Section #1: Jig Being Right

It has come to my attention, that I am primarily right and drunk.

Jig is completely right.

Jig is right.

[11.01.50] Gowi:

Jig is right. Feel free to send that along.

[Jig is] 100% correct.

Jig was right 8 months ago, and is still right.

I love you, Jig. It's because you're Always Right™.

Once again, Jig is absolutely right about this.

Where is Jig when I need to vent about politics?
Drunk.

The mighty Jig is of course right.

Section #2: Jig's RP's

I'm not post-dating RP's I've been in that died out of nowhere and I've basically forgotten about, so here are my present ones.

At the same time the Novogrod held secret talks with Jodesian leadership and formed a military pact.

About? What sort of pact? In my history, Jodesia is s a sub-power with limited history at this point.

Feeling the push of the then rich and highly developed Jodesia.

At this point, I've not accounted for Joedia being either hugely rich or particularly well-developed. From my perspective, Jodesia's involvement in a Great War is opportunistic or duty-bound.

NAU would support both Jodesia and Franco-Iberia and make a good dollar out of it.

Definitely encourage this line of thought.

Given the fact the main point of contention is the treatment of abhumans
7

My recent iteration of Jodedia pretty much doesn't factor abhumans in; but there's definitely wiggle-room for allowing their participation of scapegoats in a forthcoming Jodesian holocaust scenario

Eventually Jodesia capitulates and loses a sizable portion of its territories to Franco-Iberia.

I've been pitching Jodesia as a newly-formed International nation whose colonies are new: while there's wiggle-room for Hungary/Franco-Iberia to encroach Westwards or Northwards respectively, I'd like to work out the actual territory changes and such. It might be neater for Jodesia to have its single (profitable) African colony to be removed from it, under the mutual stewardship of Franco-Iberia and the Hungarian League.

Meanwhile the Hungarian League takes the remaining East European nations

While I've not accounted for that, that's absolutely workable from my perspective.

Don't wanna be a negative nelly, and I'm smashed, but I've had a good go at your post with time and thinking, and those are my reactions. Nothing you've suggested is unworkable, but some of it requires working, you get me?
This post is rated D for drunk. I've tried to read what's going on and am super-excited that Jodesia is potentially the bad-boy of Neurope, but ideas like non-human species are beyond me atm. Will address once capable to do so. In my head, wading into the Great War was just opportunism for expansion while it was bigger nations' business, but I'm happy to adjust to what others have written (once I can actually read it). Back to the cider x
This is running at typical WM speeds, so I don't check in super-often. If anything super-important (apart from kittyluna; hai) should happen, ding me to make sure I don't miss it?
Er, climate change would so greatly affect vegetative life cycles that the ensuing stress would result in massive species die-off that itself would lead to widespread desertification, especially in areas bordering the already volatile Gobi. In addition, glacial melting, especially in the northernmost extremes of the Atlantic, would introduce enough freshwater to diluting the surrounding area's seawater to a point where there would be no water dense enough to sink underneath the surface brine and continue forcing warm water from the south to replace shifted currents, thereby eliminating the possibility of warm surface winds meant to prevent Europe from reaching ice-agetemperatures...

Can we file this under 'science as plot demands' and basically involve crazy climates/weird weather as we see fit? I can see us getting bogged down in another WMD dispute (maybe they coulds/maybe they couldn'ts) if we overthink this one.
@Willy Vereb Maybe the Great War started at 1502 and lasted until 1509? The war would be within living memory.

I'd really like it within living memory. I've been working to a 'within the past two decades' timeframe to allow the political developments (within my nation) since then to have been more recent.
Le me, having a look at potential relationships:

@Monkeypants Popped up a bit of nonsense in my relationships tab already, based on what we have. Pretty sure it's fine, but do double-check. :)

@Brink_@Willy Vereb We're located in the same part of the world and both have a fair amount of history (although mine is basically all Restoration). Will kinda depend on the outcome of the Great War and the degree to which one of you might like to have fucked Jodesia over.

@Inkdrop You're a total gateway to my shores, so I like to think we'd have a friendly relationship. Perhaps Jodesia and the King's Islands have some history of invasion/being invaded in a way that is totally cool and resolved now and not relevant to our modern-day countries, just for flavour?

@Isotope Your culture and history section doesn't give me too much to work with :P. I'm guessing because you're on the West Coast and not-terribly close to me, we won't have much to do with each other.

@Sigma I wonder if a certain amount of warlords hide out/get their equipment via the Westerijk? Otherwise, you're land-locked and too far away, I think, for direct interaction.

@Nerevarine You seem pretty far away for us to have much to do with each other, unless you have any bright ideas?

@Taeryn Quite far away, although potential trade with the Westerijk might still be an option for you, depending on how queasy the UHSR would feel about dealing with proto-fascists :P
We're almost there people! :) IC is almost finished.

Oh sweet holy jesus I'm both excited and not remotely ready. Then again, I wanna observe how NRPs work a little bit before making any moves of my own, so maybe that's just as well. :D
Wait.. So after the great cataclysmic war at year 0, there's another war that's happened???

Yeah, seemingly between the Hungarian League, Franco-Iberia, and, hopefully, me. I can't really find any details for it either, apart from references. I think that's what we're working out now.

Sorry for double-post, but everybody posts so damn quickly I always get ninjad.
@Jig Hmmm, perhaps you'd like to share a bit of the isolated Nile Delta? Or should we be calling it Nile Island? It could've been orinally yours, now only a small portion remains for your faction.

I'd be more than happy to have formerly held it as a colony and then had it removed from me after a botched wade-in on the Great War if that works for the other guys (would give me my political embarrassment, definitely), but I don't have to have. That would neatly prevent my actual turf being divided up and having to think about awkward land-borders with former Jodesian territory.
@Willy Vereb @Brink_
I'm looking to have lost a chunk of territory to either of you during the Great War, so that Jodesia can have a great sense of loss and glory days to harken back to. I'm basically going to suggest that I got myself involved in something I wasn't prepared to deal with, and the result was an embarrassing treaty in which I was forced to hand over either a Western territory to the Hungarian League or a Southern Territory to Franco-Iberia. Either of you want in? (Obviously the current map will reflect territories as they are; we're just talking history here)
And the Great War was a couple of decades ago, ie: 1500-1510ish by the restoration calendar, right?

Probably only want one of you to have pinched my land, just so I don't have to bear a grudge against both of you :P
