Ay, if you see me lurking on your profile, it's because there was drama on the status bar which I missed and I'm being nosey AF. Don't mind me.

There must be hundreds, if not thousands, of incredible RP ideas that are wasted every year, due simply to a poorly formatted Interest Check. Shit's gotta pop off the screen and punch you in the face!

Yo, I'm Kalas!

I'm actually less gone now than I have been for years. I've even joined a new RP, hoping it lasts!

Here are some Roleplay Ideas that I have attempted to run in the past but which ultimately failed because I'm a trash GM. If any one of these ideas interest you i.e. You'd like to assist me in running one or you'd fancy trying to run a game yourself, please do not hesitate to contact me first. I don't mind you taking inspiration but don't blatantly rip my shit off. P.S. I have several old threads archived, as well as PMs to myself, in order to stake my claim to these Roleplay ideas.

Hahahahahaha, I've got a character with almost the exact Shikai. Actually, if you merge her with one of my other characters, it would probably be the exact same as yours :P

Hahaha! What a coincidence! O.o

I can change it if you'd like?
Apologies for the lack of forewarning, but I saw this and just had to write something up. :D

Let me know what you think.

Sorry for the delay, been a rough couple of work days, and haven't been up to writing. I'm working on next IC, and it will be up at some point tonight.

I know how you feel man, I've had to smash out pretty much a full portfolio, covering two years of work, in four days. My fingers are bleeding :'(

That's the plot I was leaning towards, never been a fan of PvP threads :v I do have one last question, though. As GM, are you going to be playing a member of the player group as well as various NPCs, or are you going to be playing the role of the king exclusively? I ask because I was talking about the thread with a close friend and that was brought up :E

That's good to know :D And to answer your question; King Jalan is more of a superior entity in this RP, much like Kayaba Akihiko was seen to be before his true identity was revealed. The players know of his existence but they don't see him that often. That said, however, Sotaro prefers to dress himself as NPCs to directly interact with the players, as shown above. So no, I won't exclusively be playing the King.

Hmmmm... What will be the main plot of the RP? Are we(The player group) competing against each other in these games as you have them set up in the AU? Or are we to be actually seeking the hidden truth and looking for a way to end the game for everyone? I'm more inclined towards one plot over the other, but I would rather not stray you from your intentions if it's not the one you were thinking of :D

To be honest, I was angling more for the hidden truth option, however, I'm open to suggestions. Which one did you prefer anyhow?
"Ladies & Gentlemen, Boys & Girls! Gather round! Gather round!"

You scan your surroundings tentatively. It's been a long while since this many people were together in one place. You watch silently as hordes of others take their seats within the massive limestone amphitheatre. Eventually, though, you take your own seat upon the upper ring, high above most others and close to the nearest exit. That fact settles your nerves a little and you begin to focus on the single man stood in the center of the arena.

"That's it, take your seats! Make yourself comfortable! Today I have an exciting announcement to make!"

A joyous expression lit up his face as he spoke, his arms flailing in conjunction with the energy of his projected voice. He was dressed in immaculate white robes that were difficult to look at due to the sun's glare. This fact, coupled with his over-the-top excitement, meant that he was merely an NPC. Another of Sotaro Fujimoto's constructs designed to guide the people of this world. Once everyone had taken their seats a wave of whispers spread throughout the crowd before the NPC spoke again.

"It is by the highest honour, bestowed upon me by our esteemed King Jalan, that I am delighted to announce: That at the start of the coming month, this very arena will play host to the 4th Annual Guild Wars! Your King wishes to express his profound excitement towards this year's games and would like to wish each one of you who are selected a very good luck. The bloodshed begins in one month's time!"

The Announcer threw up his hands as he finished his proclamation. Gazing around at the crowd with a wide grin as the majority of them now stood at their feet, cheering and hollering at the news. You, however, can only look to your feet in disgust. You get up and slowly glare at all of the people - real people - who know full well what the Guild Wars involve. You turn around and begin to climb towards the exit steps of the amphitheatre. A faint jingle catches your attention accompanied by a new message. It stops you dead in your tracks.

Gingerly, you point to the air in front of you, bringing up your personal User Interface and click to your inbox. The title reads: YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN. You turn around fast, only to see the announcer staring directly toward you. An arrogant smirk covers his face. You clench your jaw in anger, knowing full well who the announcer really is. You discard the message and storm out of the amphitheatre.

Welcome to...

Hello! And thank you for taking the time to take a peek at my Interest Check. SAO:TGW is an alternate universe RP set within the fictional world of Aincrad. The same rule applies, wherein if you die in-game you die in real life. However, the idea of this game is not to clear levels to reach the 100th floor. You, along with roughly 10,000 others, have been trapped within SAO for nearly four years. Though the game started with 25,000 players, that number has been whittled down gradually over the years with the help of The Guild Wars.

These Guild Wars are portrayed as World Events in which a large selection of players must compete against each other and survive in order to gain the chance to be released from the game. The players are split into two Guilds; The Dragon Warriors of the Midnight Realm and The Crimson Guardians of the Asylum. Each week, a team of five from each guild will battle it out against the opposite team in various different modes of death matches. The last players standing from each team will then be put through to the Final Eight and after four weeks the Eight will battle against each other in 1v1 duels to the death. The winner of the Final Eight duels will then be given the chance to fight King Jalan and claim their freedom.

However, there is rumour of an uprising. Information Brokers have been going crazy trying to establish what is truth is what is fiction but the general jist is that a former Argus employee was trapped within the game by Sotaro Fujimoto. No one knows how but this prisoner seems to have escaped their confinement and is apparently gathering supporters against Fujimoto, who joins the players in game as King Jalan. Many a player has searched for this supposed prisoner but not even the Cardinal system can find him. Some believe that he doesn't even exist, that he is just some lie told by a player too afraid of the Guild Wars.

The question is, though, what will you choose to believe in? Will you fight in the Guild Wars and gamble for freedom? Or will you rise up and take what is rightfully yours?

The T-Intersection of Maynard and Fremont

“Can anyone get to McCoy!”

It was Master Gunnery Sergeant Jameson, who was asking over the Comm-link, Jace soon realized as he slammed another fresh shredder magazine into his battle rifle. "I'm working on it, sir!" He replied as dozens of little green globs of super-heated plasma streaked passed him barely, sizzling away at whatever was left of the warehouse behind him. Re-acquiring the Grunts via his scope, he soon noticed the dangerously large green glow of an overcharged plasma pistol. "Shit!" Was all he could manage before throwing himself to the ground and rolling behind random metallic ammo crate that had been thrown from the warehouse behind him during the planet's glassing. More plasma began melting away the cargo box, as the overcharged shot crackled above him where he was stood just seconds before. He could feel the heat of it wash against his suit. He knew he couldn't stay there for long.

Turning back to face his comrades, he noticed Tenjer taking a glancing shot of plasma to the side of his face. His helmet began to sizzle way and Jace could start to see burnt flesh. "Tenjer!" He yelled over the three-way comm between himself, Brewer and the recently struck marine. Anders didn't have time to move toward him before the crate began to completely melt into slag. Rolling to his left, Anders quickly aimed his rifle as he lay prone on the sidewalk. Squeezing the trigger once more, another set of bullets were sent flying into one of the Grunts assaulting him, silencing its' sustained plasma fire. He turned to look at Tenjer, who was still under heavy fire. "Tenjer, get your ass behind some damn cover! Brewer, we're going for McCoy, cover me and I'll cover you!" Pushing himself up off of the ground, he could see, in full view, the Zealot who had almost killed McCoy with a plasma grenade and was now striding toward his fallen comrade to finish the job. "Oh, hell no!" He exclaimed, firing bullets into the patrol group to provide Brewer with a window to move.

Then, moving quickly, he dived behind the husk of a burnt out car, narrowly escaping the hail of fresh plasma that had been sent to kill him. He opened up the detachment Comm-link. "We're gonna need some immediate back up at Maynard and Fremont, I'm Oscar Mike to McCoy's position but these Covies have almost got me pinned!" He let off a few wild shots in his enemies' general direction, hoping to slow their rate of fire. "Not to mention the big, ugly Zealot motherfucker making his way toward McCoy to finish the job!"
