Griffin glared at the other man. Detaining the man meant admitting that they hadn't been able to get the information that they needed. He could use his powers. Technically that wasn't against the law but it the man was a supernatural creature, which they pretty much determined that he was, it could be viewed as an attack. Unfortunately him attacking a supernatural creature without cause could get their case thrown out. He didn't think that was likely to happen. They had probable cause.

"Detain him Astra. He is being uncooperative. We have a potentially dangerous shapeshifter who is stealing human lives. We need to protect everyone from being who endanger others." Griffin didn't like it he was almost sure that the man was a shifter. He decided that he had had enough. He took out a silver coin out of his pocket. He hadn't wanted to test without cause but the shop owner was hiding something. "On second thought. Hang on a minute."

Seeing the coin the own growled. He picked up the cash register and throw it at Astra. Griffin jumped over the counter to reach the other man. The shop owner tried to run but shifters weren't much faster than the humans they had once been so Griffin was able to grab him. He bared his teeth at the man. "You are under arrest for assaulting two federal agents and taking the life of a human."

Lords of the Underworld

Long ago several Lords of the Underworld were locked away in a box made of the bones of a very powerful woman. These Lords were the most powerful demons and once locked away their influence on the world lesser. The box was lost for many years. Everyone forgot that it existed.

Unfortunately the peace didn't last long. One day the box was destroyed. No one knows who or how it was destroyed only that it was gone. The Lords of the Underworld of the underworld were now free. Unfortunately they no longer had bodies. Desperate to stay in the world they were forced into human bodies. These humans woke up one day to discover that they are not alone inside their head. Most of them are decent people struggling to maintain who they were before are despite the demon that now shares their body and mind.

The Lords are on the surface and they want to stay there. They have no intentions of being locked away again. Their souls are bound with the human so they can't just take over. They have to find away to deal with the human world.

Bio:He was born into a dark world. The only light in his world was his mother. Unfortunately she was killed when he was only six. After that his life only got worse. He grew up in two worlds. One he was heir to a business tycoon. In the other he was the son of the crime boss. In both worlds he was expected to be perfect. He did his best giving everything he could to met the expectations that were set of him but he often fell short. As he grow older he saw the differences in his two worlds. He began to hate the man he called father. He started to plan his escape. His father knew this and planned ahead. On his sixteenth birthday his father placed a baby boy into his arms. He had no way of proving that the boy was his brother. Not that it mattered. He knew his father would use the boy against him. He decided that he would do whatever he could to protect the boy from his father. The next few years were hard on him but he was able to give his brother a better childhood than he had. Which was all he really wanted. When he was eighteen his father "suggested" he volunteer for the experiment. He was hesitate to be so far from his brother but knew he couldn't refuse so he signed up on the condition that he could check in to make sure that his father was abiding by the agreement they made.

Your character is hybrid. Part human, part pokemon. He is a subject of human experimentation, and held deep within a secret military facility. The program he belongs to is focused on creating living weapons by splicing humans with pokemon DNA to create creatures with superior strength, reflexes, and senses to a human and superior intelligence to other animals used in war, but that can still be easily controlled by their handlers. They will have to learn to work together and control their powers and instincts before they can can even think about rejoining society.
