No announcements were happening yet. That irritated Andy. They could have had a few more moments of peace. She sighed and took a seat waiting to see what would be discussed.

Andy looked around the Pavilion to see what was going on. There were a few clumps of people here and there. She saw her brother sitting with Zeke and Kristin. They seemed to be having some sort of deep quiet conversation. The type Andy didn't feel like it would be good to interrupt. She also saw Kiera and Leda standing near a few others.

She should apologize. She knows she heard Leda talk to them but had been distracted and wanted to have a conversation with Arthur in private. Something that seemed almost impossible. She bit her lip and decided to stay put with Arthur instead. She'd apologize later.

What was Chiron waiting for?

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Dining Pavilion
Skills: N/A

Kristin looked between Zeke and Demetri a little bit more as Zeke seeing Demi leaning against Zeke was kind of cute actually as she turned to look over at the Aphrodite table, Theresa hadn't spotted the two of them just yet. Though she had a feeling that they'll find out sooner rather than later. "You should make it official or something then, before Theresa and the other Aphrodite kids start either gossiping or trying to steal one of you." Kristin said, the children of Aphrodite always tended to always stick their noses into other people's relationships. "I can leave the two of you alone if you'd like or something if i'm ruining your guys' moment or something." Kristin said to the two of them she was more than fine with going back to sitting with her other siblings.

Dean listened to Cassian as he started to talk about what his thoughts were on the Roman's sure they did have their own problems and he could understand that they had all lost their home and way of living was always pretty hard. He was curious about the one Roman that he talked about and wanted to know a little bit more. "Which Roman is that?" Dean asked he thought about going over to see if he could learn some of their training they always seemed to be pretty organized and everything.

"Sounds good to me, just let me know whenever you want to go there or if you want some company in general as well to i'm fine with that." Jace said to Janelle giving her a smile as his attention turned over towards Jason as he thought for a moment and gave a slight shrug. "He'll probably tell the quest goers where they'll be going and what not or something. And I think he mention last night about something to help the Greeks and Roman's sending one of their own to help with communication or something like that." Jace told Jason as he took a sip of his drink as Chiron decided to answer Stella's questions.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Poseidon Cabin
Skills: N/A

Chiron smiled looking down at Stella as Mary came up shortly behind her. "We will provide you the drachmas that you'll need for your quest so we have you covered for that. As well as real currency for mundane things from food to money for tickets if you choose to travel. That was also part of the announcements that I was going to make." Chiron told her as he started to think for a moment. There were a lot of ways to travel to get from one location to another, usually it did require some form of money as well. "Argus will provide you a ride to New York City, from there you can travel by bus, train, air or sea to whatever destination your quest takes you. Also all quests should be considered urgent, given that everything that has happened so far." Chiron answered the other question for Stella.

Kiera turned her attention over towards Andy and Arthur again as the two of them came back into the dining pavilion, Leda had gotten pretty quiet looking at her girlfriend seeing her still eating some more. She waved the two of them over to see if they wanted to sit again or not that was totally up to them as Chiron continued to do his thing. Chiron looked around the dining pavilion, the three Roman's two of which were going on quests hadn't come back yet. He sighed he know that the other kids were eager to get back to their usual routines for the day. "I won't keep any of you here any longer. For those who are going on your quests, please relay to the ones that aren't here if you can afterwards." Chiron said as he looked at the group of kids before him and continued.

"Argus will be waiting for you all whenever you are ready to depart and he'll take you to the city and drop you all off there just report at the enterance to the camp when you are all ready. And the second thing, all camp councilors if you don't mind reporting to the Big House, to help further communication with both Camps to vote in names for each camp's liaison. The Roman Praetor's or any member of the senate are welcome to join in us there as well to. I believe that is all for now, and you are all now free to go on about your day." Chiron said.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Beach
Skills: N/A

Nancy heard Niah's offer to switch places with her, a sentiment quickly echoed by Mads. Some base instinct of Nancy's cried out for her to accept the deal, to allow anyone else to go to the Lotus Hotel and Casino, but her more dominant nature knew it was wrong. As terrified as she was of that place, as traumatized, as weak as she felt... how could she ask her friends to go there? And if she were to deny fate, why not deny it all together and have none of them make that journey? "No no no no no no no," Nancy replied, her crying still uncontrollable. "You can't go." She wasn't emotionally coherent enough to explain her thoughts to her friends - to tell that that they weren't in the prophecy, that it was her, and that they couldn't do anything.

She couldn't explain to them how she wasn't the only one who was helpless, forced to play the part that the Fates decreed - they were just as trapped and stuck as she was.

Nancy forced herself up into a seated position, hugging her knees to her chest. "It has to be me. You can't switch with me," she sobbed. "But I refuse. The gods be damned. I can't. I can't do this. They can't ask me to do this - they can't ask me to go." She buried her face in her knees, her large curly hair helping to hide her. "You two should go without me. I'm cursed. Like some grody tragic figure of old."

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Camp Half-blood: Dining Pavilion

Leda chuckled slightly at Kiera volunteering her leftovers. "Very sweet of you, babes. Does your mum know about me?" she then asked. Kiera had been mentioning her mum on and off, whereas Leda didn't honestly think much about her mortal mother. She wasn't particularly close with her godly mother either, despite all of the time Leda dedicated towards worship of the Greek gods. Iris wasn't the most close of people, always dashing off from one thing to the next, so it wasn't like Leda spent a lot of quality bonding time with her. Brief conversations tended to be the norm between them. "Usually Argus gives us a lift into town, 'tho sometimes the older campers just borrow the van and use it pretty much the entire quest, not very often though."

Leda shrugged slightly. She figured information like that was probably things Chiron was about to give them all, and things might have changed since the last quest Leda had been on - not that it had been too long ago, just a year or two. Chiron then made his announcements and as Leda expected, he pretty much answered Kiera's one question. "Shall we go fetch our quest buddy and get this show on the road?" Leda asked Kiera.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Dining Pavilion: Zeus Table -- Camp Half-Blood
Skills:

Ezekiel looked back at Demetri when he gasped and Zeke smirked. He was starting to enjoy catching Demi off guard. He chuckled when Demetri whispered that he wouldn’t mind a relationship with Zeke.
”Yes, I didn’t think you would. We can talk about it when we walk to the Infirmary,” he said. Ezekiel looked back at Kristin and was once again surprised by her kindness and lack of harassment. Zeke was expecting something, he wouldn’t think her homophobic if she teased him just a bit. After all, Zeke was always very vocal about how much he hated the big three. Not to mention how much he flirted with the girls of this camp.
”I’m not worried about rumors,” Zeke said and looked around the dining pavilion, looking at Aphrodite table last before looking back at Kristin. ”Don’t worry about it, Kris. Demi and I will talk after Chiron dismisses us.” Shortly after that, Chiron started talking again. Ezekiel noted that his half-sister as well as her minions were missing from the meeting. Part of him was annoyed by that, especially after all the bullshit yesterday but another part was worried. Chiron dismissed them and Ezekiel stood after untangling his leg from Demetri.
”Come on, let’s go walk and talk. See you later, Kristin.” Zeke moved away from the table and waited for Demetri before heading for the infirmary.

Stella looked up at Marygold as she answered her question about methods of traveling and smiled a bit at that. Flying wasn't out of the question, but it seemed that it would be buses most likely. Stella honestly didn't mind buses, she rode them back home in San Francisco, and they were alright, as long as you never took a seat and just avoided looking people in the eyes. Or at least that's how the buses in SF seemed to work to her at least.

She turned her attention to Chiron as he spoke and she did seem to relax at that. She wouldn't need to exchange her money for drachmas, they would provide her with some, for both her supplies as well as for travel costs, as well as real world money as well. That did mean that she wouldn't have to tap into the money that her fathers had sent her on her way with. She would keep that on her, however, just in case. She did listen to his announcements at that point, as they were somewhat similar to what he had just told her. She nodded and then looked to Marygold. "Whenever you're ready, shall we head to the camp store?"

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Dining Pavilion
Skills: Shapeshifting

It was amazing how full of himself Zeke could be. I didn't think you would? Normally that sort of arrogance would push Demetri further away, but somehow Zeke managed to make it work for him and it just made him seem that much more attractive. At this point Demetri's face was fully blushed and the heat from all the embarrassment and hormones was making him hot. He wanted to lift his head up, let the cold air hit his skin and help cool him down. But then they'd both see just how bad he'd gotten in such a short amount of time thanks to Zeke and Kristin.
He sounded so confident while talking to Kris, something Demi could never do. He finally looked up, glancing over towards the Aphrodite table as he wished that their mother nor them would get involved. Growing up Demi had read many Greek tales, and he couldn't recall a single one that mentioned Aphrodite that didn't also put complications along the path of the relationship.

Chiron had begun speaking once again, having seen how long it took for the others to arrive and not wishing to hold the other campers hostage because of them. That did, of course, mean that someone had to play messenger with the Romans and hope that this time the messages would go through. Demetri had hardly been able to touch his food, most of it mostly eaten by others. That didn't concern him at the moment though, as Zeke untangled himself and began to head towards the infirmary. Demi quickly got his plate and mouthed an apology towards Kristin as he dashed towards the flames and tossed the entire meal into it before hurriedly following behind Zeke.

A part of him wanted to reach out and grab his hand, hold it like they did in the infirmary. It was only fitting that would be where they talked about all this, it was after all where it all began. Demetri caught up to Zeke, gently tapping his knuckles against his, hinting at what he wanted but leaving the choice ultimately to Zeke. "Alright, so walk and talk. Good, because I'm not gonna lie mate I'm a little bit confused and flustered." Much of the red had begun to fade, leaving only a band of pink that stretched from cheek to cheek. "If you want to date me then why did you nudge me off of you? And is this like a public thing or private or…" Demi had so many thoughts running through his mind that it almost felt blank. He felt as if he had a million questions only to come up empty when he tried to think of one.

Cassian Rudenko

Location: Dionysus Table
Skills:

Cassian pursed his lips at the new question. It was probably bad that the name had slipped out from his tongue, or had he ever even learned it in the first place? He'd decidedly set that question aside for later. Cass looked down at his plate of food, thinking of how best to answer his brother before letting out a reluctant sigh. "From what I've heard, one of the Roman has contracted a curse created by Zeus himself. The curse of lycanthropy. To my knowledge there is no known cure. But I personally don't see reason as to why that should deter anyone from attempting to find one."

Cassian looked back up at Dean, looking into his eyes and then past them as he began to think. "I can only assume there's a handful of ways to go about it. Either by imploring the gods to speak to Zeus and see if he is able to remove the curse, though given the state of things I find that hard to pull off, or perhaps see if the gods could offer us a quest. Something to lead us to a remedy to help rid her of her curse. It isn't hers to bear, so why should she? But then there's the issue of her being Roman. I'm not sure if that would complicate things, given that Zeus isn Jupiter and all that." Cassiam hadn't considered the duality of the gods too much. But now he was beginning to wonder if that could play a part into all this.

Arthur Stanford

Location:ining Pavilion
Skills: N/A

Arthur listened as Chiron spoke, and grimaced for a moment. something didn't really feel right about him technically being a camp councilor, especially for voting matters. Some other cabins had dozens of members, and hopefully the councilors would roughly accountable to each of them for their respective cabins. He was, oddly enough, accountable to nobody, and wielded as much power as any of the others. Whatever, he thought, he'd at least get to have some say in camp affairs, that made up, a little bit, for being able to be sent on missions whenever fate fancied.

He looked over at Andy and shrugged. The two of them, as a couple, probably wielded more political power at the camp than any other two campers. That was something he hadn't really considered. With that, the two of them might be able to make significant impacts on the status quo here, but he'd need to spend more time thinking on it to come up with how that might be useful to them later on. For now, they at least got a little more time together, as they'd have to go vote together. He wasn't expecting that, and so he was pretty happy in the moment. "Ready to go when you are." He said, smiling.

Jason and Janelle Gauger

Location: Dining Pavilion
Skills: N/A

Janelle nodded her head, still smiling slightly with Jace's words. Of course, it also helped draw her attention from a few other thoughts going through her head with regards to other people currently. She wasn't going to voice her thoughts too openly about that thing, but if people had been paying attention to her words or how she acted, it would have likely been plainly obvious, at least she would have thought. Her brother was partially distracted with the whole "impending quest thing" so she could understand him not paying attention to anything that might be going through her head.

Jason listened to what Jace was saying with regards to what Chiron likely was going to announce in general, and figured he might be right about that. Personally, he hadn't been entirely too sure what to expect, he'd never been on a quest, so finding out as much as possible about how things might work for it. "Well, dat'll be useful infahrmation," he commented with a shrug, looking to see what it was that Chiron might want to say to the group.

She listened as Chiron made his announcements as he commented about those going on quests to pass the info along to the others who weren't there, since clearly he wasn't going to wait for them forever. His words were just going over her head a bit, since most of the announcements were directed towards those for the quests or the camp counselors, not for those who fell into neither of those categories. So Janelle was just sort of listening to the words that were being spoken more then anything.

Unlike his sister, he was listening a bit more closely, since this did sort of apply to him for the most part. Chiron was explaining how the group was going to be transported away from the camp. After all, they couldn't exactly walk all the way from the camp to the city in general or whatever right? After all was said, Jason was sort of wondering where the three Romans had wandered off to. "Wahnder where de Romans who are goin ahn de quests went ahff to..." he couldn't help but comment out loud.

Marygold Isley

Location: Dining Pavilion
Skills: N/A

Mary wasn't surprised at all when Chiron told Stella that her questions for the most part involved what he was going to say during his announcements. Usually there was a slight mention of how travel was likely going to work, or something like that, so it wasn't entirely surprising that he was saying something about it. He did explain the whole money thing a little better then she had managed to, though right now another thought crossed her mind, and that was where were the Romans that were going to be involved?

She was pulled a bit from her thoughts for the moment though with Stella making her comment about heading for the camp store whenever she was ready once the announcements were over. "Yup, I'm ready to head that way right now, let's get going and then we can see about meeting up with the people we're questing with afterwards alright?" she said to Stella with a bit of a smile, before she started heading out of the dining pavilion towards the camp store, figuring that Stella from the sounds of it would follow after her.

Andy nodded. She'd remember everything so she could tell Mads and Niah later. She frowned and then a smile burst onto her face. Officially she was the Head Camper of the Zeus cabin so she had to make the vote. We'll she'd have to do that before they left for their quest.

"Let's go put in our vote and then I'll find Aunt Mads and let her know what Chiron said." She told Arthur. "Do we need to go to the Big House or think we can just tell Chiron here who we vote to be the go-between?" She asked uncertain. "And who do you think it should be? I can think of some hard no's." If this person was supposed to work with the Romans she knew someone like Cassian was a bad idea.

"You're one of my best friends. You matter more to me in the whole world than anything else. I would defy the gods for you." Niah said seriously. "I will not leave you behind." She placed her hand gently on Nancy's back now that she was sitting up.

It was more than unfair what was being asked of Nancy. This was abuse. Pure and simple this was torture. She had never been so mad at the whole situation before. Niah wanted to save New Rome she wanted to protect Nancy and Mads. And everything felt so far out of reach. So impossible. She was ready to abandon saving New Rome if it meant she could protect Nancy and Mads. Forget the city. Her friends were more important.

Even with that a part of her knew how selfish that thought was. She knew that thousands relied on New Rome and abandoning it was unjust. But her heart was drifting away from it.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Dining Pavilion

Kristin nodded slightly towards Zeke and Demi and started to smirk a little bit and decided to tease the two of them a little bit before they left. "Alright you love birds don't have to much fun in the Infirmary now." She said to the two of them just as the two left they'd be able to hear her to. Kristin sighed slightly as she leaned back slightly bored now as she was left by herself now, as she looked around the announcements were all done now. She decided to go over and try the climbing tower for now, she wasnt going on any of the quests and she wasnt a councilor either which gave her the rest of the day to do whatever she wanted to do.

Jace leaned back slightly as he listened to the announcements and sighed slightly he was the Ares' cabin councilor after all and they did have the duties as well to. "I'm not sure really either they should have been here when they started." Jace said as he turned to look at Janelle. "I have to go and do the whole voting thing or whatever, but i'll meet you at the climbing tower later." Jace told Janelle as he got up looking over at his half-brother. "I wish you good luck on your first quest, bring me back a cool souvenier to if you can." Jace said patting Jason on the shoulder as he started to follow the other cabin councilors over towards the Big House.

Dean started to listen to Cassian as he started to talk about the one Roman and the curse he knew a little bit about werewolves at least whenever it came to the movies and what not. The gods especieally Zeus wouldn't really even really help since he knew Zeus to be really cruel at times. "I'm not sure what Zeus or Jupiter or whatever could do to help i'm pretty sure he won't remove the curse from just anyone." Dean said, as he listened to Chiron and stood up looking at Cassian. "I should get going but meet up with you later yeah?" Dean asked him.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Poseidon Cabin

Kiera smiled towards Leda and nodded towards her girlfriend. "Yep whenever I can Iris Message her from time to time I may have mentioned you to her a few times." Kiera said to her girlfriend, she hadn't really gotten the chance to go and get her driver's license though since coming here. She made a note whenever she was home next time she'd work on getting at least her permit sometime over the summer, Kiera then smacked herself on the forehead. She was the only one in the Poseidon cabin that did make her pretty much the head councilor there, as she looked at Leda. "I forgot I do need to go to that meeting thing or whatever to vote for the liaison thing since Arthur will be there I can drag him over whenever it's done unless you wanna wait for us or something?" Kiera said to Leda.

Eva looked over towards Stella and Mary and quickly waved goodbye to the two of them. "I'll see you later today Mary, and Stella good luck on your quest." Eva told her before leaving the dining pavilion and making her way over towards the Big House where the other head cabin councilors were all going. Over at the camp store it was just opening up for the day as one of the children from the Iris Cabin was opening up the store turning to see Stella and Mary. "Hey there." They said giving the two girls a wave before allowing them into the store. Tammy stopped for a moment listening to Andy as she was about to pass the two of them and figured she could answer the question. "We all usually meet up in the Big House for councilor meetings and what not." Tammy said before speeding off to the Big House with the others.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Beach

Madalyne quickly pulled Nancy into a tight hug, she really hated to see her best friend like this, and she would do whatever she could to protect her and Niah as well to. "You are not cursed Nancy, if anyone thats cursed it is me I have to shift every single full moon no matter what and forced changes are the worse. And i'm always going to be destined for Tartarus no matter what." Madalyne said trying to cheer Nancy up somewhat as she pulled Niah into a hug as well to, she wasnt sure the timeline for their quests actually were really. "I'm not ever going to leave you alone to do all of this by yourself at all. The gods can go fuck themselves for now." Madalyne said, she was tired of being used as a tool for the gods all the time, and even thought about going to join the Hunters with Nancy after all of this was said and done.

She didnt even care that the Greeks were all waiting for them at the moment, she wasnt even a Praetor anymore as of this morning and didnt have any kind of duties that came with it either. So she would spend whatever time she had with Nancy and Niah for as long as she could before leaving on this quest.

Stella blushed a bit as she realized most of her questions were answered by his announcements, and she looked to the side a bit. She couldn't really help her curiosity sometimes, as it demanded to be answered right then and there. She needed her answers, and she had gotten some information that wasn't in the announcements and she knew that she didn't need to trade money for money, so she could hang on to the money she had. Yes, she did still feel bad for asking him before the announcements, but she had said she was willing to wait till afterwards. She looked to Marygold as she spoke and then nodded at her words.

"Lets go to the store then... it seems that one of the people I'm questing with isn't even here yet." She headed to the store with Marygold, and also said her good bye's to Eva before they headed off. At the store, she greeted the person that had opened it up for them and thanked them. She started browsing the supplies, and looked them over. How was she going to decide which ones were the ones that she needed? She knew food, water, and clothing were important, so she picked out those first, then followed that with a first aid kit, and some of the food they pointed out was healing food. She turned to Marygold and paused a bit. "Is there anything else I should make sure to grab?"

Ezekiel smirked at Kristin’s comment, glad she was teasing him about the whole thing. He was worried he had broken her with his announcement. Demetri and Ezekiel left the dining pavilion and headed for the infirmary when Demi spoke. His fingers brushed against Ezekiel’s and he debated taking his hand. Ezekiel didn’t have an issue with hand holding, he just didn’t need the rest of it in public.
”Well, I’m not much of a PDA person, so that’s why I pushed you off. Plus, we haven’t discussed what we are so I didn’t particularly want to be harassed by everyone in the dining pavilion when we aren’t on the same page. That being said, I’ve been thinking a lot about it, more so last night and I think ya, why not go public with us. When you gave me those gifts last night, I realized how much I like you. No one has done what you have done for me without expecting anything in return.” Ezekiel looked ahead as he spoke to Demetri, feeling out of his element with how he was speaking so he didn’t want to see Demetri’s face. Ezekiel was a huge flirt but he wasn’t one to talk about his actual feelings to people like this.
They reached the infirmary and Ezekiel risked a look at Demetri to see how he was processing the information. He rested a foot on the step and his arm on the railing, while he waited for Demi’s response.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Beach
Skills: N/A

Nancy shook her head. She didn't want to drag Niah down with her. Niah needed to go and live her life, she didn't need to experience the wrath of some asshole gods. The same was true for Mads - Nancy was still holding out hope that Apollo would return with a cure for Mads. Mads giving the middle finger to the god of prophecy probably wasn't a recipe for success. As Mads pulled her into a tight hug and reminded Nancy of her curse, Nancy's mind only became more determined. She couldn't let her friends sacrifice their lives for her. But she also couldn't go to the Lotus Hotel and Casino. Both options were impossible - they couldn't go and she couldn't go, but someone had to... And unfortunately, the prophecy hadn't shown Niah or Mads there. Nancy had witnessed things through her own eyes and assumed that the prophecy meant that she would have to go.

"No," Nancy sniffled, even as her body was shaking. "You're both going to go do your quests. You're going to survive and bring glory to New Rome. And we're going to save you, Mads," Nancy said. "I swear it on the River Styx, we're going to win." She paused. Even as she held onto Mads like a lifeline, Nancy could feel the distance space and time would impose on them, one way or another. "I'll find another way for myself. I'll... I won't go back there. They can't make me. But you both have to go on these quests. There isn't a choice to be made there except for you to go."

"Maybe I can appeal to Lady Diana... If it means leaving New Rome for the Hunt now, then so be it." Even as she said that though, Nancy was filled with guilt. She didn't want to abandon her people - or see her friends go into that horrible, monstrous Hotel on her behalf.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Leda groaned slightly, realizing that Kiera had to go that meeting. She really wanted to get going on their quest, but Arthur had to participate in it as well. She couldn't help but be a little impatient and fidgety - it was the pre-quest excitement and nerves. "Fiiiiine," Leda sulked. "I s'pose you're right and you have to go natter away about what poor sap has to hang with the Romans," Leda admitted. She wasn't the head counselor for the Iris Cabin, so Leda didn't share that responsibility. And as they had already gone to the camp store, Leda didn't have any supplies that she needed to grab. She was already to go and she was dreading how long Kiera and Arthur's meeting might take.

"I'll walk over there with ya, and then find something to do. Maybe I'll throw some rocks at the water or something, dunno." Maybe she could read? But she didn't want to get too into a book at the moment - she tended to binge read rather than slowly pace herself, so starting just to stop less than an hour or so later would be irritating. Maybe she could bother her siblings? But she didn't really feel like that either - she talked to them all the time.

Demi's head sunk into his shoulders with a twinge of embarrassment at Kristin's comment. He quickly shook it off, focusing on the questions at hand. When Zeke finally began to speak, he made sure to try and listen intently. Back at school they had had morning announcements talking about PDA, what it was, and how it shouldn't be done. Turns out it didn't stand for the hunky Paul David Anderson, nor did it mean it was a Personal Digital Assistant. Demi never expected those silly owning announcements to actually come in handy someday. After all, he never expected that someone would be willing to get close enough to him to not only know him, but actually like him enough to be in a relationship. He was just the tall, lanky, pale kid with no friends. Worse off he had the ability to shift and had no idea why, though he knew it should stay hidden.

But here he was, side to side alongside a golden haired jock whose eyes shot bolts of lightning down his spine. Whose touch sent shivers crawling across his skin, and whose smile could melt even the coldest of hearts. But as Zeke finished talking, Demi couldn't help but falter in his step. Stopping dead in his tracks as he watched Zeke walk on, the words he'd just spoken dancing through his mind. No one has done what you have done for me without expecting anything in return. For a moment, it was as if he could see a glimpse into Zeke's past, he could feel the layers of emotion behind those words. He understood the weight of what he'd done for the time since giving him the gift. Demetri didn't know what to say, but before he knew it a moment of silence clung to the air and he realized that his mouth was slightly agape.

Demi took a half step forward, the ground sloshing beneath his foot as he froze again. He wanted to run up to Zeke, to hug him and hold him tightly, but he also wanted to respect his boundaries and didn't know how far was too far in terms of PDA. "Tch. You make it really hard not to want to show some affection when you talk like that Kel." He said wagging a finger towards the son of Apollo. "I'd love nothing more than to just run up there and hug the ever loving shite out of you, but I'll respect your boundaries." Demetri moved closer to Zeke, taking on the first step so as to match eyesight with him. "But as soon as we're out of sight, you're getting the biggest kiss you got that?" It was a playful threat, one accompanied by the biggest grin Demi had ever had the pleasure of displaying.

Cassian Rudenko

Location: Dionysus Table
Skills:

Cassian let out a slight groan as Dean had to leave for the meeting. On one hand he was glad to have that subject changed and dropped. On the other hand, he had no clue as to what he should be doing now. He looked around the Dining Pavilion, scanning faces and searching for a sign of something to do. Quite a few campers seemed to be heading towards the Big House for the big meeting and vote for the liaison between Roman and Greek camps. The idea alone caused his eyes to involuntarily roll. The Romans couldn't even bother to join them for breakfast, and their leader was so adamantly against his aid. None of it made sense, but he tried to shove the thoughts aside.

Finally Cassian's gaze landed on Leda. Her girlfriend would be attending the meeting, being the only child of Poseidon at camp, and from the looks of it she didn't seem raring to go shopping. Her necklace held four beads, which meant that she was most likely always prepared to go on a quest. Cassian himself tried to keep his own supplies on the off chance he was ever picked for one. He said his goodbyes to Dean, making his way over towards Leda with his best smile. "Hey, Leda right? Might having a bit of a friendly spar before you go off on your Quest? Could help loosen up your muscles while the rest of your team decides the liason?" He wasn't sure if she would take him up on his offer, or if he'd be any good at fighting someone who could move so far. But if anything this would help him train his eyes against faster opponents.

Arthur Stanford

Location:Dining Pavilion -> Big House
Skills: N/A

Arthur made a face, "I think we need to go to the Big House." He said, mildly annoyed. Chiron was right here, after all, and he understood that vote needed some expectation of privacy, but he could just write it down on a piece of paper or something. He shrugged; institutions weren't exactly known for their efficiency, so much as their endless devotion to bureaucracy. i's needed to be dotted and t's needed to be crossed, after all, so it wasn't like they could just do things, they had to go to the special place and do it, lest the heavens fall.

In any case, the walk to the Big House gave him more time with Andy, so he was mildly annoyed at the situation, but happy about who he was in it with. "Yeah, there are a few hard no's that come to mind." He agreed, wanting perhaps nothing more than to avoid a situation with Cassian had any modicum of power. "I'd probably go with Demetri if I had to choose somebody." He said. He liked and trusted Dem, and though it may seem nepotistic to ask Andy to vote for her her half-sibling, it still felt like the best option, especially if votes were anonymous.

Jason and Janelle Gauger

Location: Dining Pavilion
Skills: N/A

"Yeah, talk to you in a lettle bet den and I'll meet you at de clembin wall," Janelle said towards Jace as she heard movement, that being him getting up and likely heading for the Big House. She figured that they'd talk later and it would be nice to hang around someone else then she usually does. Typically, Janelle liked to try and make friends or get to know people from everywhere, she figured that making friends or getting to know everyone was a good idea, but that's just typically how her mind tended to work in general with it.

"Yeah, we'll see what 'appens right?" Jason said with a laugh, "See ya after everythin' is done," he added, waving as Jace left the table to head for the Big House. That left him with his sister, and since he had no idea where the Roman who was supposed to go on the quest with him was, he figured that he'd at least hang around with her for a little while before he had to go. "Do you want to go fahr a walk Janey?" he asked her, as he got up from the table, before he put a hand on her shoulder so his sister knew where he was.

She nodded her head, before getting up from the table, grabbing onto her brother's arm for the moment as she oriented and steadied herself. Truthfully she didn't really need the help, but sometimes it was just nice for her to be able to lean on her brother and just to know he was there if she needed him. Holding and using her cane in one hand, and her other on her brother's arm just so she knew he was there more then she needed his help, she started heading out of the Dining Pavilion with Jason, figuring that it would be nice to just sort of walk around until he had to go.

He was kind of glad that Janelle decided to go with him out and about, and hey, maybe they'd run into the Romans who were supposedly going on the quests too and say something about it or whatever. Mainly though, he wanted to talk to his sister about a few things. "An bhfuil tú ceart go leor? Bhí an chuma ar tú beagán síos, ná bí ag smaoineamh nár thug mé sin faoi deara," he said to her as they walked along. She seemed a bit down or annoyed with something, and he wanted to talk to her about it before he left. Just so she didn't think he didn't seem to notice it at all.

"Tá mé ceart go leor, cén fáth a mbeadh rud éigin mícheart?"

"Fuair tú cosantach láithreach, cad atá ar d'intinn?"

"...Tá buachaillí dúr."

"Bhuel d’fhéadfainn é sin a rá leat, cad a tharla?" he was starting to sound a bit amused, considering the fact that that was not something he expected his sister to say at all.

"Ní dhéanfaidh aon ní, ach fíric a lua. Cén fáth a bhfuil tú ag cur imní orm faoi?"

"Toisc go bhfuil sé ar ndóigh bugging tú. Fan, an bhfuil baint aige seo leis an rud ar fad ar maidin maidir le Zeke agus Demi agus sin ar fad?"

"Ní hea, ar chor ar bith, cén fáth a nglacann tú rudaí láithreach bonn?" but she was getting a little red in the face despite her words.

"Mar sin tá baint aige leo. Dáiríre tá tú níos fusa le léamh ná aon duine eile. Janelle, d'fhéadfá labhairt leo agus fiafraí díobh cad a tharla nó cad atá ar siúl leo..." he knew what his sister's feelings were, and she tended to be a bit oblivious to how obvious her feelings towards people could be. Problem was, because she tended to wear her emotions on her sleeve all the time, sometimes to people not paying attention it also could be easily missed.

"Jason, ní rud ar bith é, agus chuir mé ceist orthu faoi díreach sula ndeachaigh mé anonn le bheith páirteach leat, ná bí buartha faoi," she sort of wanted to steer away from that conversation as they were sort of just walking continuously away from the Dining Pavilion. She wasn't even sure where they were going in general at the moment, but she still found it nice to just walk around.

Marygold Isley

Location: Dining Pavilion -> Camp Store
Skills: N/A

She smiled slightly at Stella, nodding her head a bit as they made their way to the camp store. Mary still wasn't entirely thrilled with Stella going on quests still, but she couldn't do anything about it, it is what it is. Though the idea of a bunch of the younger campers going on the quests was not really a good sign in her mind, but she kept that to herself for the moment. Mary waved slightly at the Iris camper who was opening up the store and let them inside of the building. Mary had a few things that she already had, but she went about and started getting a few bits and pieces for supplies to help in her own quest.

"Well, you already have a weapon, that being your sickle, though having something smaller like a knife or dagger to act as a backup weapon might not be too bad of an idea. You have the first aid kit and food and water and everything else you really need in the way of supplies. The basics are mostly what you'd need, considering the fact that traveling lighter tends to be better, especially since you might need to move quickly, so the sort of stuff you might need for potentially camping or whatever is useful. Though in a pinch because of your Chlorokinesis you likely can easily make food if you truly need it, but yeah, I think you have most of the basics there," she said to her, as she grabbed a few things for her own supplies for her own quest.

"Thanks Tammy." Andy sighed. "Yep, stupid but yeah. To the Big House." She started walking with Arthur. "Yeah Demi is one of the ones I was thinking as a yes. He isn't going on a quest so he'd be a good choice. That or one of the other Head cabin people. Then they'd have some pull on our side for negotiating."

There was a strategy of who to pick. It should be someone level-headed. If Mary weren't going on a quest she'd suggest her. Maybe Tammy. She is the head camper for Iris and there isn't an equivalent on the Roman side to Andy's knowledge. That meant she wouldn't be swayed by any familial ties anywhere. She'd be staunchly Greek but would be fair-minded.

"What about Tammy?" Andy suggested and explained her logic.

Location: Beach
Skills: Oathbinding

Niah couldn't help but wonder if this was some sort of punishment. She had no idea what it would be for. Then she felt it. The pull of an Oath. Nancy was swearing on the River Styx. Niah wanted to keep it from binding her. If they lost..."Your oath is witnessed and binding."

She closed her eyes. Hating herself a little for it. But she couldn't stop it. She couldn't keep the oath from binding. They had to succeed now. They couldn't fail. If they did...

Leaning forward Niah placed her forehead on Nancy's back. She didn't ask why Nancy would make such an Oath. She couldn't blame her. She had made her own oath recently. One she was determined to be successful with.

Camp Store:

Over at the infimary there were a few campers now coming in and searching around, there was some candy and soda packed up on the shelves as well as some food to. There were a few of them watching as Mary and Stella were grabbing their supplies for their quest, when the Iris Camper who opened the store approached the two of them. "Did you guys need help finding anything?" They asked looking over at Stella the most since they knew she had just come to camp the day before.

Infirmary:

Over in the infirmary things started to get rather busy as a few campers were carrying a stretcher with an injured camper, one of them was a half-sibling of Zeke's a girl that was around their age as well to. "Hey Zeke mind helping out, you know where the supplies are better than me?" She asked and gestured to the kid that was on the stretcher. "They were really close to the top of the climbing tower before falling down to the ground." The girl said, then looked over towards Demi for a moment and gave him a slight wave, hoping that Zeke would be able to help out.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Dining Pavilion
Skills: N/A

Kristin was on her way over towards the Climbing Wall, when she spotted both Jason and Janelle talking to one another though she couldnt really understand what they were saying, she never did get the chance to learn another language at school. Kristin decided to make her way over towards the two of them. "Hey, how are the two of you doing?" Kristin decided to ask giving Jason and Janelle a friendly smile, she knew that some of the people were going on quests still had to do their little meeting thing which probably did give those who werent cabin councilors a chance to get their things all together.

She was still kind of surprised that the Roman's who were going on the quests werent there yet either but she wasnt going on any of these quests so she couldn't complain. She already did have her own plans for the day anyway. "Would either of you guys like some extra company?" Kristin decided to ask.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Poseidon Cabin -> Big House
Skills: N/A

Kiera felt bad for leaving her girlfriend, and wanted to stick with her, but then again they did have a whole entire time to be together on their Quest. "Thanks love." Kiera said as she walked over to the Big House holding Leda's hand as they walked to the Big House together, it wasnt that far of a walk as they were there. Some of the other head councilors were heading inside now, Kiera turned to face her girlfriend and pulled her into a loving hug and kiss. "I'll be back and with Arthur and we can get going." Kiera said to her girlfriend, seeing Cassian coming up and gave him a slight wave before heading into the Big House with the others. Chiron approached the Big House and noticed both Leda and Cassian there. "Hello Leda and Cassian, if you two don't mind looking for Nancy? I'm sure she would like to be in on this." Chiron asked the two of them.

As Kiera headed down towards the basement, it wasnt anything as fancy as the Romans had in their senate house back in New Rome, there was a large pool table in the center of the room and a few chairs as well, all fifteen other head councilors were already in the room. Along with the Roman Danielle who was voted in as Praetor in Madalyne's place was there as well to looking a bit out of place. Kiera eventually found herself an empty seat and sat down.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Beach
Skills: N/A

Madalyne held onto both Niah and Nancy as tightly as she could hearing Nancy making her oath, something that they might win or lose, and she'd rather know what might happen if the oath was broken. "No matter what though win or loose we will still be there for each other." Madalyne said looking over at Nancy. "And the moment we do win you'll go and join the Hunt with Diana and the other hunters." Madalyne said as she looked at Niah. "And you'll do whatever you'd like to do when we take back our home and i'll be there for you." Madalyne told Niah, she wasnt sure what she wanted to do, she stepped down as Praetor and she could do whatever she wanted whether stay and help with building back New Rome or going off on her own path from New Rome either way she still had both her closest friends with her.

Madalyne sighed slightly she didnt want to go, but she knew that they needed to get going on their quests and the Greeks and the Legion were probably waiting on them now. "We should probably head back they are probably waiting for us." Madalyne said to both Niah and Nancy, as much as she'd rather stay here with her two best friends and be there for Nancy as well to.

Stella tried to keep track of each thing Marygold was suggesting she made sure she had, and for a moment she mentally cursed herself for not having something to write it on. That was what one of her teachers had told her to do when her ADHD was flaring up so badly, though now she understood it was due to the fact she was a demi-god. Did that also explain why it was so hard to read sometimes? She wasn't sure. She realized her mind had wandered a bit, but she did catch the bit about being able to make her own food and chuckled at that. It probably wasn't that funny, but for Stella the image of being able to summon up some strawberries while on the run was kind of amusing.

"Well, um... a few things. Maybe first a bag so I can put everything in? Then an extra weapon, some food, some clothing..." Stella rattled off the list that Marygold had given her, and then once the Iris girl had shown her were each of the things were she started to gather. She picked up a backpack first so that she could toss everything in as she acquired it, and so she knew where it was. She did wrinkle her nose a bit at the bright orange shirts that she was given as camp clothing, as orange didn't suit her, but she couldn't argue. Clothing was clothing, and she might need back up shirts. She did make sure to tuck in the first aid kit in the front backpack pocket, as well as the little compass she took from one of the shelves. Yes, in theory she knew where she was going, but she wanted to make sure they didn't get too lost.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Outside the Infirmary —> Inside Infirmary -- Camp Half-Blood
Skills: First Aid; Healing

Ezekiel looked at Demetri, amusement in his eyes as the demi-god stared at him with mouth wide open before he realized and stepped up to rejoin Ezekiel. He had the good sense to blush with Demetri’s comment about making it difficult for him to keep his hands to himself. ”Hand holding might be okay but the rest of it…” Ezekiel shook his head. ”Not now at least.”
Ezekiel turned his head when he heard his name and saw one of his half-sister’s following along with a stretcher. It was the time of day now when the infirmary saw some action. It seemed more frequent after mealtimes and would gradually slow down until the next meal but it also depended on the day. The first victims of the climbing wall were starting to come in and it sounded like they needed an extra hand.
”Ya, I’ll be right in,” he said and looked back at Demetri who was now eye level with him. Demi’s startling blue eyes looked into his own and Ezekiel had the sudden urge to close the gap between them but he held onto the railing and refrained because that urge also freaked him out.
”Looks like you’ll have to save that kiss for later, Howell. You can come in if you want though. You could start on inventory for me,” Zeke suggested. He turned, elbowing Demetri in the chest playfully before jogging up the steps and into the infirmary. "Oh and before we do start holding hands in public I need to talk to Janelle. I want her to hear it from me before the whole camp starts talking," Ezekiel explained. He winked at Demi before heading inside.

The smell of antiseptic, herbs, nectar and ambrosia hit him and Ezekiel inhaled, feeling instantly at home. He went and changed his shirt into a clean one before washing up and headed into the room with the fresh injuries. Zeke found his half-sister and the patient she wanted help with. Ezekiel greeted them kindly, his entire demeanor shifting as he started to assess the camper for injuries. Overall, it wasn’t great. Zeke found a broken arm, leg and some bruising in other locations.
”Could you get them some nectar?” Ezekiel asked his half-sibling before looking back at the camper and smiled at them. ”Steady breathing, count to ten. It helps,” he said before he rested a hand on the broken leg and the other on the broken arm. Ezekiel shut his eyes in an effort to help him concentrate and then he let his power flow through him. Ezekiel’s hands started to glow and a warmth emitted from them that would be felt by the camper. Ezekiel could visualize the bones starting to knit back together as they had been before. After a few moments, the camper was healed but Ezekiel still wanted the camper to have some nectar encase. Besides, it tasted good. Finished with the camper, Ezekiel turned to see if anyone else needed an extra hand.
