Name:Cinderfang
Age:Just under 2 years (22 moons, ~23 human years)
Gender:Female
Clan:MistClan
Rank:Young Warrior
Appearance:Blue-gray mackerel tabby she-cat with dark, umber eyes.
Personality:Hypercritical: She holds herself to high standards, and her clanmates to even higher ones. She feels that with how she's poured her heart and soul into her warriordom, she's become more capable than most of her clanmates. As a result, it's easier for her to point out when they're doing something wrong - be it something as simple as their hunting form or as serious as questioning their loyalty to the Clan, she'll notice your flaws and call you out on them.
Combative: Her name was chosen to be Cinder
fang for a reason. That reason is that it doesn't matter if you're a rival warrior or prey, she bears teeth first and asks questions later. She's a fierce hunter and fighter and as of late, she won't stop till her opponent gives up and runs away or stops moving - or someone forcefully stops her. Whichever comes first.
Self-Destructive: Cinderfang can, has, and will push herself past breaking point after breaking point, taking on problems that are way too much for her to handle alone. Thankfully, her worst injury so far is a pretty nasty bite from a little crocodile from her late apprenticeship days, but there's always a chance she could go the way of her sister... Not that she'd go without making her assailant hurt worse, of course.
Biography:She was born to her parents
Smokeclaw and
Finchsong (who are both alive and well in the elder's den), alongside her sister
Graykit. Her life as a kit was normal - full of discovery, play, and adventure. She and Graykit would bounce around camp playing pretend, stalking each other and play fighting with the other kits as a duo, pretending they were already great, unstoppable warriors. They were so close and loved each other so much - and that was both a great strength, and a great weakness. Everyone that watched them knew that they would grow into a fantastic team.
So as if StarClan themselves were kicking dung in their faces, the killings of clan cats began with none other than
Graypaw. The murder scene was grizzly. Graypaw was intact - thank StarClan for that - her throat was still torn and her light fur was covered in dark mud and blood, and her eyes.. Her It was a violent wake-up call for Cinderpaw, who up to that point hadn't quite been taking her apprenticeship as seriously. She did her best, of course, but it was also
fun, training with her sister! They would go on hunts together, they would quiz each other, and Gray would listen to Cinder whine about how awful getting the ticks out of the elder's fur was. Even when they weren't in sight of each other - which was uncommon - they were always pushing each other to be the best they could be in the form of a good natured rivalry. Graypaw's banter felt like simple sibling teasing before, but after her death it's become Cinderfang's
mantra.Just be stronger, Cinderpaw! Be faster, be smarter! Be better! So she did. Or, well, she's working to
become better. Always.
