@Caits Oh, I wasn't really involved too much in the collab cause I had work to do in the middle... so I didn't really notice what happened. I apologize if I made you frustrated. You're a good roleplayer and I'd, of course, still want to continue roleplaying with you.
Elise & Vladimir

"Vlad?" Elise called out as she sat up, confusion still evident in her voice and face. But as an arrow whizzed past and barely missed her cheek, she jumped to her feet.

"I need you focused, Elise. I need you to get yourself to safety," came Vlad's tensed voice as he blocked off more arrows that came from the trees. "Here they come," he said just as swordsmen came charging at him. He slashed at them with his twin swords and brought several of them down.

Elise's confusion faded. She no longer thought of unfamiliar memories, strange faces, a forgotten name and long lost lovers. A blank, emotionless look settled over her face as she stared at the trees. She had no idea how many archers were there but she focused her mind to as much as she can reach. Immediately, the arrows began changing directions towards the swordsmen that were now pouring towards them. But Vladimir didn't seem like he was tiring as he continuously swung his sword around. Even when an arrow tip opened a wound on his cheek and another found its mark on his leg. He merely brushed them off and continued to face the sudden onslaught.

An arrow sheathed itself into Elise's shoulder even as most of them were directed to the men that were locked in a sword battle with the Templar. She made a soft sound of pain as she struggled backwards both by the weight of the spell that was slowly draining her of her life energy and from the arrow on her shoulder. Vladimir glanced towards her and roared out in fury. A mighty swing of his sword cleaved off three heads. "Elise, don't. There's too many of them." A dagger flew through the air aimed for Elise's head. Vladimir turned and blocked it with a sword. The momentary distraction was enough to give the enemy a slight upper hand. But his movements left him open and a sword came down on him from the back. The Templar fell down on his knees, a surprised look on his face as his blood splattered on the ground.

"No!" Elise immediately released her hold on the minds of the archers. Trying to control several at a time was not enough to completely alter their minds and the effect was only momentary. It only took several minutes before arrows began raining from the trees again. Everything seemed to move in slow motion. Another arrow sheathed itself in Elise's shoulder right beside the first one. Another one hit its mark on her abdomen. She staggered forward just in time to reach Vladimir.

"No. My wound is not fatal Elise. Save your strength for yourself," a panicked look was in his eyes when he realized that Elise meant to heal him even in her weakened and injured state. But he was too late as he saw her lips move to form the spell. He felt instantaneous relief from the pain. And then Elise fell down onto the ground, exhausted, unconscious and bleeding.

"Heh. You're immortal when your little girlfriend is with you, huh?" a hoarse voice said as the cold tip of a blade rested dangerously close to Vladimir's jugular. "I sincerely hope she's not dead. To your feet." the voice ordered.

One of the bandits stepped forward and lifted Elise's limp body in his arms.

A few minutes later, Vladimir was led to the others who were similarly injured. He was pushed to the ground while Elise's unconscious body was unceremoniously dumped by his side. Vladimir, still held at blade point, could only glance at Elise. But he was able to breathe a sigh of relief when he noted that Elise had managed to at least heal a bit of herself even though the arrows were still jutting out of her body. Her breathing was fast and shallow but she was still alive.

Will have a post about the bandit attack for Elise and Vladimir tomorrow.
Caius & Claudia

The apartelle room was large, spacious and comfortable. But the twins had no plans of turning in for the night. "Me and my brother will be going out for a while. Get something to eat and see the town," she dangled the room keys at the young man behind the counter. "I'll leave this to you to keep. I don't wanna lose it while we're walking around," she gave the man a charming smile.

The young man, the son of the apartelle's owner, took one look at Claudia, swallowed and then meekly nodded as he took the keys from Claudia's slender fingers. "Brother, huh? That's good," he muttered under his breath as he tucked the keys into a cubby beneath the counter.

Caius was leaning against the far wall, a few feet away from where the counter was. "What was that?" he asked the young man in an amused tone of voice.

The man behind the counter blinked and glanced towards Caius. Did he just hear what I said? he thought to himself and then shook his head. The man was too far away from him. It was impossible. "Uh, nothing, nothing," he replied anyway. He sneaked a glance at Claudia as she walked past him and out the door.

Caius followed his sister outside. "Humans do find you attractive, don't they?" he commented in the same amused voice.

Claudia shrugged. "I know," she said confidently. "Works well for me. I don't need to like them back anyway," she began making her way towards the dark alleyway behind the apartelle.

Caius followed her and a few seconds later, two huge black wolves padded out. One had streaks of brown fur while the other had streaks of white fur. Unlike the usual werewolves, these two don't walk on two legs like how humans do. Despite their striking similarity to plain, wild wolves, their larger size makes all the difference. Both had no idea why they looked different from how their pack was. But because of their almost "normal" looking appearance and their immense speed as compared to everyone else in the pack, the two were almost always sent in as scouts.

There will be no need to attack, Claudia. Keep that in mind. Survey the scene, Ciaus reminded his sister.

Sure, sure. I don't plan on making a scene unless I need to, Claudia answered.

You better not, came a stern male voice in both wolves' head.

Oh, hi, Darric. You miss hearing us in your head?

There was a short chuckle. Yes, you can say that.

Or you just wanna know first hand what we see.

Yes, that too.

You're in the edge of town, It wasn't a question but a statement.

Sharp as ever, Caius, Darric commended. Now, go.

Two blurs of black blanketed by the night's darkness shot out from the apartelle's shadow.

The two wolves covered a large territory at once, their sharp sense of smell, sight and hearing taking in all the information they can get, keeping in the shadows to avoid being seen. Claudia heard the rumors about the unrest, of strange vampires coming into town. She visited Mystiq and heard of a new owner. She passed by the diner where Jac was. She instantly smelled her, a curious mix of cinnamon, herbs and rum. Caius on the other hand, visited where the Originals had taken residence. Even at a distance, he could sense and smell them. Three ancient vampires. And curiously, a witch. She smelled differently from Jac but she was a witch all the same. He stopped and raised his snout to the air. As a light breeze blew, he knew that there were others who have arrived in town as well.

Interesting, came Darric's voice in the twins' heads.

Will have something up in a few minutes. Hi @RumikoOhara
New character on the way.
Tia Blackwood

Tia carefully got into the boat. As it moved away from the bank, she looked back towards where the squirrel was. But the stump it had been on was empty and she can no longer hear coins clinking together. She sighed and mouthed a silent thank you to it. And then she turned towards the direction where they were going, her eyes drawn down into the thick black water of the lake. Several pale un-moving bodies floated face down on it. Before she could ask about it, something splashed in the water and pulled the body underneath the surface. She immediately sat down on the boat, scared that she might fall into the water and suffer the same fate as that unlucky person. She looked at the skeleton boatman as he spoke in his raspy, haunting voice.

"Tar fish," she repeated and then peered carefully over the edge of the boat. But the thick black fluid was calm and smooth, disturbed only by a few ripples from the boat as it passed by. But as she continued looking at it, a reptilian looking eye blinked at her and then something slithered just beneath the surface, the edges of its sharp spines cutting through the shiny black surface. Surprised, she leaned back in.

Her heart pumping with fear, she looked at the boatman, bothered by the fact that she could stare at a live skeleton while a fish scared her. If it even was a fish. She shivered at the thought. "Why I'm here... I... had no idea I crossed over. This is the Dream, isn't it?"
@Ashevelendar Working on it. I made her quite a way back so I can't really remember what sort of stuff I made. T_T So it's back to the drawing board for me.
