Standing near the window, far enough to the side so as not to block the light entering the apartment and staring out at the city beyond the dingy pane of glass, Rider too was deep in thought. He was preoccupied with the events of last night and the two Servants he had encountered, so it was apt that his Master should ask him about them now.

“The Assassin is not what I expected; her swordplay was superb and her speed extraordinary.” Better than his own, definitely. Not to mention he was certain that she had been holding much of her strength back during the fight; neither of them had brought their Noble Phantasms to bear after all. “During our battle I never got the impression she was looking for a chance to slip away like I would expect an assassin to, though I didn’t have time to discern her full strategy. I would believe she is a swordswoman through and through where it not for her given class suggesting otherwise.” If Kazamyr hadn’t overheard the young girl call her Servant Assassin then he would have assumed she was a Saber.

“I can defeat her, depending on what tricks she has hidden away. I have ways of nullifying her advantage of speed should we face each other again; if I were to take away her agility then I believe I could best her in combat.” His strategies were based on incomplete information however and depending on the nature of his opponents Noble Phantasm could fall apart. Lancer all but giving away his identity and therefore his trump card didn’t help either.

“As for Lancer… I am certain I would lose should I try to face her. I know almost nothing about her other than her class, but I know a powerful opponent when I see one.” She had known who he was at a glance, which didn’t sit when with the father of strategy. It bothered him immensely as a matter of fact. “That and I seem to have annoyed her during our brief encounter.”

@Anza
I'm feeling good about Wartooth's chances against this mystery Saber.
Saber will be up soon! He's a canon, but a reclass. Brownie points if you can guess who~~

I'm guessing Sasaki or Cu Chulainn.
@Epsir mostly the first with a little of the third. The main effect is that the weapons and other objects rain down over an area, stabbing, slicing, piercing or just bludgeoning everyone in its AoE. The weapons do stick around for a while afterward and I suppose could be picked up an used, though what I've been told in the past is that because they don't belong to Berserker they would just effectively be normal weapons so they'd be less effective than his clubs.

It's basically a really ghetto version of the Gates of Babylon.
@Epsir Well here's the first character sheet.

I might want to add a second Noble Phantasm at some point but I can't think of any that would fit. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

I'm interested. I have a Berserker I'd like to use.
Chris received the call before the message from Pale Horse even hit MercServ. His phone began to vibrate as he walked through the deserted streets of inner London, the cloak around his shoulders making him near invisible from the back even if the sniper rifle in his hands and the open front gave him away otherwise. He answered the call.

“Mr Walton. We’ve obtained information that Pale Horse have discovered the location of one of our secure servers and are planning an attack; I’m sure they’ll send out a recruitment message on the MercServ soon and the CDA is planning to make a counter offer to defend the location instead. Can we count on your services as usual?”

Since this whole fiasco had begun Chris had worked for the CDA several times, worked for them exclusively in fact, which made his situation a little different from most of the mercenaries in the city. His loyalty didn’t depend on who was willing to pay the most at the time and that was something that was well known, even if much else about him wasn’t. He was essentially on retainer for CDA at this point, something that would end if he ever so much as considered working for Pale Horse for any reason, but for the moment it came with certain benefits; they sent information to his goggles while he was in the field, they gave him a discount on ammunition or equipment purchased from them…

“We’re offering to match what Pale Horse is paying, with advanced payment, plus a small loyalty bonus if you agree.”

… and they paid him more. It meant he could never accept an offer from Pale Horse, even if the pay was better, but that wasn’t something Chris cared about anyway.

“Send me the location. Transfer the money to the usual place.”
@KhKj I think I'm going to have to drop out of this I'm afraid. I can't get a post together no matter how hard I try and I don't want to hold this up any longer.

Sorry about this.

I'll add my interest if there's still room.
