Current Hey, I hate to say this, but I am probably leaving this place for the forseeable future. Those who are waiting for me on RPs can just... stop waiting, I guess. Sorry, all.

Well, @Truant, I believe what's wrong with you is in the name... your ability is Truant, you only get to act every other turn.

@Ampharos Boy, I guess that means you're going to get cave adaptation by the time this whole thing is done, and you'll vomit as soon as you leave your house, lol.

You ever read one of your RPs from years ago and just laugh at how bad it is?

Dragons vs unicorns, huh? I'm horribly biased in this case 'cause I HATE horses, so... dragons.

@Kamen Evie, and @Kabling, we're waiting on both of you.

For a short while, nothing seemed to happen, well, nothing other than Ravi shaking his head to tell Trevor that he would be keeping the berries in his mouth. As a response, Trevor just shrugged, and kept moving on, assuming Ravi had a few good reasons why he would continue to hold them there, and trusting that he won't simply eat all the berries. Soon enough, the group encountered a furfrou, a later-generation pokemon, but, since there weren't any barbers, or, at least, since Trevor assumed there weren't any, the poodle-like pokemon had rough, shaggy fur. Trevor was trying to get into some sort of fighting stance when the dog finished off a buneary... one that simply disintegrated into dust particles... shortly after, the furfrou shouted for the team to run, and Trevor could see why... there were more of them, and only a handful of us. He would have urged the furfrou to join him, but, unfortunately, Trevor thought he might be in the middle of a last stand situation to try his best to save whoever might be in the forest and NOT a grey zombie, so, he just nodded, and tried to get back to the cave as quickly as possible, only to find his teammates fighting one of them. Celina had the right idea, and just tried her best to use peck, while Nathan seemed to be taunting it... maybe he had a trick in mind, or something. As soon as he got close enough, Trevor tried to use scratch on the creature, doing as much damage as he knew how to with his claws... at least, for now.

While he was fighting, he remembered the poodle pokemon, and that seemed to prove a few things. One, they weren't alone in this place, which Trevor had assumed from the start, two, that the pokemon were capable of some form of speech, and three, the fact that there were at least some pokemon out there who were ready and willing to help other pokemon, despite any differences in species, which may indicate that they have at least SOME culture and morals to begin with. This was all good news, however, the zombies certainly were NOT. Trevor hoped that these things didn't spread via biting, or Nathan might be done for... or even spread via touch, lest Trevor be the first to go...

It took a bit of time, but Ravi got up the tree, and started slapping berries down with his tail. Trevor scrambled to catch as many as he could, and... while he missed a few, he did an okay job of not letting them splatter, at least. Something started howling as Ravi made his way back down, and he suggested that they should go back to the cave. "Yeah, that's probably a good idea," Trevor agreed as he started heading back... sure, there were a few of them, but if the enemy was the pokemon he was thinking about, at least one of them would be at a type disadvantage, and potentially unable to do anything back. As Trevor led the group back to the cave, he noticed that Ravi had something in his mouth, and Trevor asked "Hey... would you mind if I carried that back? I mean, it'd be easier to carry with arms, no offense," Trevor was then reminded of the fact that there was a thunderstorm, and remembered when Lance said he could see some lights in the distance... perhaps that wasn't civilization, after all, but merely a downed, burning tree. With the rain, unless it was a big fire, it wouldn't burn for too long, which meant that the light would eventually dim, and go away... perhaps there wasn't any sort of civilization here, now, but Trevor could always try to start one, at least... of course... first, they'd have to to get this food back, and, you know, survive. One step at a time, but maybe one day things will be different around here... maybe one day.
The spider hissed and screeched at every fire attack that hit it, and it seemed like it was going to go down, at least, until Shaula came in, and put out the flames. Earlier, she said she never said anything about lizard people, but... if she was a conspiracy theorist looking at a dragon, Trevor was certain she was at least THINKING it. Either way, the spider, now a bit more confident about attacking the group went right for Trevor, fangs-first, and unfortunately, he wasn't paying much attention, since he was trying to tell Shaula that the enemy being on fire was a GOOD thing, so, he took some damage from the venomous fangs, but... oddly enough, he didn't even feel like he was poisoned. Aerin then came through the portal, and seemed to be concerned that this might be a former human, as well, and, despite the hissing and screeching, Trevor thought that might still be at least SOMEWHAT possible, so, he asked "Hey, were you a human, before, too? If so, um... sorry about the fire, and we'll heal you up," the spider gave no response, save for another screech... this time, a few tiny spiders seemed to surround it, and the three tiny spiders seemed to be using some sort of weird... shield spell on the main spider, at this point. Trevor tried to ignore the shield spell, and just tried to breathe fire on the main spider, again, but... nothing happened. Seemed like the shield was at least good enough to protect it against fire attacks, unfortunately. Trevor then thought back to the video games he's played, and tried to remember if he had seen something like this before... a big thing that's suddenly protected by a bunch of smaller, probably weaker things... hmmm.
@Gavin

I was just thinking that Gren would follow you guys. He’s here for adventure after all and chasing after a bad guy Wurmple sounds like the bee’s knees. You can go ahead and post.

Uh, yeah... one thing. Magma's a salandit... and NOT a slugma.
Just a note, @Shadow Dragon, while we're fighting, at least, it should be one post per person between the GM's posts, okay?
The wind picked up, and thunder boomed as Ravi climbed up the tree. Trevor was just about to ask him to do that, er, again, but it seems like he already got the memo. Ravi was getting close to the nest, and was climbing oddly quickly for someone who was slowed down by the cold. "Come on, you can do it!" Trevor cheered, though, he was almost certain Ravi was too involved with his task to notice... Trevor then kept a lookout for any larger birds that might try to... honestly rightfully... defend their young from the invader. Sure, in the games, all pokemon more or less ate the same stuff, just basic berries that healed status effects, healed health, or did nothing of value in a pokemon battle, but it was much more likely that a snake would eat an egg than a watmel berry, considering the fact that ALL snakes were carnivores in the real world... or, at least, the ones Trevor was familiar with, and, while other options might have been available, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, as the saying goes. Trevor kept his lookout, and assumed that Vi was doing the same, though, he wouldn't be too surprised if she was just goofing off, considering the few things he'd gathered about her, up to this point. Trevor was prepared to shout at Ravi if he saw anything, but, considering the rain, it seemed a bit... unlikely that he'd see anything, even if they were approaching, but at least the thunder finally woke him up, so, there was that, at least.

There are probably some, yes, and those warped, semi-human bodies might give a certain bunch of bad apples some bad ideas.

HOWEVER, there are none of those in the area where Jason and Trevor are at the moment, and the reason why will be revealed later.
Things... seem to have gotten a bit out of hand, though, it seemed like this was going to happen if he kept Jason around the newly introduced conspiracy nut-case named Shaula. Mia introduced herself, and even showed us a bit of what she can do, something involving plants, and apparently healing while Celina did the same as she introduced herself, showing off that she, too, can draw things into existence. It was around that time that Trevor noticed the ghostly, snakelike dragon that floated around, nearby, his eyes a piercing yellow color... though, thankfully, Trevor heeded his words and tried to look away before anything happened to him. Let's see... we've got quite a few people here, but... I need to know how many are going to come with me. It... seems like, like it or not, I'll have to head through that portal. Of course, I could always check with my arm to see if it leads to space, since THAT would just be awful. Trevor thought as he tried to explain a few things. He started off by saying "Yes, as far as I'm aware, we all used to be human. I'm also pretty sure that lizard people weren't ever secretly in control of our government, or something," to Shaula, later pointing out "Yeah, I think magic is most certainly a 'thing', now. It wasn't, before this, but hey, I can shoot lightning, and probably breathe fire now, so... I'm not complaining," to the shadowy dragon. Trevor then took a deep breath to try to calm his nerves, and said "I'm not sure where this goes, but it's where the thieves went, so... I'm heading in. Anyone in this group is free to follow, or stick around, and either way, good luck," after that, he checked the portal with his left hand and arm, and it didn't feel cold enough to be space, so, he jumped through...

On the other side of the portal seemed to be a bunch of underground hallways, and rooms, arranged in a way where most people would get lost, and worse, it was dark. Whatever lurked here either didn't need light, or was hindered by it, but Trevor still needed it to see. In desperation, Trevor tried his best to breathe fire, and somehow, he actually managed to light the place up for a bit as a stream of fire went from his open mouth... only to illuminate a spider that was at LEAST four feet tall, and whose fangs seemed to drip with venom, despite its hulking size, at least, for an arthropod.
Did anyone die when the meteor exploded, or were they all transformed?

Quite a few people died off, either from the chaos, or just from what was intended to be a transformation. Very young, and very old people tended to not survive.
