Long time casual role player who loves tales of adventure! I enjoy tabletop games, play-by-post, and even LARP!
Wild (and sometimes weird) west and medieval fantasy games with an 'old-school' D&D feel are my favorite.
In real life, I'm a software engineer and wanna-be farmer. I have a little garden and some chickens that like to destroy my flower beds. But I like 'em anyway and they all have names. ;) Sometimes they lay me some breakfast.
Other hobbies include dog agility and archery.

Oh boy, at this rate this battle is going to take days.....sorry, I'm a bit frustrated right now. I keep staying up late to rp and it seems to take forever and very little happens during the day. It is upsetting my sleep schedule.
Let's give the others that aren't online right now time to be part of the fight. It may be a little slower, but I'm okay with that. :)

The sword bit into the hound's back leg, and the beast howled as it quickly turned to face its attacker, red glowing eyes meeting Jason's as bits of metal hung from it's bared teeth. Growling, it dodged to the side to avoid Jason's second slash, barely favoring the injured hind leg. With a snarl, it lunged toward the man.

I'm still pretty new here. So, I'm not sure how combats go. Do we all post once then Kelewen posts then we all post once again.
Or is it, a player post, Kelewen posts for the monster, somebody else posts, monster, one of us, ect.
I'll try to keep up, but it's totally okay if multiple people attempt to attack (or otherwise hinder) the hound. Just give me a chance to respond before assuming if it was successful or not. I'll do the same and let you each decide if attacks against your PC are successful and how much injury they cause!
His plan seemed to work as the aggressive beast lunged straight toward the tapping noise, claws outstretched...
The great hall would be barricaded by now. ;)

Did you teleport from the top of the hill or something? ;) (It would take a running person at least a little while to get back down there. Jason would really have the first action, so I'll wait for him to post before replying... )
