I don't know any of those characters. I'm so behind O.O

@Champion

@Crimson Lion Another good example.

@jynmi88 How many characters are we allowed?

Just one for now.
Oh okay. So it's more like inexperience?
Well other than that he looks good to go. Approved.
@Champion
How is he a strategist if he has no battle sense?
@Champion

That actually may be even better. A young savaris among a group of geniuses, being pushed to exceed his limits to keep up with his rivals. Sounds amazing.

Well if you're okay with your character having a slower rate of progression then the rest then we can do that.
Just add that to the back story, and put that he lacks the prodigy gene in the strengths/ weakness section. Then let me know so I can review it.

-How do you guys feel about a discord for this rp?
-Is there a particular day you guys would like to start this

Well, there's that and many other prominent members were able to acquire seats without a need for shikai. Kenpachi himself didn't realize his until the end of the series. The special forces don't use their zanpakuto majority of the time. Neither does the Kido Corps. I'm not trying to be a Kenpachi or anything I just believe it would be more worthwhile to discover it IC.

As far as a technical reason for graduating, he is a member of a powerful clan. Cant we just say some strings were pulled?

Actually, there's many prominent members who've we've never seen use a shikai. Which doesn't necessarily mean they graduated without one.
I'm not sure if Kenpachi counts, because even though it's true he didn't have his shikai till the end of the series. He got where he was by defeating the previous squad eleven captain in combat. He never went to the shinigami academy.

Hmmm. The only way I can see that done in this rp, was if Savaris didn't have a prodigy gene activated, and his family became interested in the new squad and pulled strings to have him join after they finished classes?

Long story short, he can't hear it when it tries to speak to him. He's never been in a serious fight and he's a slacker, kind of a womanizer, a little bit of a drunkard but his Zanpakuto is the complete opposite. Serious and honorable. Even tho it still tries he is too blinded to hear it. Besides the personality conflicts he has with his Zanpakuto, there's also the fact that it's a straight up long sword, he has no sword skill at all so he barely uses her and prefers to stick to hakudo. Although now that I think about it, I should probably add the appearance in.

For the most part I do like the character, and the reasons are understandable. The only issue I can think of is the fact everyone was drafted into the shinigami academy and were able to graduate. Which I"m not sure would happen if he wasn't at least able to use his Shikai. I'll have to think of this.

Edit

Although, one way around it is that he lost his zanpakuto at some point, and just never got around to trying to find it as his fighting styles worked fine without it?
@Crimson Lion
"Hmmm?" The old man coughed while Rainer was doing his legs. "Ugh! Erggy." He sputtered, trying to force whatever it was in the back of his throat out, but he couldn't. It was in too deep so he settled for swallowing it whole. "Ahh." He shivered with the action. It was difficult to tell if he found pleasure or revulsion from the lump.

"Plmt plmp." He smacked his dry lips, and looked around. The room was as he had left it, an engine room with an engine that wasn't on fire. Which was a plus. "Hmmm?" His head tilted to the side as he came to understand that there was something different now. He looked to his left, which still had a door, and he looked to his right which didn't. The engine was in front of him, and he didn't feel any ocean breezes so there was still a wall behind him. "What's it now?" He mumbled, and tried to get up. He couldn't, and it wasn't because of his back or legs this time. Which would've been a plus had the reason been anything else but knots keeping him down with a strange, covered man doing his feet.

"What's this now?" He croaked. His voice was dusty and it seemed out of character for a stray moth to not float out of his mouth, rushing for dear life to get as far away from the stench as possible. "Who're you and what're planning on doing down there with my legs?"

@Noodles
"Right this way!" The young marine repeated for the dozenth time, after only a few meters of running. "The captain's right this way." He barreled past several marines, all looking confused as they watched Janet pass by, and he would've continued doing if not for the older marine figuring something was off, and clothes lining the man right in the Adam's apple.

"What the hells going on now, Jack!" The marine wasn't much taller than Boomer's escort, but he was a great deal wider, with the kind of muscles that came from good genes, a bad attitude, and a rough lesson. "Who've you got there?"

"Frank!" Jack said, and his brain took a miniature vacation. "I'm glad we found you." He raised up Janet's hand, which he managed to hold on to somehow. "The intruder's on the boat. I'm sure of it this time." He pointed at Janet. "She saw it too." Sitting up, the young marine, Jack, motioned for Janet to say what she saw.

The bull of a marine sighed. "Jack, god damn it." He pointed at the woman. "Look at her! She's an intruder"

@Shiyonichi
"Of course." Abbygail sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. She didn't know why she did it when she was thinking, but it helped, at least she felt like it helped. At the very least, it didn't hurt, she hoped. Frowning, with the knowledge that an infinite loop was on its way, she opened her eyes and shoved her hands into her jacket pockets before they were able to do any real harm. "Cutting people about does that to a person, doesn't it." Sighing she looked down to try figuring things out with the floor's help.

"Hey! What're you doing!?" The beaten marine snapped as Red-Eyes put her hands on him and started undoing his clothing. "If something happens to our outfits, it." He paused at the sight of the woman's raised fist. "Fine." He groaned, defeated. The woman wasn't very big, but she hit like a woman who was very big, and he would know. Both his parents were marines, and she was the one that you didn't want to get smacked by. "Have your way, but I won't enjoy it!" This was a lie to, but with another marine so close by he had to make sure he kept the bravado and resistance up, at least to a point.

By the time the swordswoman was done changing she turned to see Abbygail on a chair, leaning towards her, with the kind of grin most only saw at shows that involved poles, beautiful women, and old rich men who couldn't afford to have them any other way. "What?" Abbygail blinked before sighing in disappointment. That was quick. She would've asked for more, but before she could, Red-Eyes was already leaping over towards the other ship.

Thanks to Geppo, Abbygail didn't land too far behind Red-Eyes. She could've overtaken her, but the view of the woman's long legs was too much of a temptation, even for the former marine.

"Hey!" A voice called from the boat. "Look over there." Judging from the sounds going on the marine ship, apparently someone had noticed Janet. "Are those the intruders everyone keeps talking about?"

"I don't know." Another voice said. "Just be ready to arrest them when they land. "

@grandia20
A lone marine, unsure of where he left his shoe, burst out of his quarters, and rushed around, trying to retrace his steps from the previous evening. In doing so he noticed a young woman, with something in her hands that obviously didn't belong to her.

"Hey!" He called, putting his hand on the handle of his cutlass. "What do you think you're doing with that!"

@Ioua8654

What I meant was how do villains work in your arcs, how do you transition from each arc, and what about time skips.

The first part is still kind of odd, but I'll explain the best I can.
Villains will be used in a variety of ways. Sometimes they'll be straight forward, set antagonist for an arc. Other times they'll be characters who'll attempt to manipulate our characters, as well as others to meet a specific goal. There are some enemies who'll be friends or allies of our group but will have a change of heart, or oppose our characters over a certain subject. Other enemies we'll have to go out and either destroy, apprehend or neutralize in some form.

The transfer between arcs will be done with some slice of life.

That, I'm still thinking of. Currently, I'm leaning more towards a bunch of small time skips like months in between, but might do a few larger ones down the line.

@Champion

Most of this looks good, but how come he wasn't able to learn the name of his shikai?

@Red Mage
