Background: Ryu was the first child of her family to be born in the United States, making her a first-generation American. Her imagination and drive have been strong since the moment she could talk and that made her a handful for her parents. Her father was a prominent businessman whose wealth afforded Ryu everything that she could ever need while her Mother worked at home to take care of her.
