Ugh, next week is finals week. I feel exhausted and I think I channeled that into my Jasper post XD Yup, I pooped my 3 day rule this week. Sorry TTOTT

Yes, we need to keep chugging on. Trust me, when summer break hits, I be on this forum like 24/7, spammin' this thing like a tapeworm. A freakin' parasite! RAWR!

Riley took her advice immediately as she charged at the temporarily distracted orc, throwing herself onto its face as she blasted balls of fire at tits arm band in an attempt to burn it off. It took a couple of tries, but luckily, she shot right at it and successfully burned the protection from the monster as its beloved arm band fell to the floor. Riley was then chucked off of the orc's face, Jasper gagging in her mouth as she saw the damage she had down with her staff, its eye bleeding, red fluid trailing down his cheek. Looking at Riley, she had collapsed, her amulet nearly empty. Jasper scrambled to her side immediately, pressing a hand to the girl's chest. She knew the drill, shut your eyes and focus, surge the energy into one you care about. She imagined her essence flowing out of its glass enclosure and into Riley's. Sadly, Jasper's own amulet was draining quite a bit and she was only able to give Riley's ornament enought o hit the half way point.

"That should be enough to sustain you." Heaving a sigh of relief, she turned her attention to the orc, but came face to face with ice. A wall of ice was surrounding the orc completely and Jasper knew right away who had made it. Haku always had the knack for creating beautiful, yet dangerous structures. Though she couldn't see the orc, she could hear it thrashing around within the trap, audibly trying, but failing to escape its ice jail.

"Jasper! Help Haku please!!!", Lesley yelled from atop a boulder where he was constantly blasting rainbow beams at the beast within.

Nodding her head rapidly, she ran towards where Haku looked dangerously close to passing out as well, his amulet wasn't visibly showing any essence. As she ran, she watched Leon sum up immense energy, she could see the chilly atmosphere above the ice enclosure shuddering in wavy lines as the pressure was being forcibly drawn south-bound. Brutal roars of excruciating pain rang from within the ice walls and she wished she wasn't there to listen. Death was a terrible fate whether it was a creature or a human, it still hurt her either way to witness it. Then the cries died out, crackling of thick bones and gushing noises were clearly heard and she stopped in her run to clutch her upset stomach. Horrific images of how it must've looked in there flashed through her mind and she couldn't help, but stagger to a nearby bush and throw up air. Her stomach absolutely empty, not able to release anything.

Haku looked like he was on the verge of collapsing and so did Leon. Riley was laying a little ways away on the other side of the sculpture. Lesley was the only one who looked like he was in decent shape.

“Are you guys alright? Great job, you guys! We killed our first orc.”

Stumbling to where he and Hakuren were, Jasper grabbed Leon's amulet. The life of a healer, she now knew, was not easy the least bit. she was physically and mentally drained out from regenerating essence for her team mates, but she knew that her power was vital tot heir survival. Resting her forehead on the crook of Leon's shoulder, she needed some physical support as she closed her eyes and surged his essence to one fourth. That's all she could put in because Hakuren still needed some, probably more than anyone there. His eyes looked bloodshot and scarlet fluid ramified from his lips. his skin was pale and she could swear he was looked as if he was going to die.

Jasper by now had exhausted her resources and she only had one fourth left in her own. Placing a hand on Haku's shoulder, she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him, feeling her energy float into his. Slowly, cutting her one fourth in half giving one eighth to him leaving her with half of what she initially had. at this point, Jasper was officially done. She let herself slide off of him as she fell to her knees on the ground. "Good job guys..." she lay down on the soft moss, it was so cold, yet her body felt warm. Jasper closed her eyes and let herself drift off into la la land. She slept.
Oh yeah, forgot about that! Thanks :D I'll use that in my next post.
Tried to get Jasper into some attacking action XD Too bad her staff is gone D:

Cool vids! Albinos and cat-eyed kids!

Pleased to see that they were beginning to surge some attacks at the orc, her concentration still remained steadfast onto their amulets. Riley's drained a bit when she formed those orbs of fire, but it looked as if she still had a sufficient amount remaining. As the creature barreled at them, critters within the forest were scurrying away in fear of losing their life. Lesley had obeyed her plead and ran into battle. as of now, the orc was busy slashing away at a fallen tree that had successfully blocked its path. His rainbow beams were hitting it, but didn't seem to be causing much damage. She too caught sight of the wrist band as it looked to be absorbing much of the attacks, pulling in their attempts and leaving the orc injury free.

Lesley had noticed this first as he began informing the others followed by a full on jump onto the beast's wrist as he looked as if he were trying to cut it off. The orc roared and started to flail his arm wildly as it tried to wriggle Lesley free. Its expression showed signs of alarm as well, further telling them that the band was in fact a very important "weapon" of sorts. The pink-haired man blasted a bigger stream of colors and his amulet was getting dangerously emptied as he was finally thrown off board. Fulfilling her task as healer, she closed her eyes and generated white wisps that ramified from where she sat in order to fill up his and Riley's.

To her dismay, the orc had caught sight of what she was doing and came stampeding towards her, this time on all fours with its teeth bared, its fangs reminded her of saber-tooth tigers. It snatched her up, howling into her face. Jasper could've sworn she became deaf right there and then, spit shooting into her face and its mouth smelled like decaying flesh. The hue on her face discolored into an emerald pigmentation much like the monster's. Grabbing the end of her staff, she was close enough o its face and she jabbed the stick's pointy base right into the orc's eyeball.

Yowling in pain, she let go of her object, as it was fortunately stabbed into the thing's right eye. Its grip around her loosened dramatically and she came tumbling to the ground. Getting up, her legs were a bit bruised and cut, but overall she was alive. Hurrying as quickly as her feet could take her she rejoined the group. "Come on guys, while its distracted!" she encouraged. There was no mistaking it, her power was pretty useless in offense and her only object, the staff, was now knee deep in the orc's pupil.

"I think you just saved my life. Ouch...okay...okay, I'm good...you just saved my life. You're now a hero! Oh jeez, I'm sorry. Owwww, okay! Okay! I've learned my lesson! I will obey the guides! Gah! Seriously, thank you Jasper. I like living, so I'm really thankful."

Riley looked and acted a whole lot like herself and ended up making tons of noise as she moved around with a slight pain shooting up originating from where her previous cuts had been. Wincing and cringing, Jasper was starting to feel slightly uncomfortable as she jerked around. All the commotion she was making caused birds and unknown critters to weave and skitter in and out of the bushes that surrounded them making her shudder in uneasiness. The red head had also left two bloody hand prints on her white robe and the thought of someone else's bodily fluids drying and crusting up on her shoulders just made her feel all the more out of it.

Taking a couple shuffles away from Riley who seemed to be going towards her to attempt to wipe some of it off, Jasper just shook her head with a fake grin while she backed up, "No really, its ok.. hehe." She felt relieved when Riley seemed to get the message and brought up searching for their other group mates. Nodding in agreement, it was certainly a good idea to see if there were any others who had fallen down with them... and if those individuals were still alive or not.

Ask they maneuvered through the forest, it was quite a pleasant task with the glow in the dark moss lighting up their way as they walked. It was beautiful, but kind of scary. Almost radiating a sort of haunted house aura. Not too sure on when it began, but the ground was sensibly trembling, a faint humdrum of stomping could be heard from a distance. at first, Jasper mistook it for her heartbeat, but soon the footsteps combined with the sound of trees getting cracked was becoming alarmingly loud and its proximity closing in every move they made away from it. suddenly her worst fears were answered when a terrifying “RAAAAAAAAAAGH!” thundered throughout the trees. It rustled every plantation insight, leaves fluttering to the ground and even more animals scuttling out of their hiding place away from the roar. 'That can't be good...', she was feeling sick to her stomach.

Jasper stayed even closer to Riley as they picked up the pace and soon spotted the boys through a thicket of violet foliage. Parting the bush to create an opening, the two girls shrunk back in terror as they watched a giant tree trunk coming flying towards the three males, miss, and come sailing in front of their eyes and onto its fellow trees, toppling them over like dominoes. Large roots were yanked out of the ground and Jasper was way too afraid to even look and see what kind of monster was able to even throw that thing.

Inching out of their hiding spot, Haku, Lesley, and Leon, stood in a line Haku at the front. Jasper joined the line up feeling extra safe with three other guys in front of her for added blockage. The green-skinned orc made her turn green in the face herself. Usually, Jasper wasn't one to judge, but that thing sure looked hideous. It was even clothed in a suit of armor along with a weapon and a shield. 'What's his problem? We never did anything..' It felt like everywhere the humans went, creatures wanted to fight them at every encounter. It's not like they ever really did anything to provoke an attack. Maybe that's just how Nowhere worked.

Lesley, go protect Jasper. She can’t do it herself. Oi, Bear! Heal us up every now and then when you notice we’ve gone down to two thirds of our original amount.”

Taking her spot behind Lesley, the two scurried off to the side and Jasper sat down to regenerate her own amulet to be able to provide for the others. She kept a close eye on all of their amulets, mentally devoting herself to keeping track of their essence usage. Not wanting to be a burden to Lesley and hold him back from helping with offensive attacks, she shooed him away, "Go on. I can handle myself. Put some damage on that thing!" she shoved him towards the others hoping that the orc wouldn't see her and choose her as its next target.
