I always heard about people being lazy with security back home. I guess some things don’t change from society to society.

But it’s filled with camping gear along a shelf on the wall, climbing equipment and other outdoorsy stuff on the floor lined up nicely, and a small orange metal tackle box resting next to a very hefty looking fishing pole leaning up against the corner*

I can’t do that. Even if I remember bits and pieces of terrible things through my own eyes. But the thought that I could run into these guys out in the world, or anyone else who had a stake in what happened here, is horrifying.

Not like that. Stuff I’ve seen looks way more like, Star Warsy. Shoot lasers and stuff. Might be something ornamental or something. Maybe a weapon tied to some sort of culture or tradition with these guys.
