@TheWindelOh...well I didn't notice that. Then again I'm new here and mainly read through the big conflicts upon joining. The intermission Zak came in on wasn't very long seemingly. It just seemed to me like you guys were trying to roll from one conflict into another without much downtime and wanted to avoid interaction that wasn't relating to war. With the fight on Archadia rolling into the attack on heaven, it didn't seem like there would be much down time. Plus I got the impression that you guys weren't open to events created by us the role players such as faction specific gatherings.

In hindsight it may have been confused with the fact that you guys very strictly do not want anything peaceful on a cross faction basis...which I'm totally fine with.

@Inner Demon I mean, we don't want characters from different factions to intermingle needlessly. I guess that it got lost somewhere in the middle of the way between the OP and now, but the War of the Triumvirate is supposed to be a conflict that is older than almost anyone can remember. The reasons why the War began are meaningless. All that everyone know is War for War's sake. We never lied about this to anyone, that's why I find the total hate so many characters have for the War to be so apaling. One or two deluded pacofists is a thing but more than that feels strange.

@KoLOh I never meant to have any cross faction meet ups. I literally meant just the angels. That said, having faction specific gatherings in between bouts might help raise moral for the characters and make ceaseless eternal war more bearable. Even in Valhalla where they die to fight to die to fight, they pause on occasion for feasts. But I'm more or less done on the issue. If the GMs are against something, then it doesn't get in. No matter how well it's proposed.
@TheWindelSorry I guess my request got a little blurred. Nevermind.
@TheWindelNot a soccer club. Just a brief intermission. Every war needs down periods. Even if those down periods are just a few hours or days. Just because it's war time doesn't mean war is going on 24/7 all the time always. I mean it's only a suggestion. After all aren't we all here to enrich this interesting story with our character's personalities?
@TheWindelOkay...so no fights in random human cities. But angels would have a victory party here or there right?
@TheWindelAnd yet there are still lands like Archadia that were previously untouched by war. Even then, where are humans raised? Couldn't they have any cities scattered among the nexus on some random floating continents since humans have the nature to expand?
@Flamelord@TheWindelWhy can't one of the realms in the nexus have an active civilization? It would be interesting to wage a more subtle confrontation among a setting filled with buildings and civilians. The civilization itself could be themed after ancient, modern, or futuristic styles considering there are those aspects among many of the characters anyway. Maybe even a combination of ancient/futuristic or steampunk. (Like Zuan from league of legends.) A fight where we leave out the bigger Grafdakka/Zereul sized characters in place of the humanoids and assassins. Or just save them for later on in the fight when/if demolishing cities becomes a thing.
And when I say bar, I mean one that DOESN'T sell mysterious blue devil alcohol from hell.
@TheWindelI was thinking something more along the lines of a celebration of some kind somewhere down the line or dinner or a party or something that doesn't immediately start with chaos. Not saying it can't end in fighting but...It would be nice to see a bar in one of these dungeons, mystical islands, or ancient ruins. Jus sayin.
