Chris let out a small laugh from her reaction. "Cheating? All I did was answer." He said, his voice full of joy. He looked at her as she sat next to him and smiled softly. He adjusted the red scarf he had wrapped around his neck and looked around, noticing he was the only one wearing a scarf. Chris kicked a small rock in front of him before turning his attention back to Bao. Bao dressed pretty nice in Chris' eyes. He doesn't think he'd be able to pull her look off.

Chris shrugged. "Oh...I don't need a treat. You're my treat." He said, laughing after he thought about how his sentence sounded. He turned a bright red and looked down at the ground.

War Never Changes

Name: Jake Prescott

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Bio: Jake was a police officer before all of this. He was just an officer, but he was pretty good at his job. As the war came to the US, his unit was shut down after martial law was in effect. He then moved to Berkeley, California in an attempt to be safe. This would fail as the bombs fell. California was the second most guarded state beside New York. Washington D.C. was completely, if not already, isolated. The bombs took him by surprise.

Jake was home when the bombs hit, and he rushed to the evacuation site. He was too late. The bomb hit in Los Angeles, the same area that the evacuation. Jake was only a few miles away, the shock wave of the blast reaching him. His car was tossed and he blacked out from the impact. Jake would wake up hours later to see everything destroyed. Jake now wanders around in search of survival and a new life in this barren and fallen world.

Personality: Jake is vocal and will voice his opinion. He can collaborate with ease and can compromise if he sees an opinion worth listening too. When it comes to disagreements, he is rather polite. He makes sure everyone is heard and can get a bit irritated when someone cuts him off when he's talking.

When it comes to serious situations, Jake is a fast thinker. He can improvise and devise plans almost instantly. He is able to work quickly and efficiently, never stopping when he knows he'll lose. Jake fights to the end no matter what and will never quit.

Being a police officer, he has a protective side of him. If he feels someone is being mistreated, he will step in and deal with the conflict. He is unable to just let criminal acts go unnoticed. However, in this new society and way of life, he has no problem stealing to survive, although he does feel guilty if he thinks about it too much.

Gear: What you travel with. I'd like it to be set up like this:
-Weapon 1:
Jake carries an M4A1 Carbine Rifle as his main weapon. He relies on this for quick kills. Being a police officer, his knowledge about this rifle is definitely a plus.

-Weapon 2:
Jake's secondary weapon is a baseball bat modified with industrial nails. This is used for messier, slower, but quieter kills as well as when he's put of ammo for his first weapon.

-Clothing: Jake wears simple clothing, a blue dress shirt with black jeans. He wears black and white Converse brand shoes along with a black and white New York Yankees hat.

-Items:

• Police flashlight
• 3 M4A1 5.56x45mm NATO round magazines
• Water canteen
• Gas mask
• Hiking backpack
• Flint and steel

Role: Jake is a wasteland survivor. He travels around to collect food, supplies, and other essentials to stay alive. He does sometimes look for fellow survivors that don't try to kill him, but that's rare.

War Never Changes

Intro

A flame flickered on the candle, barely producing any light in the dark room. A group of four men stood around the candle. One man peeked outside the window and smirked.

"I see some scavengers, boys." The man said. Another man looked at him and nodded. The other two men stood up and grabbed their gear; each carrying a gun, a hiking backpack, flashlights, and other essentials to protect and aid themselves. They left the room in the building they were in and crept out a boarded hole in the wall. They all quietly moved to where the scavengers were and executed them.

"Good job, boys." One of them said. The soldiers stared at the dead corpses and celebrated quietly.

These men weren't survivors. They were hired soldiers of wealthy people in this destroyed world. They killed for both fun and money, not stopping for anything. These guys are hated by actual survivors, people looking for a way to stay alive in this war-torn world. Most people don't even know who to trust anymore.

Backstory

America has run low on oil supply, eventually forcing people to move out of homes that are built over any area that has oil underground. Soon they would be forced to invade Venezuela and Saudi Arabia, sparking a major world war. As tensions and war grew, oil ran out worldwide. As countries were struggling to provide and find oil, every country was for themselves. America would be invaded on May 2, 2022, sparking the largest and longest battle in history.

As America withdrew soldiers worldwide, their strength would be greater than any other country. America defended itself gloriously for years, eventually looking like the world's greatest power. This was until everyone turned on America. Russia decided enough was enough and deployed its new prototype bomb, the RP2W bomb (short for Russia Prototype 2 War bomb). This bomb would easily decimate large areas, and Russia launched a lot these bombs in highly populated areas. The top three were Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Dallas. With America crippled, they were forced to do one thing: bomb every country. And so they did, eventually causing worldwide mutual assured destruction (MAD). Thankfully, these bombs were never nuclear.

As no one took the victory in this war, all governments failed due to riots, protests, shortages of food and water, and other factors. This new apocalyptic earth was unsafe and is viewed as the end. But brave souls that are willing to survive this world still roam the earth. A small group of "soldiers" have teamed up and created an assassin/mercenary group that kills for money. They call themselves "The Blood Army" and refer to themselves as the new government, even setting up presidents, senate, and other forms of government.

Rules

1) You can be ANYTHING you want to be (as in survivor, Blood Army member, scavenger, lone wolf, etc.), but if I feel as if your position is unfair/has a god-modded feel, I WILL reject it.
2) Do not kill a member's character without permission (PM the member or talk about it in OOC)
3) No god-modding (Obviously) in any way, shape, or form. If I see you GMod, I'll give you only one warning. Repeat offenders will be removed.

I will add more rules later. (This is my first roleplay I'm creating, so I'm not sure what rules and regulations to input)

Name: Alexander Devereux (Cal-Vail-E-Us Dev-Er-Oh)

Race: Human

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Personality: Alexander is a very confident young man. He's humble as well, never bragging like most warriors. He doesn't speak to many people about his battles, never really being asked in the first place. Alexander can seem like he's too good for people when really he tends to keep to himself. He's not a fan of social gatherings or royal banquets.

Bio: Alexander was born into a small, wealthy family in Escudo. His father was a knight and he later would be killed in combat when Alexander was a young 12 year old boy. Heartbroken, Alexander vowed to follow in his father's footsteps and be just as great as he was. This idea fell short when he was 16 as he realized he would rather be a warrior. This was because of the death he'd heard about. Alexander began training under his mentor, his uncle, when he was 18. He was far more advanced than he thought, easily performing attacks that would take weeks of training. After he was about 20 years old, he was done with training. He set out to be in Escudo's military. Alexander served 2 years in Escudo's military as a high-class warrior. He got tired of doing the boring tasks of rescuing people, taking out bandit camps, and guarding buildings. Alexander would leave and become a mercenary for hire when possible and an adventurer when he's not a mercenary.

Weapons:

Custom made two-handed long sword.

Equipment:




Plated, steel armor. Chest plate, thigh plates, gauntlets, and boots. No helmet.

Special Skills:
-Alexander is an amazing swordsman. He is not the best, however.
-Alexander knows very simple magic attacks
-Alexander knows his way around bows
-Alexander is really intelligent. He's an excellent mathematician.
