Cassiopeia's heart skipped a beat when Nic grinned at her like that. She slid her hands to his chest when he pulled her in to open the door and Cassi smirked. She wondered if he truly thought she would fall, or just wanted to hold her a little longer.

Cassiopeia batted Nic's hand away once more when he messed with her hair. She captured his hand though when he didn't take hers, wanting the connection now.

”Let's just wander until we find some place that smells good,” Cassi decided.

Avery pouted from Kimiko's new stipulation. ”How is that fair?” he asked, rubbing his thumb along the front of her hip bone. He watched her wagging finger, remembering when she had bitten his in the restaurant.

Cassiopeia blinked when the door she had just opened shuts. She turned and had to look up to see Nic properly as he towered over her. She leaned back against the door and swallowed.

"We are rather good at teasing each other," she managed to say. She didn't miss the way his hair swooped across his forehead when he scanned her from head to toe. She also didn't miss the way he stalled on the little bit of skin she had showing.

Cassi smiled and tucked her fingers under his chin to tilt his head back to look into her eyes. Cassi still had to look up at him, but she felt like she was on an even playing field with him now.

"We still have shopping, and lunch I believe," she reminded him.

Caden smirked and pulled Nero close. "I don't think you understand how large I am in my dragon form. I'm confident you wouldn't be able to make a suit," he declared.

Caden turned around and pulled Nero on to the centre of the building where the night show always played.

Avery's hand slid back up to Kimiko's hip when she turned away from him. He was worried she was going to pull away, and wanted to make sure she didn't. His eyes moved away from her lips to her flushed face and he grinned more. Her stipulation made him smile and he cocked his head to the side.

"Only one? What if I win more than one round? Shouldn't it be one outfit for every round I win? We can limit the rounds to five like a typical UFC bout," he offered her.

Cassiopeia gave Nic a bit of a look before she squirmed and batted away his hands to keep him from pinching her. "You want me to tease you more? Are you sure? I was fairly certain you were going to jump me in the kitchen," she teased him and made her way for his bedroom door.

She opened up the door and glanced back at him. "Do I need lessons or is it revenge on your part?"

Caden snorted and laughed, covering his stomach from the image Nero conjured in his head. Caden barely had time to recover from his laughter when Nero dragged them from the auditorium back to the gift shop.

"But what about the night show? Or the rest of the building for that matter." It was a rather large building with multiple exhibits that would rotate several times throughout the year.

Avery grinned when Kimiko's eyes drifted to his lips. He nearly begged her just to forget it and kiss him, but Avery was competitive at heart.

"At least one round," Avery said and nodded. He laughed when she didn't have an answer for what the prize would be, but made sure to tell him what he couldn't have.

His eyes instantly drifted to her lips, and his hand twitched where it rested on the side of Kimiko's leg. He wanted to slide it over and hold her ass, but he refrained for now.

"No riffling through the underwear drawer. What about modeling for me what's in the underwear drawer?" His eyes looked into hers briefly with a challenge before they settled on her lips again.

Cassiopeia knew the moment couldn't continue, but she desperately wished it could. Her eyes remained shut after Nic pulled away from the kiss. She tried to regulate her breathing, to calm her heart rate, but the sensation of Nic's hand's on her body continued to claw through her mind.

She opened her eyes once her feet were on the ground, and fixed Nic's hair while he fixed her skirt. Part of her was hoping he was adjusting it to gain access to the zipper to free her from the fabric. When she saw his eyes after he pulled away, she guessed he was thinking the same.

Cassi sighed and tilted her head back against the wall. ”Right. Shopping.” She had all but forgotten they decided to go shopping to get Nic an outfit for Caden's bonding ceremony. Plus lunch.

Cassi leaned away from the wall, trusting her legs to support her and brushed her hands down her skirt and fixed her sweater.

”I think you sufficiently understand the concept of teasing now,” Cassi declared.

The combination of being able to touch Nero and their scent enveloping him, kept Caden relaxed enough to watch the remainder of the show. He was even able to watch the theory section on black holes. He could admit the science behind it was interesting, as well as the formation of supernovas, but he didn't share the desire to be in a black hole like Nero.

As the show came to a conclusion, Nero scrambled back into their seat which caused Caden to chuckle.

”So I think we learned a valuable lesson today. No dragons in space,” Caden said and patted Nero's hand before he stood.

Kimiko let go of Avery's hand but he didn't let it relax. Instead, he ran his hand down her side where it came to rest on her hip. Avery smiled lazily up at Kimiko while she hovered.

He chuckled from her challenge, and let his hand slip lower. ”What's the bet?” Avery's eyes danced, anticipation at the idea of possibly winning.

Cassiopeia tightened her hand in Nic's hair when he picked her up. She wasn't expecting to be pinned to the wall, but it made her grin on his lips all the same. He held her securely, the wall keeping her stable and she wrapped her legs around his hips, tightening her legs and core to keep herself elevated.

She sighed his name, giving him the access his tongue wanted. Nic's hand's were electric on her body. A tease all on their own since she could feel them through her lace underwear but not fully, either.

Caden looked at Nero when he felt them shift, alarmed they were leaving him. As soon as Nero moved closer, Caden understood what they were doing. He relaxed, wrapping his arms around his imp. Caden rested one of his hands on Nero's leg while the other rested on their hip.

Caden buried his face in the back of their sweater, inhaling their scent before he settled and watched the screen through the curtain of Nero's hair.

”Danke.”

Avery grinned and booped Kimiko's nose with their joined hands. ”Nothing would make me happier,” he told her honestly. If she could take him down, Avery hoped that would settle him and his wolf, knowing she could more than look after herself if he wasn't around.

Cassi properly blushed when Nic said they would be missing for an hour. Part of her wanted to tease him more and ask why not longer, but she refrained.

She set down the boxes she was carrying when she heard the click of Nic's door shut. His hands were on her before she had time to turn to face him. Nic's lips moulded effortlessly to hers, and she sighed, tangling a hand into Nic's hair. The tension in her hand mirrored his hand as he groped her ass. Cass didn't mind the possessive way he grabbed and held her, if anything it was confirmation for Cassi on how much Nic was attracted to her.

Caden wrapped his arm around Nero, focusing his attention on the giant screen. Caden knew the proper protocol in public was to sit in your own seat, but Caden couldn't deny the disappointment when Nero took their own seat. The dragon had become far too attached to his imp.

As it was, he knew they recieved many eye rolls or averted stares from how affectionate they were to each other in public, but Caden didn't care. Nor did he care about the shocked looks from the appearance of an age difference. If only they actually knew.

Caden watched the show, admitting that he was impressed by the graphics and all the knowledge he was gathering. Still, when the dark parts of space showed with no real end, Caden's hand would tighten on Nero's arm. He really didn't like the open emptiness of space. The nothingness that it was.

”If I had done it with malicious intent, I'm fairly certain Caden would have killed me. At the very least put me in a coma.”

Avery looked down at Kimiko, his eyes tracing the lines of her face, memorizing the shape and the colour. ”I think you should train with Cass, though… Just for a little bit.” He didn't want to risk himself becoming overprotective for no reason again. And he didn't want to hurt Nic because he couldn't control himself.

Cassiopeia paused and watched Nic as he put on his little show for her. She laughed, following him up the stairs.

”Je peux toujours créer une barrière avec ma magie.” She became filled with nervous anticipation as she followed Nic up the stairs to his room. She wasn’t sure if he would actually attempt to ravish her from all the teasing she had done today, or if he would tease her until the point of begging.

The boards Cassi magiked to float up the stairs hovered outside Nic’s bedroom, waiting to be allowed through. She snapped her fingers, and Nic’s bedroom door opened. The boards floated inside before settling on the ground beside the patio door.

”See, magic does have its benefits.”

Caden listened and watched Nero while they walked, both fascinated and worried about them. They walked into the theatre, and Caden found a pair of seats for them. He took a seat in one and looked up at the screen.

”Maybe they’ll talk about black holes.”

Avery kept his eyes on the scenery for a long time. He ached to look at her, but he didn’t want to make her feel uncomfortable. He could feel her eyes on him, though, and eventually looked down to meet them.

”Part of me wishes you did, but another part is glad you didn’t. I deserved the punishment, but I wasn’t ready to see you. Not only did I pass out immediately after breaking the barrier, but I didn’t wake for hours. And I was beating myself up pretty badly. I don’t think I would have believed you if you said you forgave me.”

Avery shifted his weight onto one hand and lifted the other to brush Kimiko’s cheek. He ran his hand down her arm and took her hand.

Cassiopeia grinned but refrained from making any more pieces of wood fly up the stairs. Instead, Cassi walked over and picked up the boxes of screws and nails.

Cassiopeia walked over to her bag and pulled a stick out, she snapped it in half and whispered a few words before she pointed at a couple longer pieces of plywood. They started to float in the air and move towards the stairs. It was like a scene out of ‘The Magician’s Apprentice’.

”Are you sure? It’s a lot of fun. I’m sure you could sit on one of the boards,” she joked.

Caden shook his head and placed a finger on a globe that sparkled with how electricity worked. ”I don’t know much about space. As I said, my interests lay elsewhere. What do you find fascinating about black holes?”

”We’ll come back when the leaves fully change colour. The view is very picturesque then,” Avery explained. He hoped a few rocks out and took a few deep breaths before he inhaled deeply on the last one and let out a primordial yell. His shoulders sagged with relief after and he looked back at Kimiko, a lopsided grin on his face.

Cassiopeia grinned and unwrapped her arms from around Nic's neck. She rested her hands on his chest for a moment while he confessed that he had enjoyed her little show.

She laughed when he shook his finger at her and walked away. Cassi glanced down and adjusted her skirt and fixed her stockings before she left the kitchen to rejoin the others.

”Do you need help getting the materials up to the terrace?” Cassi asked Nic casually.

”Maybe you'll want something different after you've seen the shows,” Caden challenged. He released Nero and examined some of the odds and ends they had in the gift shop.

”Like the screaming rock,” Avery said with a nod. He let his arm drop from around Kimiko, missing her already even though she stood near him to get her gear on.

He laughed when she called him corny and shrugged. ”I guess, but true all the same.” Avery pulled on his jacket, grabbed the keys from the bag, and put his wallet back inside before setting the backpack in Kimiko's spot. He turned the bike on after sitting down and pulled on his helmet.

Once Kimiko was in place and ready, Avery walked the bike backwards before turning and drove forward. It took a bit longer to get to the park than the first time Avery took her only because he was driving more cautiously for her sake. Still, it was a pleasant drive. At one point, Avery had dropped his hand from the handlebar to rest on Kimiko's shin while he drove. He rubbed his hand along the side of her leg, happy she was with him.

Finally, they reached the proper turn out, and Avery parked the bike before shutting it off. He removed his helmet and breathed in the clean air. Some of the trees were just starting to change colours as autumn neared. The view would be gorgeous by October.
