To be fair, the tutorial area is allegedly muuuuuuuuuuuch longer than the one in DS1, so I'm not surprised about little progress in an hour

Anyway, the change I'm most hyped for is that characters aren't going to look like 12 year olds with downs by default anymore

Not going to help. I've been keeping my ear to the ground, as much as I tried to resist, and this is going to be the hardest Souls game yet.

Iunno, at the end of the beta they pretty much quadrupled the difficulty to test the ng+ difficulties and that was bearable, albeit pretty difficult

And the default beta wasn't really that much harder than the original aside from exploits being patched out like roll infinity frames and longer backstabs.

I preordered the one that was only like 5 bucks more than the standard retail edition because it comes with a few neat things and it has an amazing cover and it's only five bucks more

But fuck the $120 collector's edition
