Almost done with my guy. All I have left to complete is the background the how his powers awoken.

I hope to have my character sheet done by tomorow. Normally I don't play teenagers but since i've been wanting to be part of an X-Men RP for quite some time now and this one seems to be pretty solid, I decided to overlook this inconvinience. I'll try make him as mature as I possibly can and I also chose the maximum allowed age for him.

I've been missing for quite a couple of months, mostly because I got into Skyrim and those of you who played it know how long and time demanding that game is. Anyway...Now that I managed to detach myself from the game a little bit I decided to get into an RP again for old times sake.

Yeah, don't worry. I just posted something quick to keep the storyline between the 3 of us moving.

@Remipa AwesomeQuick question. Do you happen to be in the same apartment building as Sarah in Wilmington which is about a block away from the house where Desmond and Scout are located? If so, I'll make my next post directed to you...seeing as you used a shotgun which my character would have definitely heard if you are in the same building as her.

@LPFanI'd love some detailed instructions on how you used the cool fonts. Pretty please! :)

Of course! :)

Go to the website I mentioned in the post and you should see some fonts there, lots of fonts, 791 pages of fonts. Pick one you like and click on it. After you do that it should take you to another page. On that page scroll all the way down until you see a grey bar with some options on it: Styles, Waterfall, Character Map, Comments, Gallery and More. You only care about Styles so don't bother with the other one's. In Styles there is a small white bar that says You text here followed by 3 dots. Click on that and write whatever you want. After that proceed to the small slider with two A's on it's edges, one small one big and select the text's size. Once that is over with proceed to those squares which are much like in the old Paint and choose a color you like, the default is black. Once all that is done go below and right click on the text, which is actually an image and copy it's adress.

That should be pretty much it. :)

The man accepted Patrick's handshake as he introduced himself as William Taggart from Wisconsin. As the little girl and William got inside the house, Patrick followed them as he took one more look behind at the street which was awfully quiet. Once he was inside the house he made himself confortable on an armchair and started eyeballing William's rifle. "Nice Mosin." He said while changing his view towards William. "My father used to have one of those too. Bought it for one hundred bucks fifteen years ago. It's probably still somewhere back home. I only took this revolver when I left Miami. The kukri I took from a half eaten dead guy's hand." He said smiling as he looked down, rubbed his beard and looked back at William.

:) Well there is a website called 1001fonts.com that has hundredrs and hundreds of fonts you can choose from. Go pay it a visit since you obviously seem interested and if you need help let me know and i'll give you detailed instructions.

Note to @LPFan regarding Taggart's trigger-discipline for Mosin-Nagants.

I forgot to mention him taking his finger away from the trigger while moving towards the pillar because it never was anywhere near the trigger in the first place*. Hopefully this tiny detail won't change much.

*The bolt-safety of the Mosin is rather awkward and stiff, seldom used. 99% of it is a very strong trigger-discipline whenever the chamber is loaded.

All that said, Taggart is too blind to see whether or not Willis is practicing same trigger-indiscipline, and only knew there was a gun pointed at him, so it would have probably taken holstering the gun for him to calm-down anyways.

Now that you mentioned it, Patrick didn't had his finger on the trigger either. I think i'll add that to my last post.

Patrick kept his finger off the trigger, that way preventing an accident from happening. Afterall he wouldn't want to shoot the guy without no good reason. His distrustful nature forced him to ask for the man's name although, even if he knew who he was it wouldn't matter much. The girl scared, begged both of them to lower their weapons saying that they would bring the monsters, probably reffering to the walkers. Then Patrick realised that the little girl had a point, even though he had no intention of shooting the guy. He wasn't a freakin' bandit. He encountered some of those and they were terrible. The man said that he was merely passing through and then asked Patrick if he was the girl's father.

Patrick lowered his revolver as he tugged it back in the holster and took a deep breath and closing his eyes while doing so. He watched the girl head to the door and opening it a bit, probably wanting to open it and get inside. He turned around and leaned down on one knee, grabbing her softly by her elbows. "Don't worry! Nobody's gonna kill anybody. Not right now anyway. We'll save our bullets for the walkers." He said as he petted her gently on her head and kissed her on her forehead. Then he raised up and turned around facing the other guy. After expelling some air and looking down with his hands on his hips he extended his right hand to him. "Hello! I'm Patrick. And no i'm not the girl's father. I'm just...passing through, like you. I left my car outside of town and came in for some scavenging."

As he slowly made his way into the living room, Patrick started heading to the outside as it seemed that the girl voice came from there. However before he could make one step further, his attention was attracted by scratches and growls that came from the bathroom. "Oh God, please tell me that he's locked up in there." Said Patrick, reffering to what he thought was a walker. As he started heading slowly towards the bathroom door, the noises seemed to stop. As he gotten close he lowered his revolver and put his left hand on the door, followed by his left ear. Punches against the door and more growls startled him as he backed away with a frightened look on his face and realising that the door is locked. Most likely the guy that was inside had the presence of mind to lock himself up before transforming. Most likely he did it so he won't have to hurt someone. But who? And is that someone still here?

After initially wanting to head back to the kitchen, take some food and leave, his attention was again attracted by the same girly voice, as this time she said "Daddy?" With his revolver in hand, Patrick headed outside but he stopped after hearing another male voice saying something about why isn't the girl somewhere safe. Gripping hard on his Smith & Wesson 627 Performance Center, Patrick makes one step outside stumbling upon a scene with a dead walker all covered up, another guy, an adult male with an old Mosin Nagant rifle in hand and what was probably the most beautiful little girl he ever saw in his life, sitting down puzzled and scared on the porch. Patrick imidieatly aims his revolver at the other man with the Mosin. "Who the hell are you?" He asked with a serious look on his face.

Basically, everyone is just meeting up with each other in/around Wilmington. I think the only exception with regards to setting is the group consisting of Dwyn and Andrey (who are in the woods in Pennsylvania, I think?) and Justin, who is.. near Ottawa? Anywho, if you could, please start around Wilmington, either by meeting one of the current groups (Desmond, Scout and Sarah; John and Ana; Conner and Ved; Michael and Jazileena) or one of the characters currently alone: Wilhelm, Gabel.. maybe others? Sorry if I forgot anyone. But yeah, just work on getting your character linked up with someone else for now, and then I'm gonna start working on bringing everyone together.

Edit: @LPFan I knew I recognized your name! You were part of the last roleplay I GMed haha. Easy Money, a few months back?

To everyone (with regards to that whole "bringing everyone together" thing): I'll be posting tonight, not as Desmond, so pay attention to the post because it will impact like 75% of you

Thanks a lot Fortunes. I wrote my intro post and decided to hook up with the little girl, Gable. And yeah I was in the Easy Money RP but I forgot who the GM was. Anyways, good to see you again. :)
