Aura squinted at the imp as it spoke. These beings were notorious liars, at least that is what she was told. But then again, so were Genie according to most people who asked so maybe who was she to judge.

"So you are saying that these goods you have, come with no strings attatched other than some mysterious terms and conditions. Accepting these cloths won't bind us to some favor for your masters, and won't cause us what we would consider harm in any way both mental, physical, and emotional?" The air genasi questioned eyeing the creature suspisiously. She had to admit she wasn't sure how much longer she would be able to handle the cold air much longer. She was used to much warmer weather and they hadn't exactly packed for the cold.

Which reminded her, she would have to ask Jormund later if his northern man were known for bringing the cold with them or if this was something new he had no clue about. She couldn't recall if it has been mentioned before or not.

Aura snorted. "There it is. And what, praytell, might this small deal be?" She squinted at the imp. His words, for once, made her uneasy. Not only did they have genie going to war and potentially keeping tabs on them, but now she learns they also have a fiendish hag and whatever other "master bellow" this imp speaks of. Was this imp the presence she also sensed watching her when she was more or less alone or was it something else entirely?

I think it would be best for me to mention it here for everyone else's posts, Cascade would definitely tell the rest of the party that 'gifts' have a faint celestial aura to them. (Ba Dum Tss)

Once the group was traveling again Aura continued her idol chatter. It was, after all, uncommon for the charasmatic warlock to remain quiet for long. When the air began to turn cold Hawk made a point to crawl under her cloak, claiming it was too much for his reptilian form. Aura knew that was not true but she let him remain there in the mean time as they approached the distant figure.

Soon the figure was no longer distant and offering warm weather gear them. A "gift" from the imp's master. Aura was about to inquire about whom it's master was but Flicker beat her to it, ever the cautious individual they were."Nanna May, as in the same hag that let us kill a bunch of people for her? Yea no thanks, I would much rather freeze to death than take anything offered, with kindness, from her. Gifts from beings like that is how one becomes bound to them and I am already bound to a much better option, thank you. Nobody here, or in Zephyr, needs to owe her any favors." There was an unusually cruel bite to Aura's words that the party rarely heard. The air Genasi was usually far more careful with how her words came out, but it seemed she was not hiding her displeasure in this moment.

Sorry I have been kinda busy keeping up with my own personal stuff. I don't mind if everyone else is chill with it. Sucks ol Hammerhand had to deal with some IRL stuff. I was/am excited to get to know his character. But we can drag his character around until he is ready to return if need be. ^_^

Their birth parents were both drug dealers, though neither actually did the drugs they sold themselves surprisingly. They were terrible parents however, often neglecting the twins or even beating them, and it only got worse as they got older. It wasn’t until the twins were about eight that their parents finally got caught and both arrested. Needless to say this left the two in the foster care system for a while before they were adopted by a couple who couldn’t have children of their own. This didn't happen until the two were about eleven as not many people wanted to keep the twins together. The Daltons took them in and treated the twins as if they had raised the two there whole lives. Luckily the twins had each other so they settled in fairly easily. Though they had developed a bit of an unhealthy co-dependence on each other. The two have since worked through this with the help of therapists and can go about there own business without feeling anxious with the other not there. This allowed the twins to develop there own personalities and interests. Whereas for the most part the twins were inseparable they did have their differences. Maria grew into a very musically talented young female, learning several instruments at once and even taking voice lessons. She loves music, it is her getaway and her stress relief. She also secretly enjoys nerding out about superheroes. This year, for the first time in their entire lives the twins are seperated. Marco managed to get himself into a boarding school with a fantastic dance program after spending all summer studying with Maria to pass the entrance exams.
