I at least see one step, probably not the rest.

I'll be home in four and a half hours, I'll post then.
@Skallagrim
I'll be frank, I was not expecting you to go for exactly what I thought you were gonna go for. I had to think of five different other possibilities just in case.
Won't need luck. Thought Fergus as he backed to his corner, never once letting his gaze drift from the Undertaker. He said something to his corner but the crowd was too loud for him to actually understand, so too did he lack the ability to read lips. Wishing right about now that he did, maybe it was strategy talk.

Fergus shook his head and made his advance as well, he entered a midway stance between Krav Maga and Muay Thai. With both hands raised about to eyebrow height, fingers loose within the clenched fist. Like he was holding something valuable that he didn't want to drop, but also didn't want to shatter in his grip. It was a mental trick to give himself the perfect practical fist. His center of gravity was kept low and his knees were bent slightly, he walked on his toe with his leading right and with the flat on his left.

He always kept his hands at even distance because he didn't want to immediately reveal his right handed lead, but his footing revealed that secret far too often. As they moved within striking range Jake opened with an exploratory right ab that Fergus made an unconscious defense towards.

His left arm raised slightly before him and he turned his hip, he put his elbow between himself and the jab and checked the blow with the sharp of his arm. After the block he stepped in with his left foot and planted it hard, quickly rotating his shoulder and torso to add force to his reply. The left block dropped back into its resting defense. His right leg was brought forward quickly and he extended his right hand in a clean cross towards the cheekbone of Jake. His hand rotated slightly, his grip tightened and his shoulder raised a bit to add impact to the blow. It would be an easy strike to avoid but a hard one to take.

If his hand struck clean or if it missed entirely he would quickly withdraw his arm and pull his weight back onto his right, flattening his heel to the ground to return to a sturdy posture. He'd loosen his hand and raise it back to his eyebrow, returning his guard.

Edit: Spelling Error.

Colds are the worst, but at least they're over quick(ish).

Oh gosh I'm sorry, what'd he catch? I always worry about kids, makes me think of my nieces and if they ever get hurt or sick. Worries me to death.

To break it down dude.

Your character isn't ultra high by any definition, he's just got an ultra high tier power.

The poison immunity doesn't matter TBH, I'd say there's like four total poison users active at any point in time. Myself included.

Storm Caller's heat generation is pathetic and outstripped by an intermediate tier character.

Here's a list of things it can melt.

Copper, Antimony, Aluminum, (low quality) brass, cadmium, bismuth, lead, magnesium, silver, sodium, zinc. (This is not a complete list, but anything usable in a weapon is not listed here.)
Every single one of those can't be weaponized, save for silver, but that's because of its magical effect against Werewolves (And sometimes vampires and undead in general.)

About his first sword. Excusing the fact that mind control powers are a no-go, PERIOD.

Nobody in ultra-high tier can be considered weak willed.

In fact I'd say just about no character in a combat setting can be considered weak willed.

Even my bear character, who is BEARly capable of conscious thought, has a strong will. Demonstrated in @Skallagrim's Multiverse, where he had just been killed by a demon and requested to be sent to fight an even stronger malevolent entity. Despite knowing that he wouldn't survive.

Unbreakable weapons are a mainstay so really no complaint here.

The black lightning is the only power that has any semblance of high to ultra high tier, but the kicker is. Any ultra high tier character could survive it and move in to absolutely obliterate your character. Because if the black lightning doesn't instantly kill them, Harbringer here is absolutely outclassed in every regard.

HELL, simply by EXISTING near four of my five Ultra-high tier characters he'd be obliterated.

Sterling's shredding wind barrier produces winds strong enough to tear steel like paper.
Kynion's entropy aura can only be resisted by another entity with an equally strong aura.
Shael's dark energy aura blasts matter apart near his body and follows the above rule.
Wanderer's body generates heats up to 14,500k. Anything that's not higher tier near it dies.

And these are just the passive abilities of Ultra-High tier characters.

There's a reason why they are literally never used, it's because for writing purposes they are background characters.

The black lightning, at the tiers he fits into, is unfair to anyone else in those tiers. (Intermediate as he is and High if you buff his physical ability.)

And in the tier you believe he's in, he's so underwhelming that he'd die nearly instantly.

This is the point I'm trying to get across.

This is why absolutes don't work.
@Skallagrim
Just pinging to see if you're still with me, I've got no metric on whether you've vanished or are just looming silently.
@Asuras
Fights that end too quickly are fun for neither party regardless of recipient or deliverer.
@HarbingerKurahi
To better describe what Melon and I have said in different ways.

Absolute powers are a bitch to fight against if you yourself don't have absolute powers. In fact, they make a majority of fights last far too short and far too boring to bother with.

Any fight can be ended with a single good blow normally, there's no real reason to have an instakill trump card up your sleeve just to throw it on the first move.

Fights that are more about how you outmaneuver, outsmart, or outfight your opponent are much better.

A fight where two evenly matched boxers ends in one getting a perfect right cross in is much more entertaining than the same fight ending with one blowing the other's brains out with a concealed firearm.

See what I mean?
