"Oh! Thank you! This looks like it will fit perfectly! Thank you again Marygold!" Stella smiled happily at that as she took the armor that Marygold had handed to her. She figured that since it was armor she could just try it on over her clothing, and so she tugged on the armor and it did fit her perfectly. She smiled a bit at that and then relaxed as she tried to see how it felt when she was just walking around, and relaxed more to see what was going on with it. Thankfully it didn't pinch, it didn't rub, it didn't bother her, so after a bit she tugged it back off and went to put it in her backpack of items.

Stella knew that while she had the scythe her mother had given her was a good weapon, it was best to have backup. So she looked over the collection of knives, and thought of which one to pick. In the end, she picked up a fairly innocuous looking dagger and tucked it away into a sheath and then tucked that into her backpack. She did one last look around the armory and then decided that she had what she needed. "I'm ready to head out of here whenever you are, Marygold. I think I've gotten what I need." She offered her older half sister a small smile at that point.

Stella nodded at that and then smiled a bit as she looked at the Iris camper. "Thank you for all your help." She gathered up her backpack and then looked over at Marygold and smiled at her. "Oh do you think they'll have armor in my size? That's good to hear." She walked out of the camp store with her towards the Camp Armory, and then started to lift her left hand to her lips and started to chew on her fingernails. She didn't realize that she was doing it at all, as it really was an unconscious habit of hers. She mostly was nervous at that point, as it was becoming clear that she was over her head a bit.

Once they got to the armory, she started looking around to see if there were any knives or armor that stood out to her. She did notice the crate that in was back that was covered with a blanket, and that caught her attention. She walked to the back of the armory, and then pulled the blanket off the crate and looked at what was inside. It seemed to be an assortment of items, but none of them really spoke to her. Sure, they did seem special, but none of them seemed right to her. She replaced the blanket over the crate and then head over to the wall of knives and looked it over.

Stella did sigh a little when the Iris camper told her that she would have to get a knife or anything like that from the armory, but she simply accepted that was what she would have to do. She did still have the scythe, but having something else would be a good idea. Maybe also a small shield would be nice, but she doubted that would work with what she was thinking. She tucked all her things into the backpack and then paused a bit as the weight of it settled onto her shoulder, reminding her that this was really happening. She was about to go on a quest, out to California, to go fight monsters and help the Romans with their lost camp.

"Hmm?" She turned to look up at Marygold, almost not hearing the question. "Oh, yeah I got everything I need here then, aside from the things I need to get from the armory." She turned her attention back to the Iris camper and then offered her a smile. "Thank you for your help!" She turned back to Marygold and slung the other strap of the backpack over her other shoulder. "Can you show me where the armory is before we go back to meet up with everyone we're going on our quests with?"

Stella tried to keep track of each thing Marygold was suggesting she made sure she had, and for a moment she mentally cursed herself for not having something to write it on. That was what one of her teachers had told her to do when her ADHD was flaring up so badly, though now she understood it was due to the fact she was a demi-god. Did that also explain why it was so hard to read sometimes? She wasn't sure. She realized her mind had wandered a bit, but she did catch the bit about being able to make her own food and chuckled at that. It probably wasn't that funny, but for Stella the image of being able to summon up some strawberries while on the run was kind of amusing.

"Well, um... a few things. Maybe first a bag so I can put everything in? Then an extra weapon, some food, some clothing..." Stella rattled off the list that Marygold had given her, and then once the Iris girl had shown her were each of the things were she started to gather. She picked up a backpack first so that she could toss everything in as she acquired it, and so she knew where it was. She did wrinkle her nose a bit at the bright orange shirts that she was given as camp clothing, as orange didn't suit her, but she couldn't argue. Clothing was clothing, and she might need back up shirts. She did make sure to tuck in the first aid kit in the front backpack pocket, as well as the little compass she took from one of the shelves. Yes, in theory she knew where she was going, but she wanted to make sure they didn't get too lost.

Stella blushed a bit as she realized most of her questions were answered by his announcements, and she looked to the side a bit. She couldn't really help her curiosity sometimes, as it demanded to be answered right then and there. She needed her answers, and she had gotten some information that wasn't in the announcements and she knew that she didn't need to trade money for money, so she could hang on to the money she had. Yes, she did still feel bad for asking him before the announcements, but she had said she was willing to wait till afterwards. She looked to Marygold as she spoke and then nodded at her words.

"Lets go to the store then... it seems that one of the people I'm questing with isn't even here yet." She headed to the store with Marygold, and also said her good bye's to Eva before they headed off. At the store, she greeted the person that had opened it up for them and thanked them. She started browsing the supplies, and looked them over. How was she going to decide which ones were the ones that she needed? She knew food, water, and clothing were important, so she picked out those first, then followed that with a first aid kit, and some of the food they pointed out was healing food. She turned to Marygold and paused a bit. "Is there anything else I should make sure to grab?"

Stella looked up at Marygold as she answered her question about methods of traveling and smiled a bit at that. Flying wasn't out of the question, but it seemed that it would be buses most likely. Stella honestly didn't mind buses, she rode them back home in San Francisco, and they were alright, as long as you never took a seat and just avoided looking people in the eyes. Or at least that's how the buses in SF seemed to work to her at least.

She turned her attention to Chiron as he spoke and she did seem to relax at that. She wouldn't need to exchange her money for drachmas, they would provide her with some, for both her supplies as well as for travel costs, as well as real world money as well. That did mean that she wouldn't have to tap into the money that her fathers had sent her on her way with. She would keep that on her, however, just in case. She did listen to his announcements at that point, as they were somewhat similar to what he had just told her. She nodded and then looked to Marygold. "Whenever you're ready, shall we head to the camp store?"

Stella squeaked a bit as Chiron turned to address her, asking her what he could help her with. She had expected him to make then announcements first, as she said before. But it seemed that a few people that were on quests were not there, and so he was asking her what she needed. She gathered her thoughts back up as she looked up at him, and then took a deep breath before launching into her questions, which was turning into more than just the one.

"Well if we have time before you give out the announcements, I had a few questions about drachmas and money. I don't have any of them, and I was told that they would be needed to get supplies from the store as well as I might need to use them on the quest. So is there anyway that I can exchange like dollars for drachmas, or is this something I should have gotten from my mother or, on the trip?" She looked up at the centaur and waited for his answer, hoping that she could exchange the money... but also she had a few other questions. "I was also curious about how we would be getting to San Francisco? Are we flying or is this going to be a bus trip? I didn't mind the bus before but it takes so long, and I got the feeling these quests were urgent, right?"

"Okay! Let's go talk to Chiron then if there is a surplus that I can tap into then." Stella smiled a bit at that as she finished her meal and then stood up and looked at Eva. "Thank you again so much, Eva. I really do appreciate all your help and if I don't see you before I leave, I'll make sure to tell you everything when we get back." She grinned at that and then looked at Marygold, and waited for her to be ready to go head to over to the centaur.

As luck would have it, it seemed that Chiron wanted to talk to everyone that was heading out on a quest as it was, so that was a good thing for them that they wanted to talk to him. She looked up at Marygold and grinned a bit at that as they walked over. "Hello Chiron, once you're done with announcements can I ask you about a few things?" She grinned a bit at that as she waited for him to reply to them as well as to make his announcements.

"Oh if you're going to the store too then I would love to head over there together. Thank you Marygold." Stella's smile brightened a bit more at that, as thankfully she wouldn't be going alone. She did listen as both Marygold and Eva explained to her how it worked, and she did pause as she was told that they used Drachma, instead of money. That did make sense, but at the same time it wasn't like she had drachma laying around.

"Is it possible to exchange money for Drachma at the store or somewhere? I have some cash that my dads gave me before I left, so I can use that. However, I don't really have drachma." Stella finished munching on the piece of toast she had been munching on and then finished her tea. She was mostly finished eating by this point, but she was going to wait for Marygold to show her where the store was, as well as she was waiting for an explanation of if she could exchange money for drachma. Once Marygold was done, she would be ready to head over to the store.

Stella smiled a bit at Mary's words before taking another sip of her tea and relaxing a bit more. She did pause a bit at that point as Eva set a few seeds on the table and grew them. She watched with interest as the flowers grew, twisting into an ornate twist into a bracelet. Stella smiled as she picked it up and then put it on her wrist, as it was fitted for her. "Thank you Eva, it's beautiful." She did have a feeling it was more than just good luck, as they were more plants that she could manipulate to her uses. She did have her bag of seeds, and the scythe, but this was helpful as well.

She gently admired the bracelet a bit and then turned back to her breakfast at that point. She wasn't sure what else she could add to the conversation but she remembered something she did want to ask about. "So when I go to the camp store for supplies, do I need to tell them what I need, or will they know what I need if I tell them that I'm going on a quest? Also... do I have to pay for it? I have some money left, but I'm not sure if that's what we use here."
