Bio

Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...

I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.

You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.

I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.

“Terreille in Trouble”

@Torack As Lucivar knocked upon the heavy oaken door, there came a shaky and terrified voice from the otherside. “Enter, Prince.” Karlianne, Queen of Dene Nehele, sounded worse off than usual. Her voice had been holding that nervous shake for the past week or so. Her eyes often having bags under them from the strain and burden of holding together a facturing land. Provincial Queens had been gnawing at their tethers for years, and more than one of Karlianne’s court had fallen on the killing field to put down the renegade women and their ill founded courts.

But that was neither here nor there, if Lucivar walked into the room he would see his Queen seated upon a large chair. A man of dark hair and gold eyes standing behind her and a dagger at the pale and quivering throat. Tears were bright in Karlianne’s eyes as she looked pleadingly at the Ebon-Grey Warlord Prince who swore her fealty, to protect her against this very thing. Off to the side was the Master of the Guard, Tristan. His back stiff and his face a mask of shame and humiliation. He had served his post honorable and with good intentions for years. Yet he stood there not daring to move to try and defend his Queen or the people as a screaming started outside. Someone had gotten up the nerve to attack, and worse, they had agents already inside as a man servant came running down the hall to fall with an arrow in his back as two natives to the land appeared at one end of the hall. “You may want to step in and close the door, Prince.” The Hyallian sneered perhaps thinking himself safe behind a shield of green that Lucivar could sense. One that also covered the knife and Queen. Nothing would stop that blade if it didn’t get through the Crafted shield first. “I believe we need to discuss your position in the new Court of Dene Nehele.”

@Deos Morran Belor moved slowly and carefully inside the fortress of Helios. An Eyrien eyrie that had been a hunting camp where youngster would normally prove themselves. It had been steadfast and turned into a eyrie for a war camp, then later a more permanent fort. They weren’t many of the sort in the Realm. But Helios was one of the few, especially in these dark times. Having gathered his weapons and rearmed himself, the smaller Eyrien made no moved as to draw or even acknowledge the fact he was armed. His golden eyes studying the Commander of Helios carefully. This was not a matter to take lightly and the wrong words would put him, his brothers and Faeril at risk. None of which the younger twin was fond of. “Perhaps if we could speak in private? My words are not lightly carried nor lightly said.” Tapping his Rose in acknowledgement of Rathe’s Ebon-Grey, the fellow Warlord Prince continued in a softer voice. “I would ask if you still follow the Old Ways of the Blood, and how you view the Black Widows?” His words were carefully pieced together as he studied Rathe with close scrutiny.

@NanoFreakV2 Rainer’s eyes narrowed at the Warlord, his jaw tightening as the Prince fought his temper. Rainer was not a fighter, he didn’t even know how to. His family was the sort that made their point with a pen. But it rankled the man that this stranger would so insult his child and their mother, his wife. The two men next to him gripped his shoulders, giving Percyvallus hard looks as they closed ranks about their table. Shutting the stranger and his problems out of their lives. Though the Prince could hardly help but mutter. “You’re under the same boot as the rest of us.” Something that Percyvallus would hear as the door shut behind him.

@nohbdies The day moved onwards with little issue, til a shadow darkened Artemis’s stoop. A Hyallian man stood there, leaning heavily against the door frame. A deep gouge in his side bled freely as he gripped the wood under his hand. Blood staining the once neat paint. His Purple Dusk jewel on his chest fueled a weakening shield as the blood loss started to affect the Warlord. At his hip was a empty sword sheathe and behind him laid the weapon where it had fallen from his fingers. “You there. Healer! Help me.” The golden eyed man snapped sharply, his face a twisted mask of anger and pain.
The next GM post will be up tomorrow night.
Alice felt the wetness that seeping from her eyes. Tears? Not for Liam but for the monsters these creatures were. For the monster she could become. She was a peaceful woman. A tailor who only had ever wanted to run her shop and be left alone by the greater powers in the world. A cruel joke that this man had played upon her. Offering a little bit of something more only to rip her simple life away.Taking a step back from Dalton and his compatriots, not to mention Liam, Alice shook her head slightly.

She had handled people trying to kill her. Drinking the blood of humans, a tabooed action from society. She had dealt with being a media scandal and unable to return her beloved Timeless. But this? It was murder. It was beyond wrong! She would have no part with it. Her vvoice quavered as she backed towards the door that lead back to the ball- the trap that she saw now. "I can't. I can't be here." Alice whispered, her green eyes wide with fright. "I can't watch murder right in front of me!" The tailor hissed as she turned and bolted for the door, lifting the long skirts with one hand from long habit as to not trip over the fabric.
@NanoFreakV2 Day 13. Do not forget to post.
Rys gave a snarl as Neriad smacked his thigh with the damned staff. The lad disliked looking on a good day in Rome, but this was worse to Rys's point of view. But he quelled the irritation. It wouldn't do to have the men see her like this. Tossing the wooden staff to the side, the woman disgusted as a man moved to sit half in shadow. Hoping it would just be taken as her sulking. Which was true.

Nodding slightly at Amen's offer of "Nice try." Thus shrugged as if to say it wasn't much either winning or the looking. "I am not one for staves." The young Rys admitted in a gruff voice.

Ayita Dyrkin & Richard Laine

Location Blackbird

Richard's head snapped up at Dean's comment. The Adder's arm snaking out to grip his sister's shoulder as she flinched at the boy words. For all she was ready and able to kill for the sake of those upon this craft, he still knew she would regret it deeply. Taking a human life was far different from killing another creature out of the need for survival. Even after a year, Wonderland's death weighed heavily upon the younger shifter. Turning his snake like gaze towards the two, he nodded in agreement with Charlie and Carolina's reasoning and answers. Feeling Ayita relax, and he moved his arm away slowly.

Leaning his frame over slightly he motion to Dean with a flick of his fingers. "Taking a life is no easy thing. To do so as Carolina put it is the only clean way. Life and the many over death and the one unless that one can save many more." His snake like eyes turned flinty as he stared down Dean with a dangerous look. "Some have done it for money, for knowledge, and for the thrill. In case of those Sentinels? Fear and ignorance. That, boy, is how monsters are created out of people." The assassin stressed the over all term of people. Humans, mutants, it didn't matter what something was. The why and how were what deemed the term monster upon them. Though Richard did not deny that he was one for he had done very bad things in order to find his sister. Though the reason was a good one, there were regrets in his life because of his actions.

Ayita flinched at the term 'monster', as she drew herself from her mental library of creatures and birds. Even after years, the term their mother had thrown into face still had the power to hurt. Though it helped to know that she was not in the definition of the word for her brother. Laying a hand upon the broad shoulder, the younger shifter gave it an awkward pat in comradeship. They both had scars, but now was not the time to revisit it. Giving a reluctant sigh, she raked fingers through her tangled and wild hair.

"I've got you two." Ayita's deceptively quiet and soft voice whispered from behind Allison was meant for both her friend and Sara. Even if the Sentinels got them down from the sky, they would have to go through her to reach Allison and thus Sara. Rubbing her arms, the shifter gave a frustrated growl and stared back towards the enemy. If only she could do more! Settling her will against the problem, Ayita assured herself that if these things ever came near her in the ocean. They would find the deep and not return from it.
@NanoFreakV2 Day 10. Four days left!
"I'm a tailor. Fashion is passion." The raven haired woman muttered as Dalton looked back at her, though Alice did little else to move away from the other supernatural aspects of her new life. Not like she would have much of a chance. Most likely these four all could out match her easily. Rubbing her arms as the thought chilled her, Alice winced as the fight between Aleera, Thomas, and Liam raged on. Fighting wasn't on Alice's list of 'good' entertainment and this?

Green eyes winced as bones were snapped and damaged enough that Liam wouldn't be able to use them. Tucking herself more firmly behind Dalton as to keep herself from seeing the grizzly scene. Yet she could clearly hear the wrenching of bones and flesh. A small terrified sound escaped the young vampire, as she covered her ears in vain. Trying to shut out the sound of savagery. For all she had gotten use to feeding from plastic bags and even rodents, Alice did not care for this. Opening her mouth to plea that this all end quickly, Alice closed it. Not wanting to draw the ire of those who could so easily kill her.
Sorry my replies are a bit slower. I'm trying to give you good posts and got a few things going on with life. (Good things, but they still are a pain in the butt!)
