hopped on over to the OOC I had an idea. However, I see there are already characters from Arthurian legend and wondered if it would still be okay to do Guinevere? Because the backstory I was planning on had her and Merlin on highly uncertain terms and I wasn't certain if that would tamper with someone else's character . . .
What could be better than a whole wack-load of fairy-tale characters! :D Just popped on over from the interest thread and wondered if there's room for one more?
Thank you @tex, that answers my question perfectly.
Would things such as arms dealers/black market rings/etc be plausible in this setting?
Is there a set time when you are not taking any more characters?

I am very interested and would like to join, but this coming week is going to be crazy and I want to make certain, once things settle back down, that I will have the time to commit to this.
Ahhh, that helps even more, thank you @tex @Hatman1801

And then the Alchemy you mentioned briefly in the opening description would be creating similar effects to Ki or Arcane, except through the use of potions and the like?
Thank you for the detailed explanation (and the super mega simple one as well:) I think I might understand it a bit better.

So basically a person focusing on Arcane magic can use the energy all around them for their purposes as needed, whereas those focusing on Ki use the energy within themselves . . . right?
I feel somewhat invested after making it through all of that information :D

I am not terribly familiar with all of it, however, and was wondering if someone would mind telling me the main differences between Arcane and Ki? It seems to me that they are basically the same thing, but applied and manipulated differently, so I don't think I'm interpreting it correctly.
@RabidAnubis Thanks for the update, hope I'm still around if/when you start it back up. :)
@RabidAnubis Yep, tends to be a habit. Sharing isn't a strength of hers - cookies, secrets, toothpaste, undead, you know, little things like that that ;)
