To be perfectly honest, that doesn't seem feasible. Semblances evolve, sure, but whatever they become needs to be a logical evolution of what came before. Ben, for example, could have his Semblance evolve pretty easily to tweak where the strength for his Semblance comes from, or exactly what effect it has. Or Lauren could learn to use that aura of positiveness for an extension of her enhanced state.

But going from passively affecting awareness to deathtouch is...

A pretty massive jump. Like, completely jumping branches on the metaphorical evolutionary tree.

"Maybe I was trying to buoy my own odds," Amy said, the smirk never leaving her face, extending a few links of the Fury out, stiffening it, and using the bladed point to cut the straps holding the battery in. "To be honest, with this attitude toward a woman in danger, I can see why you've never scored."

The fingers of her free hand found the nuts attaching the ground cables to the cell, deftly undoing them quickly. She didn't know much about the more technical aspects of circuitry, but disconnecting the power before she cut them to take them away seemed like a good idea.

"Honey," she continued, answering his earlier statement and moving on to the positive wires, "I do know. At this point, I can tell. Trust me."

"I'll go with you," Amy piped up, crossing her arms and walking toward Luke. "My hearing's good enough to pick up anything that might be coming. Cap, you get my spotting zone for a bit, would ya?"

The arm crossing wasn't just a throwaway gesture. Her fingers tapped releases on the insides of the Fury, arming it to be ready to spring out instantly if Grimm showed. As she and Luke walked toward the truck, her senses dialed up another notch, time seeming to slow ever so slightly.

"Think you might be getting a little cocky, Schwarz," she muttered just loud enough that he could hear. "Figured I needed to weigh down the boost to your odds of survival granted by your obvious lack of sexual experience."

The smirk was playing at the edges of her lips again.

"As one of the two token hot chicks in this horror movie, I motion we go with Cap's plan. Splitting up tends not to bode well for my archetype's chances. Especially because I'm the slutty one."

Amy smirked slightly, turning her attention back to the environment around them. Of the party, she almost certainly had the best senses. If something tried to creep up, she'd know.
