Bio

Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...

I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.

You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.

I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.

Alice looked up sharply as a knocking came from the door. Were they not done already?! It was ten o'clock at night! A ridiculous time to be running even more tests! She was a patient person, but now her patient was at it's limits. Opening her mouth to demand they let her be and rest (and perhaps even out of the hospital), she paused when a officer just walked in. Her back stiffened as her green eyes narrowed. Patience went out the window faster than the speed of sound. If he didn't have damn information about Liam Enduro he was about to get an earful.

"I am." Her voice was cold, polite but cold. "I am also the woman who has endured more tests than is sane." Giving the man a pointed look then looking at the clock. She turned her gaze back to him. "You do realize the time? My apologies officer, but my patience is at it's limit and I would like to rest." Untrue, but she would like to be left alone. To be in peace and quiet. Away from the bustle of the day. "Unless you have more information on my attack= such as you caught the man?" Her eyes gleamed with hope, but there was a twinge in the back of her mind. This man looked a little odd. Not only that he was talking odd. The other officers introduced themselves and eased into things. This man was blunt and straight to the point. Perhaps he had no people skills but Alice narrowed her eyes and lifted her chin in stubborn pride.
@Mister ThirteenI say go right ahead to work on that. post while I update. It's going to be short and limited detail.
Alice blinked as the doctor came back in looking rather different from when he left. It was rather odd. The entire thing. She had healed miraculously and beautifully. Relief flooded her for a brief second. No need to worry about wearing high necked dresses all the time! No questioning about that curious scar. For the scare would never be. It was a relief- though a small one. But one Alice took in stride and hugged tightly to herself. However that relief was followed by irritation.

They wanted to run most tests. MRI, blood, cat scans. Alice fell back against the pillows. She was going to be stuck here forever, to be tested on because they wanted to be careful. She had a job! A shop! A lovely job and life! And if she saw that Liam Enduro again... Alice puffed out her cheek and her green eyes turned flinty. She'd stab that man. With her pricking needles and pins! Let that fool see how he liked being helpless! Dying in the street! Breathing out a sigh, Alice shook her head. Out of the hospital, work, and then she would work out what that man did to her. And if they didn't let her out tomorrow- she was going to start coloring the walls and to hell with the consequences!

Thus did her day pass. Test after test, annoyance after annoyance. Alice bored it all with a smile and false cheer, though as she sat down for dinner... Her cheer was dead on this waste of food. It did not taste good, it did nothing to fill her. She only ate half before setting it aside and going back to the designs. Annoyed by the entire situation.
@Mister Thirteen Good, else Alice was going to start taking colored pencils from the children's ward to the walls.

Rhys Asher

Location: Home -> Trader's Market

Memorizing the map, Rhys made his way to the outside before stowing it away into his inner pocket. He would need to look it over more later. However, he could do with a bit of shopping, a round of gossip and a stiff ale to wash all of this down. The place for all three? The trader's market. It would serve his purpose and the walk would give him time to think. Especially as the Queen's room was concealed. Though he knew the general location. That was something the Port Coven Witch Mother would pay well for. Perhaps they could make a trade. The ExtraOrdinary Wizards- past, present, future- for that way into that room. His green eyes were bright with glee. That was a tempting thought!

Rhys Asher was not a unkind person, he was self serving. Kindness had been stamped out of him just like his hopes and dreams. Erik Halaway, his mentor when he was a Ordinary Wizard Apprentice had seen to that. But that wouldn't matter, he'd collect the debt that Arya Rincewind owed him for taking his place. He supposed it was unfair to hate the girl, it wasn't her fault she had been chosen and taken as ExtraOrdinary Wizard Apprentice, but someone had to pay for the sins of the father. Or in this case, the mentor. If he could get his hands on the old Blaise Rowland... Rhys gave a pleasant smile to a group of woman as they giggled thinking they had caused it. He would make the old windbag, along with that clever little Arya, watch as he slowly destroyed the new ExtraOrdinary Wizard's Apprentice. Then he'd have to flip a coin. Enjoy the girl? Or toss the old man to his death. A very slow death while the girl watched? He'd save the girl for last. Wring the secrets out of her along with the position. Then he would have the power and spells. The entire city captive. The daydream was a beautiful thought, but he knew it wasn't going to go that way. No... First. He needed to listen to the gossip and find a way to slip into the castle. There would be plenty of people, and the guards were rust buckets with brains anyways.
Alice blinked in confusion. So- What now? Picking up the pad of paper and pen. She settled back against the pillows. Designing more flowing robes. Something for those lovers who wanted a more whimsical night. Though the patterns under her hands changed again and again. Turning into something more akin to a costume. But then as Alice studied the fairy outfit, she did have that one client who always paid top dollar for the flimsy little dresses. Giving a slight chuckles, the tailor knew if the woman couldn't afford it she would be able to later down the road. As a teacher, Clarice Willowbrook's income was tightly stretched but she made it work by plying a side job as model. The woman had the looks, Alice would admit.

But that was Mz. Willowbrook's situation and not her own. Frowning the raven haired woman, continued to sketch. So her wound had healed? And so quickly? Was this because of the night before? The blood she had- Alice covered her mouth as she paled. She had drank blood. Honest to goodness human blood. Like Liam. Did he infect her? Then why had the doctors not picked anything up? Was it unknown? So rare? Alice shivered, rubbing her arms to get back some warm into her veins. Perhaps this was all a misunderstanding or some horrible nightmare? As much as she would have liked to believe that, it wasn't likely. Alice closed her eyes as she scolded her panic. One thing at a time, after all. First she wanted to get home. Once there, she could... Do what? Figure this out? It seemed her only option. To move on and work out what was going on.
The small woman gave a nod in understanding at the doctor's words. She didn't like them but she understood the reasoning. After all, it was better to get well than keep coming back to the hospital for infections and such. "I enjoy my work." Alice gave Dr. Williams a tired smile. However the smile soon faded as she frowned at his expression as he removed the bandages.

"What are earth are you doing?" Alice exclaimed in panic, before catching sight of her shoulder. Whole and unblemished. Staring at it in open mouthed shock the woman crossed herself. Whole her family was Catholic, and Alice was not necessarily religiously inclined. This was something she was very much startled by. Shaking her head Alice whisper in horror. "Why would I play such a stupid and foolish prank?! I was attacked by some psycho, woke up in a hospital!" She voice rose in distress. "My clothes were covered in blood!" Her confusion bringing tears to her eyes as she stared at the healed skin. "My god."
Alice grumbled at the knocking. Who would be waking her up this early in the morning? And how did they even get into her apartment? Hearing a door open then close, the raven headed tailor blinked sleepily as she looked towards the noise. She was in a hospital, not her home. Her mouth drew into a tight frown at the not so distant memories of the fateful night as she had taken to calling it. If anything irritated Alice Lynch it was someone mistreating clothes. Given that Liam Enduro had no so much mistreated her clothes, but destroyed them... Well had she been the Queen of England, she too could command the winds so to speak. Essentially the psychopathic man had declared a war with the tailor and when clothes were involved the tailor was not one to let up.

Well, Alice reflected on that thought. It seemed she was doing better if she was angry at the man. Anger was better than sadness. Of course she was still was sad, but it was a small thing in compared to his sins and crimes against decent formal wear. "A morning to you Doctor, but I would hardly call it good." Her voice was clipped and irritated at being woken. "Then again, I wouldn't call any morning for better or worse 'good'." Alice admitted, arching a brow. "I don't suppose you know how much longs I'm going to be here? Not that I don't appreciate the care and all, but I do want to get back to my shop." She gave the man an apologetic half smile that was converted into a yawn behind one hand. It wasn't her fault she couldn't go home, but Alice was truly tired of white. It was a drab color at the best of times. Now? It was something she was most certainly not going to go overboard with for a good while!
It was intoxicating and incredibly painful. Having slipped into the cold room, Alice rubbed her arms under the pathetic excuse for a gown. But the smell was all around, she had seen a nurse slip out of the room just mere minutes before she approached. Covering her mouth, Alice stiffled a whimper. Blood. Like that night, that terrifying night. The pain that filled her then, filling her now. Blood was everywhere and it's beautiful scent filled her. A slow shimmering on the floor was the puddle of red, Alice stared at the horrifying beauty. Why was it beautiful? The pain that coursed through her made the night before seem like nothing as she fell to her knees before the spilled bag. Something urging her towards the red. This- this is what Liam was talking about? The ambrosia of life? She wanted to weep as her slim fingers dipped into the red and she brought it to her lips. As she suckled the blood from her fingers. A throbbing pulse broke through her as the pain ebbed, as she leaned down and trailed her tongue through the blood. Drinking the puddle. Like some piece of the puzzle finally fit.

But she was aware. Oh, Alice was very aware. She did not touch the fallen bag. No, that would leave a trace. She must not leave a trace. She must not give anyone any reason to suspect anything. It was that thought that pulled her from the blood her throat sated for the time. The puddle of red smaller. Hobbling back to her room, Alice felt better than she had in days. But she also felt something else stirring. Fear. Why had she drank the blood? Smelt the blood so far away? It still called to her. Urging her to return and feast. But the tailor set her will against it. No- no, she had to wait. Hold out. The blood would still be there. But what if they thought she was crazy? There would be problems then. Problems Alice knew would cause the collapse of everything. So she slid back into bed, her mouth dry and clean and her fingers clean as well. A good scrub in the restroom had fixed that. Closing her eyes Alice gave a low sigh. The beauty was all around, and the pain had stopped at last. Finally, she could rest.
@Mister Thirteen Oh this is going to be interesting.
