@Scio - Well... not sure! I had the thought that Rosa was maybe in the group the day before? And had already 'impressed' Varus. But maybe she (and @Baklava's & @Zero Hex's characters) were the only ones? So they were ordered or told to chill out until the current group came. Just a thought. Otherwise... I'm not entirely sure! ^.^

Could I ask what color name or hex code everyone is using for their text color? I'm trying to figure out what I want Rhian's to be and I think it would save me and the other newbies some time in having a nice list. In reading the IC, I've managed to gather a few... well... more than a few... but I know I'm missing some.

Rosaleen 'Rose' Adams

Age: 18

~Personality~

Rosa is is what you might call a protector - adores peace when possible, but is more than willing to spill her own blood to protect the innocent. Beyond this, she is a somewhat quiet, but still sociable. There is a unique sensitivity to negative emotions however and at times it can be easy to upset her, yet somehow she still has a hidden resolve deep inside her that drives her determination when she has her focus on something. She is very friendly and kind to others as well. However her quirks should be mentioned too - while she is extremely intelligent and can understand and analyze complex situations easily, she also frustrates people because of her consistent need to know 'why.' Her insistent need is mostly based on seeing patterns in the world and has a hard time understanding things without knowing why they happen.

~History~

Rosa's life is a mundane but tragic life. From the moment she entered the world, she was faced with isolation and abandonment. Being raised by a single mother, Rosa was often a quiet child that spent more hours on the computer than she did out in the sun. Friends were few and far between, only lasting until they got fed up with Rosa's particular 'quirks.' It only grew worse as Rosa discovered her attraction to girls, which typically alienated the boys more so because they're flirting usually did very little for the pretty girl.

As she came into her teenage years, she began to develop her powers. This only made things worse since her mother didn't have any explanations or the money to attend to Rosa's "issues." Before switching to being home schooled (mostly by herself), she would often cause unintentional destruction to public property. This added to the amount of bills her mother needed to pay so when a year later, the Four Winds extended the invitation, Rosa felt obligated to accept. She didn't want to burden her mother anymore and they had never been close as it was.

~Skills~

Rosa is extremely talented at analyzing just about anything. She is good at logic puzzles, seeing patterns, computers, and forming quick bonds with animals. She's also an amazing organizer and very good with numbers. Which lends itself to combat in a more subtle sense, in that she can analyze and more easily predict movements on the fly. This makes it noticeably more difficult to surprise her. Besides this, her strongest skill is her ability to learn and adapt to other skills she's never been taught before.

~Unstable Energy~

Conjuration

As of right now, Rosa is capable of summoning balls of unstable energy in her hands. They fluctuate, often making them seem ricky and dangerous, but somehow Rosa makes it work without much error. She normally flings them at opponents when need be and upon contact, usually explode in an array of wispy-like energy ribbons. The ribbons usually tend to burn like fire (when passing through living beings) without actually setting things on fire, while the explosion itself acts much like a normal fireball, except that it's colored silver and blue.

Yes pwease. ^.^ I was just thinking I needed to find a slice of life type role-play that I could somehow inject adventure into. Namely because I love adventure but I also adore romance~ :3 However this seems to fit perfectly! :D Plus I can have a witch character, which is freakin' awesome! <3

Bludhaven Chronicles

Rose blinked in surprise. She hadn't honestly expected Luna to take the phone so easily and gracefully, making her give Luna a curious glance before looking to Nevan for a moment. Though as soon as she heard Luna asking to put her number in it, she felt a definite blush glow on her face, but tried her best to keep her composure. "Uh.. y-yeah, sure.." She bit her lip for a brief moment and went about typing it in before handing it back and smiling shyly at the promise.

Though her gaze wandered over to Joshua for a moment and raised a slight eyebrow. 'Pride issues?' she asked herself, catching bits of the man's body language and emotion - though not nearly on any level like Luna. Her eyes then went to the beautiful demoness and smiled slightly, as if quietly urging the woman to then offer the prince the unclaimed phone. Deciding not to say much, she slowly undid her cloak - nervously even - and let it hit the floor before kicking it away. The reveal was that of prismatic, glossy dragonfly wings that were definitely large enough to allow Rose to fly. Besides Nevan and Joshua, she was the only meta-being with obvious mutations, but she did feel a bit more comfortable showing off with those two in the room.

Shifting a bit before shooting Luna a glance, her attention was grabbed when Chris poured all of the com devices on the table, making Firefly widened her eyes slightly in interest. It was amazing how fast he had put them together just in one day! Though they were obviously better than phones, she was still happy to have offered hers to Luna. Then shortly after, Simbi spilled potions onto the table, drawing even more interest from the redhead. "Wow..." was all she could say as she gingerly went up to the table and thumbed both the coms and the magical potions.
