Heads up I'll be moving the action along with a GM post when @POOHEAD189 has had the chance to drop in, or alternatively tommorrow at the latest.
@Dark Cloud you guys share one dungeon. There can be IC rivalries so long as things go smoothly OOC. Overall your characters are going to want to push the goals of the Dungeon along so you can expand, get better supplies, gears and power. It's fine if characters disagree and there are power struggles - you are monsters after all - but generally speaking it's unwise to go undermine your fellow Dungeon Lords's goals.

For one the world of the Light is not friendly towards monsters.

last call for locations / monsters / factions / good-guy folk before the map is revealed.

I can change some things later if people realise there's something they're hankering for that's missing, however doing so now saves me some time as well as makes the map more customised for you guys. For example @Dark Cloud do you want a dragon on the map?

Usually we would design the sandbox together, however considering the worries about character creation, I thought it'd be easier to simplify the process a bit so we can get into the action quicker. If the general consensus is a more hands on experience though I would be more then happy to design it as a group.

Right now here's what we're looking at:
- Enchanted Forest, Plains, Tropical coastline with some islands, cursed lands, mountain lake, waterfall, swampy inlet, magical blasted lands
- Humans / dwarves / halflings / gnomes / elves / blind warrior monks / Holy Order of prudence / kobold opportunists / demonic banquet / pirates / peasants / nobles / djinn / vampire / ghosts / witches coven
@Dark Cloud Kobolds sound good!

There are mechanics for disputes. I ask you don't kill or maim another player without OOC permission.

I should also note, later in the roleplay, if anyone gets a hankering to play a different type of character, you can retire your character into the dungeon and make a new character. I don't think it'll be relevant but the options there down the road. So long as people are playing one character at a time.

@VeyrinDay I'm happy with any tense except second to be honest! && you get to roll your own dice :D I actually really like the Shock vs Muscles idea.

We're currently in the intro so we're not in lurking just yet.

@Kenshi glad to hear the dice thing worked! I'm so sorry d&d didn't pan out :c

alrighty, catching up on stuff I missed <3
sweet probably have a human healer, sheet up tommorrow!
@Dark Cloud small backwater town sounds great, if you want it to be a neutral faction it can be any race other then human/elves/dwarves/halflings. Let me know if you have a preference. Perhaps a Ratfolk, Witch or Frogmen could work, or something else entirely.

@Lucius Cypher abandoned lab filled with industrial waste is right on theme. Perhaps an old workshop dungeon that collapsed in on itself after an experiment gone wrong but still has some denizens meandering about. or it could belong to the Light, an old wizard's lab gone horribly wrong.

@Kenshi That sounds like an absolute blast! Let me know how it goes and what hijinks you get up to
It's looking great! I'm starting to get pretty excited :DD @POOHEAD189's almost ready to go too. IC is up if people want to make their introductory posts, though I ask people don't get too ahead before Poo's character is finalised.

In other news, I'm taking requests for what sort of areas you want on the region map. If there's anything in particular you want to see in the local area - like a swamp or tropical island off the coast or a volcano or something - do let me know.
@Kuro You gather various edible mushrooms, this could keep you alive for a while longer.

@Dark Cloud You gather some mud. You think if you let it dry out in the sun, you could make some rudimentary bricks.

@Kenshi you find some edible lichen and even some fruit to share with the other gnomes.

@BrobyDDark you decide to hold an election, if you can get the other Gnomes to listen to you.

Resources:
9 / 25 Food
1 / 15 Mud

Do one thing:
>[] Forage for Food
>[] Gather Mud

>[] Craft: Mud Brick (requires:1 Mud)

Please make a Dice Campaign, we're be linking them in OOC or at the end of our posts. If you already have a Dice Campaign feel free to use that one, we just need to roll on rpguild so we can link rolls and such.

Here's a quick tutorial on using the Dice on RPGuild!

At the top of the homepage opposite the Newcomer section, click Dice:

You'll come to the campaign screen with a list of all the site user's dice. You can only roll in your own campaign so click New Campaign at the top right. In future, you'll always be able to find your campaigns at the very top.

Open up your campaign and fill in what type of dice roll you are doing. The amount of points you have in a stat is equal to how many six sided dice you roll. For example, 3 in skulk? You roll 3d6. 2 in invoke? you roll 2d6.

For example, what if Thrunaar the character wanted to smash the adventurer in front of him? He puts 2d6 in one box, and tags it something like 'Rolls to Smash!' or whatever will remind him what he's doing.

The total it gives us is 6, but actually we need to see what the highest number rolled out of the pool is. A 6 could mean we rolled a 3 and a 3, which would be a failure. or a 4 and a 2, which would be a mixed success. So go ahead and click the Dice ID (in this case, 20850) to see what we rolled.

In my case Thrunaar rolled a 5 and a 1, which is a success. I can now link these numbers in chat to share with everyone:

A 5 and 1. I didn't doctor the screenshots, mwhahaha

&& thats how you set up dice in rpguild.
@VeyrinDay go for it!
