I hadn't really thought about it. I figured you would decide where he kept it. I don't think he'd have it at the dorm but he's your character.

Roxy was surprised and confused by Devika's reaction. She hadn't expected laughter. She wasn't sure if this a good thing or not. She hadn't been looking forward to explaining her complicated childhood but it seemed that the empath wasn't phased by the information. Maybe it wasn't as unusual as she thought. It seemed like something everyone but her had played a game of sort. She listened to the instructions. It seemed simple enough.

"I'm not the best speller but I'll try." She replied. She saw no reason not to at least try. It wasn't likely she would get another to try it. Games seemed to be mostly for families. She didn't have families and it wasn't likely she would have one in the future. She simply didn't have enough experience to risk trying to build a family of her own. She wouldn't do that to an innocent kid.

"I doubt that since I don't drink." She told him. Drinking was a weakness. She couldn't afford to be weak. Strength was the only way to survive her world. Now more than ever she needed to have control. She wouldn't go to college. She couldn't. Roxy pushed the thought away. Now wasn't the time to worry about it. She check the mirrors to make sure she didn't have a tail. The last thing she needed was someone to follow them.

"I doubt anyone would describe me as nice but I won't hurt you." Roxy explained. She wouldn't have to. With the chip she could bring her asshole father down. Revenge for turning his back wasn't her only motive but she would never deny it played a big part in her current goal.

"My name is Roxy." She answered when he asked her name. She saw no reason to not to. He would either help her take down a criminal enterprise or they would go down in the attempt. Either there was no risk to giving him her name. "They won't draw attention to themselves by harming anyone at the college. At most they'll search your room and take your devices while the others are in class." She assured him.
LOL yes. I'm not good at it though. I'm a horrible speller.
Roxy had no idea how to handle the comment. She hadn't expected to be included. There was no logical reason for them to include her. She wasn't like them. She didn't know how to be casual. It was better to keep some space between them. That way when they lost interest it wouldn't hurt as much. And she had no doubt that they would eventually everyone else had. "It isn't rude if I tell you it's alright. I don't really fit in."

Roxy hadn't really been pay attention to them talking. She figured they would do something to fill the last few hours of the day. She looked at Devika when she heard the other woman say her name. "I've never played it." Neither of her parents had been interested in those kind of things. Her mother had only been interested in beauty and status. Her father had only been interested in strength and business.

Roxy smirked and shook her head as Jess pretended to attack the punching bag. She watched the other woman. Not judging her but studying her movements. She was looking to for ways to help Jess learn how to defend herself. The problem was she hadn't ever taught someone. She wanted to do it right. It was important that Jess could survive her world. Because she would always in her world. Even if it was only on the edges.

"I think it's learned it's lesson. At least for today." She assured Jess. She was glad that the other woman had enjoyed the training. It wasn't much but Roxy felt like it was a solid start. "You should practice at least once a day. The more you do it the more natural it will become." She could throw a punch without thinking. It was important that defence become automatic. If you had to think about it you would be too late for it to do you any good.
