The Fog

Adamar would have blended into the darkness outside the campfire if the light of the flames didn't reflect off his mask. He sat a bit away from the rest of the group, still in conversationally appropriate proximity, but far enough that none would see the contents of his now open book. He slowly turned a page every few minutes as the worn parchment bound in leather rested upon his lap. His head was angled down towards the pages, an onlooker would easily assume him to be reading through the slits in the mask. He made no indications of paying attention to Siana's life-story, but was softly murmuring to himself with seemingly unintelligible words as she described her memories and plans to the group.

I'm just going to say a group of nameless NPCs joined us. That way anyone who joins later can just say they were with us from the beginning.

Operation Shadow Sabre

"Oh, don't say that," Cyprian interjected once again, still standing from his last speech. "Each one of us is the best there is in what we do. The very reason you're here is because of your unique skills. That's only something a 'real person' could pull-off." He swung his finger in a swiping motion to point at everyone in the room quickly. "That goes for all of you. I may be a cocky bastard, but I am very confident in all of you, and you can be sure that I will do my best to keep you all alive. I certainly hope that each of you feel the same way..." His finger dropped as his expression turned very serious. "The eight of us were hand picked out of millions of people. Our missions will not be easy, and 'normal' soldiers would most certainly die if they had to do what we will be doing. So keep your chins up, your minds clear, and shake off the antisocial tendencies. The seven people you see in this room will be your family for quite some time."

At the resolution of his rant, Cyprian sat on the table that had each Sabre's papers on them, pushing sheets out of his way as he sat down. He crossed his arms and examined his companions.

I mean, idk if the person playing the Paladin would like being ripped limb from limb by an army of undead as I magically eviscerate their life-force. That would be fun for me though hahahah.

I don't think a pally would be willing to work with a lich. Most pallies can detect evil at will and would rather smite zombies than work with them lol.

Following Kimset's introduction, Adamar slowly rose from one of the front-row seats. With an eerie aura about him, he strode to where Kimset had stood. Just as before, he clutched his book close to him, and his entirety was covered from head to toe with a hooded robe, mask, leather armor and black wrappings that looked similar to gauze. His dry voice cracked into existence from behind the bronze mask once again.

"My name is Adamar. My knowledge of the supernatural and my skills with magic will be necessary if you wish to survive in the Fog. My reasons for being here are my own, and I care not for any of your motives."

Without waiting for any response, Adamar returned to his seat. Those sitting near him very obviously had faces of concern or suspicion, but none rose their voice against him.

You (along with everyone else) have not received your suit yet. Saffron wouldn't know about that equipment. I thought I had made that clear in the first post, but it's ok. Just edit your post accordingly please.
