That's correct. Doesn't need to be anything long and detailed, just enough to give us a glimpse of who they are and how they came to be.

@Lord Wraith Asking this here because I assume others will likely have the same question: What do we put in the TBD slot in sections such as L I M I T A T I O N S || T B D? I'm not exactly sure as to what is supposed to go there.

@Kuro Obviously Wraith can correct me here, but I believe you would put what the Limitation is and then in the bit below that, you would go into detail. For Example, if a character's limitation is Distance, you might put Distance in TBD and then describe how your character is limited in their powers due to distance.

Pacific Royal Collegiate & University is a roleplay set in an alternate history where an unprecedented coronal mass ejection led to a global blackout in 1967 that resulted in a fraction of the population developing extranormal abilities. This roleplay focuses on a group of these 'Hyperhumans' and their adventures at the titular school.

You will be playing a new student who is coming to Pacific Royal Collegiate & University for the first time. Pacific Royal Collegiate & University, or P.R.C.U. for short, is an exclusive institution to Hyperhumans located off the Western coast of Canada. Characters will have recently enrolled in the Hyperhuman Enforcement, Advisory & Training, or H.E.A.T. Program. Your character will have selected to enroll in this program in the hopes of one day becoming a member of the Hyperhuman Investigative Taskforce, otherwise known as an Agent of H.I.T. The Hyperhuman Investigative Taskforce is a proactive division that seeks out both threats to and threats by Hyperhumans in order to stop them before they can escalate. Throughout the story, your character will be given chances to grow, develop and ultimately unravel various plots, happenings and even mysteries going on around the school, and its immediate partners.

At the start of the roleplay, your character will have just recently moved to campus. Player characters may have had previous interactions during their time at the Intake House or even have been bunked together prior to the start of the game. The In Character proper will kick off on the first day of the fall semester, with characters being awoken to be summoned to the kick-off ceremony. From there, they will be off to their classes. The plot will unfold in part with GM-directed posts taking place elsewhere and those taking place with the cast involved.

The roleplay's 'Out of Character' or 'OOC' will be used for all primary communication. Official GM Announcements will be linked below, with the latest showing in the coloured box. Player-to-player communication should make use of the '@' system whenever possible. If sending a longer message or plot details, PMs are encouraged so as not to spoil other potential readers. It is requested that all players post periods of absence or otherwise unavailability to the OOC.

A Discord server has also been created for this roleplay and will be available for player use. Any official GM announcements will again be made here in the OOC first before being reposted to Discord. All Guild rules and thread etiquette applies in the Discord and abuse of it will result in the server being terminated. The Discord should not be used to pester either the GMs or other players for replies or interaction.

Watch the Earth take them back, and in their deaths they give more to Gotham than they ever did in their lives." You already know my story, you know who I am and everything I've done. I created paradise, it might have been ours forever... And yet... I couldn't stand it. I couldn't stand me. In this iteration, and in this story, Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley is an older woman, in her early-forties. She has spent most of her adult years in and out of Arkham Asylum for only ever trying to protect nature, the world - in her own way, of course. She has always been masterful at obscuring and changing the truth, creating a skewed version of events where she is the hero. Those who had died were simply faceless villains in her battle. Humans were cruel and men especially. She is the hero. Justice League, Injustice Gang... They're all the same really, aren't they? And she's moved through them and others over the years - serving only her own agenda, to push back against humanity and protect the Earth. It was only when she befriended her that Ivy slowed down. The two of them finding peace in each other, so much so that the outside world quietened, in the wake of Despero, things were more still, and they made a home in each other and eventually love grew. But as quickly as it grew, it withered again - or the flames of passion burnt down to the roots - leaving only smoke as she went back to him, and left Ivy with not much more than a mirror to finally see her true self, and all that she'd done. Ivy has been committed to Arkham multiple times in her life. She is easily enraged, and is especially distrusting - especially towards men. Despite her best efforts to redeem herself in recent years and to live peacefully, she can be prone to spells of aggression. But, she still tries again, in spite of each setback. Now, Ivy longs more than ever to create a Garden of Eden away from Gotham, but not before she has faced her true past. Following Ivy, is a Rolodex of enemies from a variety of places - a trail of scorned friends, and ex-lovers. When she sleeps, each spurned face haunts her as if she's on trial and they are her jury. She has spent many of her years in true belief that she is the hero - perhaps this time, she can finally be a real one. P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) ________________________________________________________________________________________ Why wouldn’t I want to play this character? She’s deliciously entertaining, enduring, iconic. And yet there is so much more she can give. I want to play a very human Ivy, as she works through the connections of her life in search of redemption, yet even now, as she attempts to wrong the rights she has caused, she can't help but dig her thorns in. A self-fulfilling prophecy that she'll do it all again anyway. On her journey to forgiveness with some of of the elder heroes, she finds that she is a natural mentor and maternal figure to the younger heroes of tomorrow. Just... take her advice with a pinch of salt sometimes. "I believe the children are our future..." Being older, Ivy sees opportunity in helping the younger heroes. She has a soft spot for them - she wants to keep them away from the path she fell upon, and still tiptoes along the fence of. She has a lot to teach, if only she can focus on it for long enough. All of these young guns can't just rely on Batman, Wonderwoman, and Superman now - can they? What exactly can they really teach them about life? "Everytime you leave..." Who quite knows what happened with Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn? But whatever it was, it was bad. Yet, she wants to make amends to Harley more than anything, to make sure that even if in this life they're not together - that Harley is at least happy, and rid of particular temptations.
