Bio

You see, some people are born with a piece of night inside, and that hollow place can never be filled --- not with all the good or sunshine in the world. ... we must simply endure it.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Sinister’s Lair -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna was able to keep Sabertooth bound and kept it up even when Veil pinned him down, for extra assurance. Despite Spark Plug not being able to deduce Luna’s clever analogy, she was able to shock the creature with use of water when Veil destroyed the sprinkler system. Between the three of them, they got Sabertooth knocked out. Luna released her hold and a rush of air and release overcame her. She let out a breath and nodded in agreement to Spark Plug’s idea of getting out of there. ”We should keep trying to find the others and Emma,” Luna said but followed after Spark Plug. They seemed to work better together, she wasn’t about to suggest splitting up.

Luna inched around Sabertooth before falling into step next to Spark Plug. They needed to find a faster way to get to everyone else but that also depended on who Veil wanted to find. ”If you want, I can see about tracking the others but it would work better if you narrowed it down to one or two people you want to find right away,” Luna suggested to their leader. Luna wanted to locate Emma Frost personally but she would hold back her own vedetta.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Van/Road -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden automatically ducked down as shots started to be fired, he even hovered over Waverley a little while she hacked into the police radios and hopefully bought them some time. ”Maybe slow down a little Sapphire… I know we are short on time but even though the cops are called off, they might leave one behind since we are speeding…” It was just a suggestion of course, Cayden would do what he could to keep the police from taking the driver out.
Once the shots stopped, Cayden shifted, pulling his arms back from blocking Waverley and settled into his seat. Even though they had two deranged people in the back, he seemed oddly relaxed while speeding through a city that was foreign to him. He didn’t know where a good place to lay low would be, all he saw were back alleys and more buildings. Not much of a, middle of nowhere place, was D.C. Periodically, Cayden would look behind him at the unconscious persons, making sure they weren’t awake and about to stab him in the back or something.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Chinese Place -- Wichita, Kansas
Skills:

”Mmm soup. I’ll have a coke as well,” she informed the waiter before looking back at the menu. She flipped through it a couple of times. ”I think I’ll have some sweet n sour pork with chicken chow mein and noodles,” Cassiopeia declared. She settled into her seat and looked around the restaurant. This place did well, despite the lack of it seeming busy. Most of their business was take-out Cassiopeia imagined. Which was smart since a major disadvantage about eating in was having to sit in a restaurant that smelled amazing but you didn’t have anything to eat yet.
Cassiopeia pushed around some sugar packets, rearranging them in the dish by colour while she thought about her twin sister’s proposition. ”Maybe we should. I don’t know what good will come of it though. Not like our parents were ever around to begin with. What use is it getting information on them now.” There was a bit of an edge to Cassiopeia’s voice but it was filled with a tiredness. She had longed to know who her true parents were when she was younger but as the years passed, she gave up on the idea of. Whoever they were, gave up on them so what was the point searching for someone who obviously didn’t want to be found.

Willow Jones

Location: The Diner
Skills:

Willow smiled a bit at Sierra and nodded, thanking her for the free coffee. She leaned against the back of the booth she had been sitting at but didn’t take a seat. She was a bit on edge still from what had just happened and the fact that she was now skipping school. Maybe caffeine wasn’t a good idea to consume. Willow overheard the group talking a bit and couldn’t help but tune in, a distraction would be nice for her.
Sierra came back over and Willow took the coffee from her graciously and took a small sip of the black liquid. The harsh taste soothed her quickly and now she needed to add some sugar to it. She moved around to the table, setting the cup down and grabbed a couple sugar packages. ”A letter?” What was so strange about getting a letter? Of course, Willow had gotten a strange letter today but what were the odds of two strange letters. Willow had nearly forgotten about that strange letter, speaking of danger and birth parents. She still needed to talk to her parents about that.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Inside the Big House/Infirmary ---> The Arena -- Camp Half-Blood

The horn sounded, signalling that everyone was to drop what they were doing and head to the arena. Ezekiel sighed, he wouldn’t be able to hide from this one. Ezekiel took the peppermint and put it away so it wouldn’t completely dry out and then he could make the paste or another Apollo could make it for Rosie. He topped off her tea before taking the cup from her so she could get into the floating chair. ”Just as long as it doesn’t suddenly drop out,” he said, eyeing the chair suspiciously.
Ezekiel helped Rosie get into the chair before giving her the tea back and they made their way to the arena. The one thing that everyone in this camp was quick about, was getting to that arena when the horn sounded. That and maybe the starting of Capture the Flag. Even when monsters would attack the barrier, not everyone rushed to go see what was going on. This was different though. Ezekiel looked around, finding where his house and half-siblings would all gather and normally sit. He found them easily as most of them all had the same shining blonde hair and any sunlight was usually attracted to them, making it seem like they were glowing. Ezekiel looked away from them, all nerves and decided to stick with Rosie just encase she needed something.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Sinister’s Lair -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy -- Binding

”Trying to,” Luna ground out. She was concentrating extra hard on this one as he was greatly pushing back on her. Miracle upon miracle, she was able to push him back a bit more and keep him straining in position. It seemed he had a great healing factor so doing anything on the outside, was useless. ”Spark, you wouldn’t happen to know anything about brain waves would you? Think of the inner workings of a car,” Luna said, playing on their mutual knowledge about mechanics. ”The wires, short circuit him if you can. Nothing we do on the outside will keep him down for long.”
Luna didn’t dare move a step, her complete concentration was on keeping Sabertooth at bay to buy the other two some time in dispatching him. She didn't want to risk stepping forward to use some of her other talents in order to take him down. Luna didn’t even want to try to speak to him to have him stand down or play dead for all she cared. She remained focused on keeping him in place while the others tried to think of a quick plan.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Roundabout Gift Shop - JFK Memorial Hospital ---> Van/Road -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden didn’t linger long either, following after the others to get to the vehicle as quickly as possible. He was barely inside when Sapphire floored it and he fell against whoever was sitting beside him before he could right himself and put on a seat belt. Cayden looked behind him at the spasming Magik and the dying Vulcan in the back. ”So medical treatment 101 on the move? Or are we waiting until we get back to the Underground?” There wasn’t much any of them could do about the cop situation other than drive like hell so if there was anything they could do now, Cayden would help, despite him having the urge to push Vulcan out the back and blame faulty locks.
Cayden shifted in his seat, facing forward again and untied the leather piece that was holding his hair back and wrapped it around his wrist again, tying it nicely and securing it with his teeth. His pushed his hair back with his hand and let out a breath, leaning back in his seat as the world zoomed by outside his window. What a whirlwind of activity these past few days. Cayden felt like he could sleep for a week due to all the activity and adrenaline rushes he experienced.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: The Well of Mimir -- Asgard
Skills:

Oddly, Cuyler let out a sigh of relief when the mysterious hooded figure plucked his eye out. There was an initial shock and pain but it was quickly covered by the quick healing of his skin, covering the terrifying extra hole in his head. He ran a hand over where his eye used to sit and felt the tender new flesh there. It was going to take some getting used to, maybe he would get a patch like Thor. What would Thor think, having someone else with a missing eye in the family. Odin, Thor and now Cuyler. He couldn’t help but smile a little from the thought.

Cuyler focused back when a chalice appeared and he was instructed to drink. The chalice was of no impressive make, clearly not from the iron smiths on Asgard and it could use a bit of a shine. Cuyler shook out his hands, letting out a shaky breath before he took the cup. ”May the odds be ever in my favour,” he said before he brought the solid cup to his lips and tipped it back to drink from the water of Mimir. His only eye rolled back in his head as he was overtaken with a vision. It was Ragnarok and although hearing stories and tales of what it would be like, there was nothing that could have prepared him for seeing this. It was as if he were actually there, amongst the fire and clanging of metal and the cries of people as death claimed them. It reminded Cuyler of the gulls that cried on the sea, following him into port. Cuyler started walking, following a pull as the vision pulled him along. People dropped around him but no one touched him, not even the blood as limbs were severed. Nor did he stumble as the world seemingly shook and opened up around him. As he neared the epicenter, the pull felt stronger and his steps quickened. This person, whoever he was, he was the start of this devastation. Cuyler narrowed his eyes as the target came into view. Their back was turned, a black cloak billowing out around them in a most unnatural way. He began moving with purpose, his long strides covering the distance quickly. Reaching out, Cuyler grabbed the cloaked person and turned them around. His eyes widened and he stepped back from the person. It was no male, it wasn’t Fenrir or any of the suspects. It was Arya.

Cuyler came back after the reveal of the bringing of Ragnarok and Cuyler dropped to a knee, both from the shock and from the sudden change again. He stared at the water at his feet, feeling a strange sense of hollowness along with utter grief. Rowland said that Cuyler was going to have to stop Arya, to end her Darkeness but this... He hadn’t expected her to be the end of worlds. Cuyler looked up at the hooded figure. ”What does this mean?” Cuyler felt like he was lost at sea, much like he had on the day his village had been destroyed and he had no compass to guide him where he needed to be.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Stark Tower -- New York City, New York.
Skills:

The information on the size of the ship was rather daunting but at least they knew what the object in question looked like. Antoinette looked at the image of the device, trying to commit the image to memory. With the supposed size of the ship, there was a slim chance they would find the device quickly; although, they’ve been lucky before, if not in the way they expect. ”Do we have any idea where it might be approximately on the ship?” It would be so much easier if they had an outline of the ship. Antoinette could sketch the thing out or create an illusion of it on a smaller scale.
She walked back over and stood with Carolina, crossing her arms. There wasn’t much ability Antoinette had in this situation other than to ask questions. She didn’t have speed, she didn’t have the mechanics to understand a ship or how it worked but her intuition could potentially help her to get a lead on where the item might be. They would have to move quickly, that much was obvious. She looked over at Carolina, smiling softly at her friend before taking her hand in hers. At least they could do this together this time.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Chinese Place -- Wichita, Kansas
Skills:

”Well we can cut it down,” Cassiopeia stated. ”Donate some of it to the orphanage or shelter,” she suggested. She sat down across from her sister, taking up the other menu and scanned over the different options she could choose from. She was probably going to order a meal for two for herself so there were leftovers for the following day. ”What are you getting?” Cassiopeia always liked to get something a bit different from her sister so there were options for them later on.
She poured herself a glass of water from the pitcher that was already on the table and sipped the refreshing liquid while she attempted to make a decision on what she wanted. Now that Cassiopeia was out of the house, she was glad to be doing something a bit more productive than laying in bed all day. Granted, she wouldn’t have completely regretted doing that either.

Willow Jones

Location: The Diner
Skills:

Willow sighed when the girl took off with her money. She looked back at the ruined paint on her car and tossed her school books inside her vehicle before running a hand through her hair. Her parents were going to be so upset but Willow wouldn’t have called the cops, even though her parents would have insisted. No, Willow wanted to help kids like that and it didn’t always require punishment, sometimes they just needed someone to listen to them. Willow moved to get into her vehicle when she saw Sierra waving at her, gesturing for her to come back into the restaurant. Well, she was already going to be late for school and in trouble with her parents, may as well play hookie for the afternoon.
Willow closed her car door and locked it again before walking back into the diner. She sent a quick text to her mom, letting her know that someone had keyed her SUV. She wasn’t going to say that some kid did it, that didn’t seem entirely right to Willow. ”Hey, do you think I could get another coffee? I know you are technically off now…” Willow said to Sierra when she walked back in. Clearly she knew what had happened to the car and the coffee wasn’t Starbucks grade but it would do for the moment.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Inside the Big House/Infirmary -- Camp Half-Blood

Once Rosie was brought awake, Ezekiel helped her sit up a bit, stacking some pillows and offered her the tea straight away. ”What do you remember?” he asked her curiously. He stepped back a bit, giving Rosie some space and looked over when Mary started to grow some peppermint. Ezekiel grinned, being a demi-god was pretty cool, when your life wasn’t being threatened. Peppermint was a well known herb that could have immediate benefits in helping with headaches and other body aches. It was an essential herb, right up there with lavender.

”Thank you,” Ezekiel added to Marygold before she left. He then looked at Rebecca. ”May I?” He wanted a couple leaves to rub between his fingers and break apart to put it into Rosie’s tea. The rest of it he would attempt to make a salve to rub into the back of her neck and temples. ”How important do you think it is to have to go the arena?” Ezekiel asked Rosie and Rebecca absentmindedly.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Sinister’s Lair -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy -- Binding

”Certainly, one other thing Veil. That astral presence I was speaking of, it’s Emma Frost.” It was poor timing on Luna’s part for when they rounded the corner they had a much bigger foe to deal with. Still, the thought of Emma Frost being here, even if she wasn’t fully here was unsettling. This place was definitely part of Shaw Industries and possibly Frost International. At the very least she had a hand in it and was currently here doing god knows what and if she was projecting herself here, she knew they were here.

Luna huffed and ran fingers through her hair. If Luna could get close enough, she could attempt to take him out but there was the whole claw thing. Taking down Sabertooth from a distance would be the best bet. Spark Plug showed up then and she glanced over at her. ”Welcome, I’ll try to keep him in place if you want to try shocking him,” Luna suggested. She stepped around Veil and narrowed her eyes at Sabertooth and attempted to enter his mind to bind him in place.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Roundabout Gift Shop - JFK Memorial Hospital -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden managed to find the Aspirin but he wasn’t about to go and pay for it. After all the gift shop was completely destroyed. He grabbed a couple bottles and hurried back to Sapphire. The other’s were starting to talk of the sirens drawing near and they didn’t have much time. Cayden opened the bottle and handed a pill to Sapphire. ”Here,” he said, tucking the bottles into his pockets. ”I can carry him if you can’t big guy,” Cayden offered Colossus. He wasn’t sure how much damage was truly done, or how quickly he could heal. There had been a lot of silver blood.
Cayden looked at Waverley when she said that the plan to throw the cops off their trail had backfired. ”Right, well guess we are treating him on the move then.” Cayden still wasn’t thrilled that they were going to try saving him in the first place. Sure, he wasn’t a killer but this was the second time Vulcan had come after them and this time he nearly succeeded in killing one of his friends. Not to mention the serious damage Cayden sustained, which wasn’t making him feel warm and fuzzy at the moment.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Stark Tower -- New York City, New York.
Skills:

The plane ride wasn’t so bad. Antoinette sat near the window looking out over New York City and the strange clouds swirling above. The city itself didn’t seem any different, which was strange considering everything that had happened within the city only a short month ago. Antoinette sighed and pulled her sweater up around her face and huddled into her clothes until they descended on top of Stark Tower. Carolina had been helping Antoinette get a better grip on her PTSD and she was able to sleep through the night at least three times a week now which was good for her but the evidence of her struggles was still plain on her face her loss of weight as well. She was cold most of the time these days.

Antoinette followed the rest of the X-Men and her friends into Stark Tower. There were several familiar faces along with a few that Antoinette only ever saw in magazines or on TV. Her eyes widened when she saw Thor and Captain America. She latched onto Carolina, tugging on her arm to make sure she was seeing them too. To have so many of them in one room was equally exciting yet terrifying. Antoinette was used to that feeling, it seemed their lives lived in that strange realm to begin with.

Talk within the room quickly shifted to a new threat on Earth and she looked out the window watching the purple clouds shift to reveal eyes. Antoinette moved to the window, getting a better look at the strange thing while talk continued on about who it was and what the mission was. She leaned against the window, turning her head only when Mary spoke up about them being the ones who would be shot into space. It shouldn’t be surprising, they were expendable as sad as it was and most of them had survived the M-Pox as well.

”The device, on Galactus’s ship, what does it look like?” Finding it would be tricky but knowing what it looked like would help them all immensely and then they would have to decide who would be the distraction. It always seemed like they needed a distraction.
