1. My poor choice in my character's quirk, making it very bland and otherwise not exactly fitting

Between his line of work and his life outside it, Theodore needs to keep a perfect balance in the way he acts and who he is. To divide his life like this however, is not a simple task especially for a young man who's only now discovering that life is more than killing and studying to keep the facade of an average boy untouched. Due to this, Theodore avoids all avoidable social interactions and when he's confronted with unavoidable ones, he becomes visibly uncomfortable - most people assume that he is just shy and timid, but the gruesome reality is that the boy's inner demons become all wild and volatile whenever he needs to talk with people. It takes more than a glance to realize this, but some people can easily notice that it isn't shyness or something akin to that. The boy doesn't blush, he can easily look at other's eyes and seize them up, he's simply far too quiet and avoids answering even the most basic questions about himself. When he does speak, it's an emotionless tone - a voice dry that lacks any enthusiasm or interest to make a conversation worthwhile.

Life's been harsh for the boy, discipline is the primordial need, coming before everything else. The boy heavily dislikes those who lack discipline or do not show effort in the things they do, but prefers to keep his distaste to himself. In fact, the boy literally

So, what I'm looking for is a rather... casual roleplaying story. Something fun, simple and still entertaining with lots of possibilities and development, mostly regarding our characters and the world itself. We'll be using Kanto OR Johto regions - and possibly both first and second generation pokémon for this... The sole reason is that not only they're quite nostalgic, but I also have a larger knowledge regarding those when compared to the newer ones.

We'll play each a starting trainer, someone who just has begun their adventure. For some reason, they've been selected to wield a pokédex (much like the games) and possibly have the dream of becoming a pokémon champion. Now, they can either be friends, rivals or well, who knows? That's entirely up to us and how we'll play them out, I'd rather leave this undecided to be honest, but if you wish to have something particularly pre-determined, tell me and we can work out the details!

For the reason above, I will note that our characters are beginners. They're still learning and developing, so yeah - only the starter pokémon and that's it. On how they'll develop and become better trainers is decided to us - basically, if we want to catch X pokémon or have Y evolution, we'll chat about it in OOC and include it slowly on the IC, but keeping a steady and realistic (as realistic as pokémon goes) pace.

Lastly, Team Rocket might make an appearance to make the plot more interesting. This can be discussed, but yeah! I'd like to see our two trainers having to deal with troublesome grunts and team rocket's evil deeds as they walk along the road of becoming elite trainers.

In all honesty, I don't expect way too much from a partner. What I'd really like, is someone who can be communicative, move the plot along and talk with me about their ideas and expectations as well. I don't want an one sided story, I want both characters to be equally important and me and my partner having equal fun, see? Not that hard.

I do ask for literacy, though! I don't really mind how much you write, but mind that I write at a casual level so, don't expect all that much from me! :P Also, I prefer to roleplay as males - if romance is your thing, better keep this in mind. If romance is to happen, I'm rather strict on keeping it MxF - I could try FxF, but that'd need some convincing.
