I think I'll try to post tonight. No promises, but I feel like I have the inspiration ready lol
Hey guys, here is the discord chat. Pop in if you wanna :) discord.gg/gw5UQ

Are y'all gonna join the Discord?!?! You should. It'll open in your browser if you don't want to download the software and you don't even need an account. It's super easy.
@Inner Demon Don't worry, you're fine! I just decided to wait on an opportunity to jump in whether it's a post from you or once the family hits the town. I'm a patient person
@OliviaV I was waiting on @Inner Demon's other character because I thought they wanted to interact. Otherwise I can just wait to post since not much else is happening.
@dabombjk Hey, why's the text on your character sheet so freakin' big??
Finally posted, thanks for the patience. <3
Cassandra's head tilted as she watched Ander ramble. Her brows furrowed as she listened--unlike the woman who seemed to be in her own headspace for the time. A frown remained on her lips as they two exchanged their own words and Kiyanna returned to fishing. Since Ander had went ahead in voicing his thoughts, she allowed herself to do the same: "A human-like wolf, then? I suppose that might explain some of the...strangeness. Regardless of what it is, though, I can't allow it to bleed out somewhere--that wouldn't be right. Or live if it's the monster the other hunters spoke of."

She eyed Kiyanna, pausing another moment. Cassandra was aware of the distinct coldness offered to strangers by the people of her village. It was better to be cold and safe than warm and harmed, though. She glanced back the way she had come from before speaking again, maintaining that cool but polite tone. "Thank you for your help," she said simply. She had almost asked for help, but the wolf could be dangerous and she didn't quite trust the two anyway. Besides, the woman didn't seem to be the most stealthy of warriors. So with that, she turned, returning her arrow to its quiver as she stepped back into the brush to pick up the trail. The two had confirmed the beast was close, so she just had to find a small lead to steer her in the right direction.

Sure enough, Cassandra's observant gaze found disturbances in the brush and forest: a faint print in the dirt or scarlet red drops on a brown leaf. She slowly came to a stop and stared ahead at a thick bush of thorns. It was clear it had been disturbed, as well: bits of bramble and brush lied scattered on the forest floor and a closer look revealed blood and fur stuck against the thorns. Slowly, she retrieved her arrow from its quiver again and knocked it against her bow--pulled but not too tight as to not exhaust herself before the wolf revealed itself.

With Ander's words of a human-like beast ringing in her mind, she found herself speaking to it despite not quite being able to see it. "Hello?"
