APPEARANCE
Riddley is tall for a woman at 5'10" / 178 cm and strong with muscle, weighing it at about 165 lbs / 75 kg. At a distance, that is the first thing people notice about her. With a closer look, her red hair and freckles dotted across her fair face and body are more obvious. She has plain brown eyes, though they burn gold when she uses her powers. Once upon a time, she wore expensive clothes and spent time to do her makeup and hair--but now she makes a point to dress down to avoid standing out. She opts to throw her straight hair into a ponytail over proper hair styling and she's rarely caught with makeup on.
ABILITIES
Fire. Riddley can create and control flames, and that comes with some perks besides the obvious: she's immune to fire and can't be burned by extreme heat. She's grown rather comfortable in warm weather and tends to have a higher body temperature than her human counterparts. As for the strength of her power, it's quite high and potentially difficult to control.
BACKGROUND
Riddley was never given a moment to rest: her parents were both powerful, driven people with lofty ambitions for her. From a young age, she was put into a variety of extracurriculars to push her to grow into a better person. She dabbled a bit in the arts, but her parents were relieved when she didn't show much serious interest in creative pursuits such as music or painting. Instead, she was drawn to things that truly made her stronger: martial arts gave her a physical edge on others and second or third languages a mental one. Even with these things taking up her personal time, she was incredibly studious and popular in (private) school--topping other students in grades and sports, even captaining the girl's soccer team in her years as an upperclassman. Riddley Storm was a force to be reckoned with, and university only made her better.
With her parents in government, Riddley was also interested in that route and her college choices reflected that. She even graduated early and stepped up to join her parents in the family business. Both were decorated CIA officers, her mother known for her leadership and her father his ruthlessness. However, she wasn't fully aware of even these vague details until after their recent deaths/disappearances.
Of the millions to vanish, Riddley and her father were among them. Of the few that returned, only Riddley was among them. She was thankful to at least have her mother, but even that didn't last long. After the first incidents and appearances of super powered humans, Riddley's mother was one of the first to act. Her mother wanted to take a tactful approach the new Invincible: being too aggressive against superhumans didn't seem to smart. And relations between the Invincible and humans would no doubt be strained--she didn't want that for her daughter. But being smart doesn't guarantee anyone's safety. In a confrontation with one of the Invincible, Riddley's mother was killed. Governments had discovered the supers, and not long after that, the public did, too.
As an operative and someone who had been vaporized, Riddley was on the government's--and consequentially--Legion's radar. She was confronted while her head still spun from losing so much in so little time. One of the many empowered incidents erupted in her own apartment when her powers manifested. As far as the public is concerned, Invincible Storm destroyed the apartment complex, the people living there, and the three local officers who confronted her over a noise complaint. The truth is that Riddley destroyed the apartment complex, the people living there, and the three Legion soldiers who tried to capture her.
Just a couple weeks later, Riddley is lying low in Georgia. While someone else in her shoes may have fled the country to hide in South America or East Asia, She seeks more than to simply survive. She wants to stand up against Legion and her former allies. Unlike the humans around her, she's powerful--all of the Invincible are. They can usher in a new world order with the strong at top the food chain. So, like a fire, Riddley Storm will consume all that's thrown at her in order to grow.
