What game are we using as a basis for point spending? F3, FNV, or F4?

FO4 mainly. You have 41 points to spend on the skills, which start at zero and max at 10.
War… war never changes.
When fiery nuclear blasts lit the world aflame many believed that it was the holocaust of the entire human race; that humanity was surely doomed. – However humans have always been a resilient species.

After the events of 2077, those lucky or in most cases unlucky enough to have sought shelter in one of Vault-Tec’s many instillations were spared the immediate onslaught of nuclear fire and radiation; but would later find that their new homes were not the sanctuary that they believed them to be. They were instead sick social experiments, conducted by Vault-Tec for reasons unknown.

The residents of Vault 216 were – by the grace of God – not one of the vaults selected to be part of the vile experiments and rather part of Vault-Tec’s Ark Project.

The Ark Project:

The Ark Project was Vault-Tec’s saving grace, a pure hope that humanity could restore what it had once had before the bombs fell.
The idea was simple in theory.

Certain vaults throughout the wasteland, like Vault 216 were designated as Ark-Vaults.

These vaults contained a range of physical and biological data collected by the Overseer/Vault A.I. This data would then be taken to Ark-Prime, a facility located somewhere in the region by a team assembled within the vault.

The downside to the project was that at least five vaults specialising in different fields of research to deliver their data and samples. – It did not take into account vaults failing and the FEV that was released from the destruction of the West Tek research facilities.

However, the residents of Vault 216 are nearing the final stages of their research parameters and will soon need to located Ark-Prime.

Vault 216:

Vault 216 is classed as an Ark-Vault specialising in Hydroponic R&D. The Vault can house 500 Residents on active duty and cryo-pods house 700 Dwellers. Every year, there is a turnaround of staff entering and leaving cryo-stasis in order to keep the staff that entered the vault alive until the point of which they have completed their research.

Vault 216 is overseen by two A. Is known as Alpha and Omega. One is primarily an internal A.I that focuses on the wellbeing of residents and monitors the research and other domestic things. Omega is more of an exploration orientated A.I that constantly keeps tabs on security and local area intelligence, Omega has access to several Eye-Bot drones that he has been using to ensure the area of Denver is secure. He is also the one that will be assisting in the creation and operations of the team that will travel to Ark-Prime.

Rooms: Main Airlock, Reactor, Cryo Room, Hydroponics Labs, Male & Female Dorms, Dining Hall, Auditorium, Games Room, Equipment Station, Maintenance Lab.

Welcome

Greetings and welcome to Fallout: Apocalypse, a roleplay set in the Fallout Universe during the year 2160 where the wounds of the Great War have only just begun to heal. The story is planned to be focused around the Vault Dwellers of 216 and their search for Ark-Prime.

However while the area of focus is on the dwellers, this doesn't mean that you have to play/stay as one. There will always be opening for raiders, traders and scavengers. The Brotherhood will be involved, however they will not be included for quite some time.

Dwellers have a set gear they start with and non-dwellers are free to pick reasonable starting gear/caps BUT they cannot have a PIP-BOY of any description.

Dwellers Starting Gear:
10mm Pistol
50 Rounds
5 Stimpacks
3 Rad-a-Way
Reinforced Vault Suit

2. RADITION! While levels have dropped to a sorta safe level, impact zones are still deadly. Act Accordingly.
3. Survival Mode is Active! That means you need basics such as food, water and sleep.
4. Fear! A fresh-faced dweller sees a death claw armed with nothing but a bowie knife is going to s*it himself.
5. Have fun! (If you don't you will be incinerated via an Apature Science incinerator)

Factions:

Don't suppose you'd be willing to consider some ideas I had in regard to critters/factions? If not, no biggie, just curious. ;)

I've already pre-mapped the main story line etc but you're welcome to suggest anything.
Ooc will be up in a few hours.

Please stand by.
I'll give Tech another 24 hours then I'll lead the charge.

Not sure what that means lol.

It's an insult so called 'pro gamers' use against those who don't play many games.
Taris Hyperspeed Lane.
Taris System.

With a cool wisp of blues and whites, the Defender, accompanied by several smaller vessels of varying purpose were spat out of lightspeed. The Defender’s hull, ravaged with carbon scorches and breaches revealed tales of a recent skirmish. However, while the sight of such devastation looked grim, in reality most of it was merely cosmetic and didn’t impede the ship or its crew to any great extent. – For now.

On the bridge a man wearing the purest white uniform that made snow grey in comparison stood at the main view screen, staring at the distant orb that grew only in millimetres with every passing second.

“Sir! We’ve entered the Taris System.” Called an officer whose face was hidden behind an operator’s terminal, not even looking up to view the person he was speaking to.

“Very good.” The man in white said, his eyes fixed to Taris. “Give me a situation update.”

“Yes, sir.” The officer responded, taking a moment to full read his display. “It seems that our last encounter with rebel forces has caused minor damages to our life support systems. While not an immediate urgency, I do recommend we seek repairs as soon as it is viable to do so.”

“And what of the planet and other Imperial forces?”

“Unknown, I’m trying to hail them now.”

“Very good, take us down into low atmosphere. It’ll be easier to repair life support while we’re not relying on it.”

Taris Skyline.
Taris Population Centre Seven.

A shadow casted over the tall skyscrapers of the population centre, the clouds parted and in their wake rested the open hanger entrance of the Defender. Those below looked up in both awe and horror as they feared bombardment from the turbolasers or the bombers that laid dormant. After some time, it was clear that the ship had no ill intentions of the city or its residents below.

“Captain Knight, we have reached low orbit.” The officer cried.

“Very good, launch all TIEs on defensive duty, put a show on for the locals. Let them know we’re not here to subjugate them.” Knight ordered. “Now get those repairs underway and request both Imperial and local support to refill our provisions and resources. Also all non-essential personnel are to be given shore-leave. Let them breathe real air for a while.”

As soon as the orders were given, an estimated fifteen TIE fighters left the three hanger bays and begun to swarm around the Defender and nearby areas, some performing manoeuvres and showing the local population as to how skilled the pilots were, but mainly to show that they meant no harm.

History:
Knight was eight years old during the peak of the Clone Wars, in which living on the Outer Rim often left his homeworld venerable to CiS attacks. It was during an assault carried out by the Separatists that led to the death of his family members and most of the village he lived in. The attack was both unprovoked and held little strategic value. – Knight would never quite recover from this experience. Eventually the Republic reclaimed the world and saved those who were forced to work in labour camps.

Knight was brought back to Coruscant after it was reviled that he would have no future on the world. Here he witnessed the transformation from the Republic to the Galactic Empire. His mind focusing on the propaganda that promised to restore order to the galaxy. And Enlisted into the Imperil Navy when he was fifteen, lying about his age so that he could get the most out of his youth.

When it was discovered that he had lied about his age to get into the academy the board of instructors were to throw him out and issue discipline. However, Admiral Vor Raukken saw both the potential and determination driving Knight and questioned the boy as to why he was so determined to join the navy at such a young age, in which Knight explained what had happened to his family and his homeworld and that civilian life would not be lost if hostile forces couldn’t land on the planet.

With this answer, the Admiral gave Knight an honourer position on his own Imperial-II Class destroyer. Immediately Knight felt that he was in his element, the narrow corridors and cramped command room was of no bother to him. He even attended some high risk mission where his own input gave the Imperials the advantage.

Rukken then as a gift gave Knight his own ship to command, The Defender, a Gladiator-II class Destroyer. Which was often always placed on defensive deployment of worlds and stations. Knight never accepted any rank above Captain, even though he has been offered many times, his main reason was that he wanted to be the one stopping the enemies of the Empire on the battleground rather than locked away in a fortified location, sending troops to their death.

After the weeks following the destruction of the Death Star II, Knight and his crew were still stationed above Naboo as part of the planetary defence. It wasn’t until the third week of hearing nothing from Naval Command and Control, Knight then began to broadcast to nearby Imperial outfits in neighbouring sectors. However, the open comms were a mess, and it seemed the entire battle net was out of sync from itself. That is when Knight made the decision to abandon his post from Naboo and begin to rally all the Imperial forces into one coherent force.

For an entire month, Knight and a small band of Imperial ships that joined him bunny hopped from system to system, evacuating Imperial forces and supplies.

Knight received the responder code for Imperial forces to regroup over Taris, where he awaiting for his briefing as to what will happen next.

If push comes to shove, I'll GM this if Tech is too busy.
