Luna Braddock - Glimpse
Location: The Cherry Bomb -- Washington D.C.
Skills:
Mystique. Luna tried to jar her memory on the name while she looked at the picture and listened to Havok continue to speak. It seemed the mystery man wasn’t completely mysterious though if Havok’s brother knew of him. ”Perhaps you can call him later and get some information. If Jack doesn’t tell us everything.” Luna finished her drink and shifted in her seat. ”Oi! That one picture there, the pretty blonde, could I see that for a moment? She looks like a friend I know,” Luna told the bartender.
Jack came over and sat on the other side of Luna. She looked at him, trying to gauge his attitude and how to broach the subject. She figured being blunt would be the best avenue. Quickest too. ”I took the liberty of taking a walk upstairs and your friend, he seems a little old for you. By a few hundred years.” Luna’s eyes wandered back over to the door that lead to the basement. Something was going on down there. They wouldn’t be down there that long if they hadn’t found some thing but whether it was dangerous or not was a different question.
Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker
Location: JFK Memorial Hospital -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Enhanced Strength
Waverley seemed to relax a bit from Cayden’s words and slowly, the signal of her face shifting told Cayden it had worked. He smirked a bit at the expression on her face, it was cute. Cayden looked over at Colossus as he picked up a different bear and spun the little propeller on the hat. He couldn’t help but picture him doing that as the big silver guy and it was a rather comical sight. Of course what happened next was even more comical. Colossus didn’t even remotely sound convincing in claiming to be angry. Cayden watched the shelving unit be thrown and sighed a little. They needed something that would get security to come running and maybe doctors to keep them away from the floor the drug team was on. Or team Cryotherapy according to Waverley.
Cayden tried to act shocked at Colossus’s actions while looking around, trying to think of an idea to cause a bigger distraction. He looked at another display case and shrugged. Why not. ”Really? You call that an angry smash?” Cayden picked up the display case and stepped to the side unevenly. The case swayed and he nearly dropped the awkward weight on himself but he managed to let go and it smashed lamely in front of him. ”Huh, that’s a lot harder than it looks,” Cayden said, trying to brush off his embarrassment. ”How about a throwing contest?!” Cayden picked up a nearby glass figurine and got ready to throw it into the main portion of the hospital.
