Looking for someone to play a Knight character! Very much wanted!

The lands of Obrethon were once made up of 5 individually ruled kingdoms: The Kingdom of the Seven Lakes, the Kingdom of the Dragon Mountains, the Kingdom of the Misty Rivers, the Kingdom of the Vales, and the Kingdom of the Barren lands.

The five kingdoms lived in harmony for hundreds of years, and they thrived in the absence of a common enemy. The lands were fertile, each with its own advantage, and the collaboration between the kings was great. Once a year they got to sit together at the round table, and spoke of their wishes, expectations, problems, and solutions. King Armagen, the ruler of the Barren lands came with the same troubles every year – his lands were losing fertility, and for some reason the summer droughts were getting longer and longer. Being unable to produce enough food to sustain his people, he had to buy it off from other Kingdoms. But having nothing much to return the favour, the prices of food soon became too high. Other kings, however, didn't seem to have much compasion for his troubles, blaming him for not being resourceful. So, Armagen furiously left the table, and swore to himself that he would find a way to overrule them all.

His desperation was great, and eventually led him to seek the Witch of Eddor'had. She used to be quite a trouble maker back in the days, until the five armies exiled her to the Island of Eddor'had, where the vulcano erruptions destroyed the lands, leaving them liveless. Upon recognizing the great opportunity, the Witch proposed him a deal he could not refuse. She would make him five magic gemstones, each of them containing the unique power of one of the 5 basic elements. They were known as Meru'rithil - The Stone of Air, Apo'rithil - The Stone of Water, Mag'rithil - The Stone of Earth, Ag'rithil - The Stone of Fire, and Sil'rithil - The Stone of Mind. Each gemstone would allow him to control whatever was made of these elements. Using the Earth stone, he could make his land fertile again, with the Water he could prevent the deadly droughts, and so on. But the most powerful of them all was the Mind stone, which enabled its carrier to control someone else's mind, and consequently his body. And all she wanted in return was that twice a year he would bring her gifts in form of gold, jewellery, food, clothing...anything she'd demanded. King Armagen didn't think twice, and he took the deal.

He installed all the gems into his crown, so he had immediate power of all the given gemstones at the same time. Then he began to transform his dying lands, making them livable again. His Kingdom soon began to thrive as never before, while the others soon began to fear him. They spoke of madness that was corrupting his mind. All that power contained in the gems was slowly taking over his very own mind. Eventually, his insanity completely took over, and he declared the war on all four kingdoms. He wanted their land, and he wanted all the other kings dead. The great war began, and it lasted for about 5 years before the lands of Obrethon were one big pile of blood. There were no more kingdoms, apart from the Armagen's tyranny. He was unstoppable. Even his people that once worshiped him, were now terrified of him.
Then one night, his son, Prince Edgar, learnt of his father's deal with the Witch through the vivid dreams that were sent to him by a Sorceress, who claimed to be one of the good ones, and wanted to help. Desperate enough, prince Edgar chose to believe what he thought was only intuition, and went after his own father. Even the King himself with all the powers over his head did not expect his loyal son to cut him in his back. As they were tussling, the Crown had fallen off King's head, instantly weakening him, which have Edgar the opportunity of killing him.

Edgar then took the gems out of the Crown, and wondered what to do with them. He figured he had to separate them from one another, hide them somewhere or give them to someone he trusted with his own life, and make sure they will never be put together like that again. So, he chose his 4 best knights he trusted the most, and gave each of them one stone: Fire,Eearth, Water, and Air. He then sent them out to use the gemstone powers in order to rebuild the old kingdoms, make them forever seperate. As for the Mind stone, he kept it for himself, determined to find the Witch of Eddor'had, and destroy her once and for all.

What he didn't know is that the Witch was now more powerful than ever. During the years King Armagen did what she could never done it herself, she raised an army of Hellhound creatures, and demonic warriors. They were beasts born out of magma, and black magic's intent, closely tied to the gemstone's magick, and the blood that was spilled by them. He goal was now to invade all the Obrethon lands, and get the ultimate revenge. But first she had to find and collect the 5 gems, which shouldn't be so hard since her beasts could smell them from miles away...

Hellhounds

This RP will be set in time, when the five kingdoms were just beginning to rise up from the ashes. This time the mysterious Sorceress shows herself in flesh before the Prince Edgar, and informs him that the Witch is comming to collect the gems. Since there is no way that they could hide the gems from her, there seem to be only two options: kill the witch first, or destroy the gems and kill the witch later. Only problem is, the gems can only be destroyed with the fire they were made with – meaning, they have to get to the heart of Eddor'had, and throw the gems into the magma, before the Witch learns of their intent. But can they do it?

So, I would need 5 of you guys to play the Prince Edgar, and his four knights with the gemstones in their pockets. Make sure each Knight belongs to a different Kingdom (all 5 kingdoms should have their representative with a gem in their pocket). Keep in mind that all the Knights actually originate from the Kingdom of Barren Lands. It was only after the war that they were assigned to other Kingdoms. Whether they became their new official leaders (Kings) or they just helped some surviving royalty back to the throne, it's completely up to you.

I'll be playing the mysterious Sorceress, who joins their mission, although nobody really trusts her. I thought of playing the prince first, but I think I'll be able to master the RP better through someone with quite a few tricks up their sleve.

I've also mad a map of this world. Red cross indicates our starting point. We will be headed to the west, to the Eddor'had island.

- Only medieval weapons allowed. No guns or things like that.
- What can you do with the power of the gemstone is up to your imagination, but don't exaggerate it. If you think you can use an Earth gemstone, and build 8,000 ft mountain from scratch in a second, then you are wrong.
- There may or may not exist a dragon somewhere in the lands. Don't worry, though, he is domesticated. I think…

They are definitely alike. Fay would probably tell a lie about her father. Being the omega of one of, if not the most brutal werewolf clans isn’t likely to win her trust points with other packs. Especially one known to put their own members into another clan just to betray them.

She isn’t one to hate on people for not being pure of blood, but her father wouldn’t let a turned human be of a high rank. However! She’d definitely tease her for it if she saw it as a point of sensitivity for Mori.

Fay may have her own ideas, craftiness, and ability to lead. But, definitely an irresponsibility and lack of desire or connection with her own kind.

So I guess we can only work on Mori's suspicion of Fay's intention. In that case, we can say Mori actually wants to throw Fay out of the pack - simply because she doesn't trust her. Of course, she cannot get that idea pass the Carlson as he doesn't have any issue with Fay. So like you said, they would play a cat and a mouse game, with Mori trying to dig out any kind of dirt on her to prove the pack she's rotten.

I'll rewrite the CS to reflect that. My thing is I want to have a point of conflict with Mori over something. If everyone is happy and healthy together, then the story stalls and peters out.

I don't imagine them having a knock down drag out fight about their relationship, but I think it's something we could use to add some drama to the pack :P

That's a valid point there. Hmm...what if they became really good friends after Mori saved Ryan from Topeka, but then their relationship had to change due to Mori becoming an alpha. So maybe Ryan still treats her as his best friend, and expects her to be ok with whatever he does. So Mori is kind of torn apart between being his friend, and being a leader. Still not enough conflict? :P That's all I can think of right now, but I might get a better idea later.

I think Mori and Fay would have a hell of a relationship. The ferocious aspects of their personalities could absolutely clash.

Perhaps Mori doesn’t quite trust Fay? The sharp wit of them both. Their cunning could make for an interesting cat and mouse game of getting Fayth to reveal more about herself.

That's exactly what crossed my mind the first time I read Fay's CS! :D I guess Mori cannot really tell, whether she likes Fay or not, because they are both somewhat alike - they both had brutal fathers. And perhaps Fay would often tease her with the fact that she wasn't born a werewolf, she wasn't even properly trained - and here she is playing alpha :)

Or Mori was the one who brought Ryan out west while she wandered, not liking how Topeka was biting people left and right to boost the pack's numbers and getting him out after f*cking some people up?

And on a side note, how does Mori feel about Ryan dating a non-werewolf? And his aggression whenever someone suggests "changing" Ryan's boyfriend to keep pack secrecy?

I like that one. It's totally Mori's style to save wolves from abusive leaders. So yeah, we can go with that :)

And about Ryan dating a non-werewolf... I don't know actually. She would definitely have a problem with his agressive behaviour, as she wants her family to be at peace with each other, but I'd say she would be ok with it. Well, she would definitely keep an eye on them, but wouldn't bother him about it every chance she got.

All in all, I think they could get along pretty well. Unless you want it otherwise :P

Does anyone have an issue with me, the alpha female, or am I just too adorable to be someone's pain the **** :P I also need more connections and special relationships with you guys. Carlson and I already agreed that we ''just lead together, but are not a couple''. I don't want to feel left out :P

Oh, I think I didn't make it clear enough that the Knights actually originate from the Kingdom of Barren Lands. It was only after the war that they were assigned to other Kingdoms. Whether they became their new official leaders (Kings) or they just helped some surviving royalty back to the throne, it's completely up to you. Therefore, @Incanus, in the case of your background story your Knight could only be King Armagen's younger brother. Unless, your character, who was actually the younger brother of the King of the Seven Lakes, for some reason became a Knight in the neighbouring Kingdom. Does that make sense? :D
