Hello, I'm kidgoat and I deprive myself of social fun on a daily basis so I'm going to try and break that habit here. I probably won't be that talkative though I'll try my best.
Alright, got my characters in and will have a post up soon after they're approved! Second character's free to be changed up at anytime, especially if he's too off course for the mystery element.
Title: N/A Name: Dylan B. Pierce Alias: Dylan Age: 22 Gender: Male Blood Type: A+ Has your character killed?: Plenty of predators if that counts.
Characters Appearance: He stands at 5'10, with dark umber skin, a rugged face, and a head of shaven hair obscured by the Montana Crease hat that's barely saving him from the heat. His outfit is what you'd expect from a traveling cattleman, a basic fit of a button down shirt and loose fitting jeans. On top of that is the leather bag slung over his shoulder, and a holster for the revolver on his right hip.
Notable Skills:
Roping - Paired with the craftsmanship of his contractor, his versatile and impeccable skills with a lariat has saved many of their investments. So far he's been able to rope with precision.
Horseback Riding - A necessary skill if you're going to be apart of cattle driving. Though horses are what he's most comfortable with, his expertise in riding steeds could be applied to anything similar. It's a shame their horses, skittish and uneasy, scattered away to the outskirts of Fortune Found. A forewarning of what was to come.
Gun-slinging - While his experience with gunfights are not on par with the other gunslingers in his posse, he's known to be sharp and precise with his aiming.
Overall, a classic romanticized cowboy set through and through.
Special Knowledge:
Animal Husbandry - A bit hard to believe that a cattleman doesn't know how to tend to cattle, no?
Inventory Management - It helps to recognize when something that shouldn't be missing is, so much so that he usually takes notice the moment he looks. It takes more than time for the things he makes a mental check on to distort into obscurity.
Powers: None as of yet.
Characters Personality:
- Despite the stoicism intertwined in his posture and his mannerisms, he wears his feelings on his sleeve. A truthful deposition is what he packs behind his blunt remarks, and those watching closely will usually be able to see the full brunt of his emotions, ranging from disdain, to melancholy, to occasional joy. Though he doesn't care for small talk or long-winded lectures, he often finds himself invested in the stories of others.
- Someone with a lot of patience for the living, and little for the inanimate. During his time as a ranch hand, he's come to understand that anything with a mind has baggage and needs time to grow. A machine however, is something that doesn't think, doesn't change, and something that he can't fix if it doesn't work from the get go. His fuse is short for unreliable tools, hence why he wouldn't typically rely on guns or other mechanical nonsense.
- A bit of a Nervous Nelly around the unfamiliar. Fortune's End was not a place he wanted to go to, no matter how much he thought he did before. Some of the more well known folklore monsters he could grow accustomed to, however beings like Fredric will always cloud his heart with a deepening feeling of contempt and anxiety. His urge for a smoke is a telltale sign that these feelings have start to swell within him, though he's usually steers clear of cigars and opts for something lighter.
Motivations: Gold is motivation enough for many a poor soul heading out into the frontier, especially in this economy.
Personal Effects: - 30m Lariat - Aforementioned Revolver, with a small case of ammo - Extra pairs of clothes - Two packs of cigarettes given to him by the Baron, paired with a set of matches
Extra Information:
He's been traveling along with a small group that eventually dissolved as they grew closer and closer to Fortune's End. Apart of that group was the Baron, a beloved uncle of his and someone who he's owed his life to. Unfortunately, he hasn't seen him since they've arrived to Fortune Found.

Title: Name: Alias: Kangaroo Jack, Blood-Jab Joe, etc. Age: Gender: Male Blood Type: B+
Has your character killed?: Decide for yourself.
Characters Appearance: All Kanga, all roo. Nothing but a vest and some trousers to cover it all. His snarky and gnarly demeanor radiates through his posing, beckoning anyone to come try and test him.
Notable Skills:
He's taken advantage of his alleged curse, his unarmed combat obliterating any average Joe who thinks they can square up with him. And though his skills in firearms are lacking, this won't stop him from trying to get up in your face and blow your head off at point blank with his shotgun. Truly a force to be reckoned with.
Special Knowledge:
Powers: Due to his transformation, he's become a beast in close combat. His claws and kicks can shank through flesh and bone, and his jumps allow him to change the tide of a battle in his favor. But like many living beasts, there's a limit to his energy. A particularly far jump will take a great chunk out of his stamina.
Characters Personality: - Overtly cocky, overly confident, and filled with murderous glee. It's warranted given his streak of robbery and bloodshed. - He's never liked to think too hard about anything. A lot of what he does is improvisation, and never with a proper plan other than 'KICK ASS!'.
Motivations: As of yet, he's looking for a way to escape town and hightail it with a crew of his own. Why get rich off of this stupid town when the number of banks he could hit now would make him filthy rich!
Personal Effects: - Two shotguns - ???
Extra Information: - As of yet, the town has him chained up in jail. All of his personal effects are stored away seperately. How or why he isn't dead yet is a mystery.
Sorry for the silence, I've had some work tossed at me this week. Just wanted to let you know that I'll have my characters and post up sometime by Friday. Are we starting on the 'night' we've entered the saloon or the day after?
Mind if I drop in with a bug type specialist? There's only like three new regular pokemon in Paldea, but my go to types are fire and flying so it seems like a perfect challenge!
