Hello Everyone. Welcome to my page. Feel free to call me Ms. Winters Or Major Winters. Most people do. I have been with the guild over three years now. I have many RPs and 1x1s. Feel free to take a look. I am 45 (Yes I know I am older than most). I have been happily married for 24 years. I have two gremlins. I love to read. Roxy raised her eyebrow when Devika shook her head. She was glad that the other woman wasn't embarrassed by her parents behavior. The waitress had clearly been overwhelmed by whatever her parents had been talking about. She couldn't understand what they had been talking to about. She wasn't smart enough to even pretend to follow the conversation.

"Don't worry about me. Just act like I'm not here." Roxy waved her hand as to dimiss the attention directed at her. This weekend wasn't about her."This weekend about the three of you reconnecting." It was clear they cared about each other. They deserved to spend as much time together as possible. She would have to talk to Devika about that. Maybe every other week or something. She would make it work. One of the benefits of working for herself was that she could be flexible.
Roxy shrugged. She wasn't afraid of the cops. She had trained to spy on her father's competition. She knew how to avoid the cops. The cops were the least of her problems. "Let them call. What are they going to tell the cops? That you disappeared after a night of drinking?" She challenged him. Did he really think the police could do anything to help him? He wasn't that important to anyone else. "No one saw me and I was out of the cameras range. As far as the world is concerned you decided to take a walk and disappeared."

While she hadn't had a lot of time to plan she had looked up the school and it's security. She hadn't had time to do much beyond see what kind of security system they used and get the specks. Making sure she was out of range hadn't been hard. "My father knows where you are. He has verified that your the son of his old partner. He knows you were given the chip when you turned twenty-one. He's spending his men down to capture you. So your choice are me or him." She told him bluntly. She could prove that his witness protection had been compromised.

Roxy relaxed a little when Devika let it go. There wasn't anything anyone could change thing so they just to have a way to deal with it. She ran her fingers through her hair before following Devika out of the bathroom. She hung back as far as dared. She had to get passed this. It was stupid. It was a fact. One that she had dealt with before. It was just harder to ignore when she couldn't simply walk away.

"That sounded like an interesting conversation." Roxy said as she returned to her seat. She knew it wasn't the best idea considering that Devika just ended whatever that conversation had been but she figured it was better to direct everyone's attention to something else. The last thing she wanted was to draw attention to the fact she was feeling jealous and out of place. Maybe if she didn't focus o. It the feeling would go away.
Roxy shrugged. "Nope. I don't expect you to believe I have good intentions." No one believe that. Even though it was true. Sort of. She wouldn't say that she was being selfish. Nor was she a hero. She was doing what she had to do to accomplish her goal. She had no delusions he would cooperate. There was little reason for him to. Especially since he didn't know that he was in danger. Maybe she should have waited until her father attacked.

She shook her head. "I don't have the wrong guy. Your father worked with mine when you were younger." She explained. It wasn't likely to remember much. They had both been young. She didn't remember him being brought to the office at any time. She had been the only child in the building most of the time and she had only been there because she had been in training to be her father's second.

"You haven't see your father in years because he died years ago. If he was still alive I would gone after him since he was the moron who thought he could get away with stealing from my father." She told him as she drove through the city. She had no idea how get him from the van to the safe house. Hopefully she would think of something by the time they got there.
Probably best to push. Devika has acknowledged its awkward. She should try to enjoy her time with her parents. Including Roxy when possible but not pushing will help Roxy relax.
Birthday party 🎉🥳
Just irritated. Mostly at herself. She feels like she shouldn't be bothered by how close Devika is with her family but she is.
Roxy nodded once Jess made a fist the way she showed her. It was much better than the original. Not perfect but that took time. Eventually Jess would find a position and form that suited her best. She watched as the empath but the gloves on. That should buffer the blow some. She watched watched Jess throw the punch. It wasn't bad. She gave the other woman a half smile when Jess yelped.

"That's what they say. Your form isn't bad. Once you find your balance you'll be able to hit faster. For now I would just hit the bag a few times. Build up slowly." She encouraged. It was something she hadn't had the luxury of doing but she refused to push Jess as hard as she had been pushed. Jess had nothing to prove. She was just trying to learn to defend herself.
