Barely breaking 5', she's quite the short stuff.
Name: Maya Enilsdottir
Age: 16
Grade: 4th
Nationality: Monarchy of Telemarin, in the cold North. A nation well known for it's iron production and logging industry, protected by vast mountainranges and deep forests. A nation also known for poverty amongst the common people, debt and loansharks controlling large parts of the cities.
Theme: Glare - Maya's frozen glare is well renowned around the entire school at this point, often dubbed the ice queen given her heritage in the cold landscape in the North it has been a title she's accepted. Despite her cold exterior and harsh words however, she's still one to take care of her friends. Indeed, her cold exterior is in strict opposition to her nervous mind.
Bio: Born to Enil Mengsson, the famous loanshark residing in the city of Skeihn, Maya's youth was one of both wealth and happiness. Maya knew little strife, little dissatisfaction as every day was a new experience. Be it a trip to the southern nations of Europa with her father, be it gifts from the common people seeking her father's affection or be it a new dish on her table. Growing up in a world where everyone considered her an equal even to the royal family, Maya's smile offered the plagued souls around her a moment of relief from their pain.
Well, that is until the revelation of what her father was. Maya was never a dumb child, but she was naive, truly naive. In her very early teens she began to understand exactly what type of work her father was doing, and the knowledge that she's living the good life and just riding whatever wave her father offered.. by sending others to the cauldrons and mines. She grew colder to her father, to her friends and to herself, she seemed to fall into a depression. And confronted with this, she figured that if she's going to accept living in luxury, she should have the title, the knowledge and the diploma stating her position. And thus, she convinced her father to sen her to Saint Hirst.
Sample Post: Raising up from the comfortable sheets at the ripe time of 5AM, the blonde girl staggered herself onto her feet. Covered only by a long pyjamas, she took a gentle, prideful walk to the dormitory bathroom, walking as if dancing on pillows. Her back straight, her deep, blue eyes peering forward, it was clear she strode forth with a highborn air. And delicately, she gently pushed the door to the bathroom open, blinking lightly. What's that? Someone else is here already? Her blue gaze locked itself on the poor girl already preparing herself for the day, peering onto her as if the frozen wrath came seeping over the female. Maya blinked again, the girl stepping to the side before dashing out of the room.
'Damnit. Damnit. Damnit. Maya, you idiot. People fear you. Why do they fear you so bad?' She glared at herself in the mirror, the icy eyes hard and and chilly, before finally sighing. It can't be helped. She's the resident queen of ice and tundra, after all. Well, whatever, she'll have to wipe away the single tear and start to apply her makeup. Pushing herself up, she headed back to her dorm room while life seemed to come to in the halls. Noisy. Annoying. She sighed again. And before anything else, she was dressed and ready to head off to class, despite it being a few hours left.
Moving to her kitchen, she began preparing some tea while picking up the newest school news. Like father, like daughter, she thought while reading her papers, occasionally sipping her hot tea. Her left leg crossing her right, her pinky finger sticking out in the air with refinement, and her lazy, cold gaze scrolling over the endless batter of letters that only once in a while formed a word in her tired mind.
At the very least she could enjoy the solitude of the mornings, she figured as she paced the papers down and instead looked at the sunrise out of her window. Beautiful.
Extras: Her right eye has a golden brand similar to a teardrop, barely visible unless you actually look into them
