Current Hey, I hate to say this, but I am probably leaving this place for the forseeable future. Those who are waiting for me on RPs can just... stop waiting, I guess. Sorry, all.

Well, @Truant, I believe what's wrong with you is in the name... your ability is Truant, you only get to act every other turn.

@Ampharos Boy, I guess that means you're going to get cave adaptation by the time this whole thing is done, and you'll vomit as soon as you leave your house, lol.

You ever read one of your RPs from years ago and just laugh at how bad it is?

Dragons vs unicorns, huh? I'm horribly biased in this case 'cause I HATE horses, so... dragons.

My character's pretty much ready to go.
"...and that's why we should all try to find Frisk," I finished my speech, but, unfortunately, the rest of the college wasn't too impressed. They all laughed, and made fun of me after it, with a few of them saying things like "Yeah, I bet he took ONE class on public speaking, and he thinks he's good at it," and "HA! This just further proves that David's horrible at everything he tries," oddly, though, some of them, particularly the humans, seemed to say things that would imply that they've heard this exact speech before. Odd... maybe I should look into this... I thought before I saw Erion, as well as an unknown girl run towards the Ebott forest. I used my wings to fly over there, myself, catching up to them, and asking "So, Erion, mystery girl, what are we doing? Are we trying to find Frisk? 'Cause I think he might be underground again," I had a slight feeling that I've said this before, but that disappeared pretty quickly when I saw the mystery girl stop... only for me to crash into a tree that she was probably going to run into. "Uuugh... my beak..." I moaned as I got up, and dusted myself off. Truth be told, I was pretty seriously damaged from that crash, but I wouldn't let anyone see that, or worse, the subpar magic I would use to try to heal myself. I gathered all my strength, and tried to form my beak into what passes for a smile for bird monsters. "If that's what you're trying to do, you can count on me to help!... mostly... anyways, I'll try my best to help," I finally said, as if to try to put an end to the awkward silence.
Just a quick result thing:
The princess tried to push Backstabs into the dust!
Princess' roll: 20 (+4 STRmod) = 24
Backstabs' roll: N/A

The princess tried to push Deravan into the dust!
Princess' roll: 2 (+4 STRmod) = 6

and now Evanist needs to do a quick STR-based roll... though, it shouldn't be hard.
Deravan found a particularly interesting bow on the archer's body, which, I suppose, didn't really surprise me, and he handed that bow off to Trey, who examined it closely enough to figure out that the bow would double one's agility... but at a cost of some sort. It seemed nice, but unfortunately, it didn't look like anyone on the team could actually use the bow, except, maybe, for Miles. When he was questioned about it, however, Miles declined, claiming that he didn't know how to use one. I would have said something about that, but, then again, why would he have any reason to lie to us? Feeling more rested, I said "Alright, let's go, it shouldn't be too far from here," and continued onward, towards the dust. Soon enough, it stopped being a desert, and trees started appearing, again, signifying that we were getting close to the former kobold village, and once we got to where it normally would be, all I could see was dust, and rotten trees. "It... it was the only kobold village to withstand a human attack... and now look at it, reduced to nothing thanks to this dust," I stayed almost frighteningly close to the edge of the dust, trying not to step in it, and end up like that dragon, however, the princess had other plans. She pushed me right into the dust, making me fall face-first in the stuff. I got up quickly, and panicked, but the dust didn't seem to cling to me, like it did, say, a piece of bread, or a normal kobold. "Hm... interesting..." the princess said as she tried to push Deravan and Backstabs into the stuff, as well. She seemed to catch Backstabs off guard, and she ended up in the stuff, as well... but, just like me, nothing seemed to happen to her, at all.
So, uh, @Guardian Angel Haruki, do you think we could start?

It was a long, hard battle with Giratina, and I didn't know if it was going to end, but, eventually, after another one of my attacks, which he didn't seem to respond to, I saw a bright light, a rip in the space behind Giratina, and an opportunity. I made a mad dash for what seemed like a rip in the universe, knowing that Giratina couldn't do any damage to me as I did so, and I somehow found myself on a somewhat tough hospital bed, my vision blurry, I could make out the colors white and pink. "Celes...?" I called out to the shape forming in front of me. Once I could see that it was, indeed, Celes, I got up, and asked "Was that... all a dream? Did we even fight Reshiram? Did we team up with Anthony?" of course, once she got close enough, I tried to hug her, still recovering from what just happened. "Celes... I don't know what happened back there, but thank you for not leaving me alone," I didn't know what else to say to her, though I did notice an oddly familiar wooden badge in one of her ribbons. The doctor finally came in, and she seemed... somewhat happy, maybe? "Oh... good... you've... made... a... recovery... but... you... still... need... more... rest..." she explained extremely slowly, which was annoying to me. I tried my best to hide my annoyance with that, and she left the room... apparently, I didn't need rest badly enough that I couldn't take on a mission of some sort. Once we were alone, again, I asked Celes "Celes... are you sure we're doing the right thing by taking these crystals? I... I'm not so sure, myself, anymore..."

I was about to use Muddy Water on the rockruff, but it seems like Josh had it covered with nothing more than a single Hydro Pump expertly aimed at the tiny rock-type dog... poor thing didn't have a chance, but I just shrugged, and continued on, Daniel following behind me. Reshiram seemed to answer Miles' sarcastic comment with "Indeed! I hope my brother won't be too mad at us for that wall of flame, as well," surely, Reshiram knew that Miles was being sarcastic, right? Either way, continuing on lead us to a slope downwards. I tried my best not to slip on the ice, again, but, unfortunately, I had little to no traction on this stuff, and I slid all the way down as if it were a slide, or something. Daniel just flew alongside me, probably just making sure I don't hurt myself, and it seemed like Reshiram was having some trouble with the lower ceiling around the slope, but he made sure to let everyone else go in ahead of him, just in case he couldn't follow us. The other side of the slope seemed to present us with an icy maze, of sorts... the ice was also clear, and reflective, making it even harder to figure things out... and worse, I could see some shadows just beyond the first turns, or at least, where I thought the first turns were. "Hm..." I seemed to wonder out loud, before finally coming to the conclusion of "Maybe we should try to see if we can get Reshiram through here... I'd rather not have to deal with a maze of mirrors, and invisible walls, especially if one of us is capable of melting the maze," I then looked back to see Reshiram still struggling... I suppose a larger size has some disadvantages.

After a short while, I came to my senses, just to see Dexter attacking our sleeping client. "Dexter! Rebecca! That attack was my fault, I should have known better than to try to shake a psychic type awake," I then tried to have our client talk, and even though he took an ember to his back, he simply muttered "Mister Badguy couldn't have possibly been in that room, and these mints prove nothing... stop wasting the court's time... I find the defendant guilty..." he... he was still asleep after that. After getting shaken, and taking a super-effective attack. "Rebecca... you wouldn't happen to have enough extra money for a double-chesto coffee would you? Or... failing that, some smelling salts, perhaps?" I then wondered if they actually heard what I said, but unfortunately, I couldn't quite recall what I said, myself. The bronzor just floated there, almost completely unresponsive to the world around him, and I really have to wonder why he decided to just fall asleep in the cafe, of all places. Surely he didn't live here, right? I then had to wonder what, exactly COULD get a response out of him, and pictured a few humorous events that he could probably sleep through. With how this guy sleeps, the entire cafe could be on fire, and he'd just sleep through it, waking up in a broken building, wondering what the heck happened... was among the situations I thought of while he slept there, muttering about some sort of court case involving a washing machine, somehow.

Once Larry came in and shouted everyone awake, I heart Tini say something about 'almost having him', and I asked "Were you dreaming about fishing, Tini?" of course, that only assumed that anyone on this planet could understand Tini's dreams. Eralion seemed to mumble and grumble a bit about Larry's yelling, to which I responded with "Well, it's kind of his job to be loud... that being said, I wouldn't mind if he didn't yell at us every morning," he then said good morning to me, and I added "And a good morning to both of you, of course," with my unusual happiness and pep. With that same pep, I decided to check out the job board for anything remotely interesting, and I found, on the outlaw board, an all too familiar gallade. Last time one of us saw him, he was with my father... this... couldn't be good. The mission statement read...

'WANTED: Unknown Gallade
(Insert picture here)
Location: Mt. Pinnacle
Bounty: 4,000 poke
Reason: Has been suspected of kidnapping, torture, and possible murder.'

This was a bit of a departure from the usual two-bit con men, or petty criminals that were usually on the board, and his crimes seemed to fit the brief and not very detailed description of his actions in my father's temporary house. I hesitated for a moment before picking it up, just to make sure that nobody else would go there, and try to take on this mission.
In short order the group that Nick tried to talk to ballooned in size and diversity, there was even one human holding some weird stick claiming to be a cleric, as well as one holding a spoon-looking thing riding a dragon... even if the dragon seemed smaller than he was used to, and lacked two of its legs. Wow... so many people... what to say to them? Are they expecting me to say anything? Nick thought as his eyes moved to look at every one of the group's members. Nick tried to say something for the longest time, but just couldn't find the words... and even if he did, surely they'd be lost in such a crowd. Apparently, the one on the strange dragon could cook, which just made Nick wonder if humans didn't eat their meat raw, and a few others started asking about food for their journey. I could hunt... but it sounds like we'll be on one of those wooden things, a ship, they called it? Anyways, it seems like we'll be on one of those for a while... and I don't know if I could follow one of those in the water... sure, I could swim, and maybe even catch a few fish, but I don't think I can get back up once I had to. Nick considered before he spoke, the consideration made his words die in his throat, again, leaving him speechless, once more. Nick then noticed that everyone save for himself, the 'cleric', and two others had a weapon... the two others seemed to hold books, instead, which just had Nick question "Wait... shouldn't you guys have weapons? I'm not sure if books would work too well in a fight,"

So many people in one place was almost too much for Nick, but somehow, he managed to stay there, and look as if he was having a good time, when, if this were any other situation, he surely would have fled, by now. Food seemed to become the topic once more, and Nick accidentally blurted out "Once we're on land, I could hunt for the group," this... was probably a mistake on his part, as he was almost certain that he would have to find something bigger than a racoon to hunt... and he had to somehow get a dragon food. Nick didn't know what a dragon could or would eat, and add to the fact that he wasn't sure which kinds of meat tasted better 'cooked', or what the humans would even want to eat. Now that he said it, he couldn't really take that back... perhaps he would find out what the humans hunted on their own, and just mimic them. If they hunted deer, he would try to do the same. Either way, Nick knew that he wouldn't be the one to try to get a boat for the group, since he assumed that they knew he had at least some sort of issue with talking to humans, and given that this was a human area... he could only assume that the salesman would be human, as well. Nick then recalled someone saying something about not wanting the money, and he responded to that with "I don't think I would need any of the gold, either. Um, I'm sure it looks nice, but I don't know what I'd do with it," of course, it had already been a while since they said that, so it all probably sounded disjointed and random to everyone else.

(I'm not actually sure who I should and shouldn't tag with this... too many posts between my posts.)
In that case... @Bright_Ops, my post included an interaction with your character.
I put the mention here because it wouldn't work if I edited it in.
Wait, was I supposed to tag people in my IC posts?
Before Nick could enter any of the houses, which he still called 'dens', a whole bunch of people started gathering somewhere, and oddly few of them even noticed him. he noticed them, of course, and he was amazed. Humans... and this many, too! Nick thought as he walked over towards where everyone was gathering, still in his fox form as usual, of course, that being said, he wasn't quite aware that he HAD a human form, yet, and he sat down and listened as a short man shouted through a metal tube to tell everyone about some approaching evil... and they were offering gold, oddly enough, for any evidence of a strange army. Nick had heard of armies before, they were simply what they called a huge group of humans with that metal stuff, but this dark army was apparently strange, somehow. That's just about when he recalled that the shouting guy said something about them destroying an entire island... yeah, that WOULD be cause for alarm, and if this gold stuff could be traded for anything, then that would be why they were offering so much for information about it. Nick's attention eventually turned to a couple of humans, one wearing a robe, and one wielding a sword... he overheard a bit of the conversation that implied that these guys were going to fight against these 'shadowy buggers', and from the context, Nick figured out that he meant that 'strange army' that destroyed that island. Nick made his way to those two, apparently scaring a few people along the way, and he sat down near the sword-wielding one, and simply said "If those things are what I think they are, then I'll help as much as I can,"

Nick didn't exactly realize that these people might not be used to the idea of a talking fox, so he just sat there, waiting for a reply while he tried to take in the sights and smells around him. It smelled mostly of sweat, and it seemed like the crowd of people blocked most of the sights, unfortunately, as they seemed to be densely packed into the center of town, where the announcement was made. The people were wearing all sorts of different clothes, and colors, implying that they had various different roles, or varying amounts of wealth. Due to Nick moving his line of sight around, it probably seemed like he wasn't paying attention to anything anyone was saying, but he was still waiting for some sort of response from the humans he spoke to, earlier, and once he heard them speak, he would make sure to keep his ears tilted towards them, just so he could hear it, unaware of the fact that him moving his head and eyes away from the group was probably seen as rude to them. Huh... that stench is overpowering... where is it coming from? Ugh, it smells like it's coming from everywhere, and worse, I can't see through this wall of humans. Wait, they didn't trap me, did they? I hope not, but maybe I should start thinking about an escape plan just in case they did. Nick thought to himself as he searched the wall of humans for any different smells, or anywhere that wasn't blocked by them... a truly fruitless endeavor, to be sure.
