Green Lantern Ring (The Green Lantern Ring is a magic weapon, powered by the will of the user, it allows Hal to use the following abilities)

*Energy Construct Creation: The Ring allows for the creation of anything the user can imagine.
*Force Field/Atmosphere Projection: The Ring projects an energy field around the user to absorb damage, as well as to allow for a survivable atmosphere to always surround the weilder, allowing them to survive extreme heat, cold, pressure or even the vacuum of space.
*Flight: The weilder can fly at extreme speeds.
*Cellular Regeneration: The wielder's body heals at an immense rate, it also allows them to survive blows that would kill an unpowered individual.
*Universal Translator: The ring can translate any language to be understandable.

The Biggest weakness of the ring is its need to be recharged periodically.

Sinestro is the Gold Lantern from the far-off world of Korugar. He was the leader of the Lanterns, a group of people wielding the 7 Rings of Power. Sinestro keeps his background vague, dodging questions about it, claiming his past to be "Too painful to talk about now. Maybe another day." On earth, he uses the alias T Sinclaire.

Another of his friends is Carol Ferris, daughter of Carlos Ferris, president of Ferris Industries. 2 years older than him, who he has had an on-again-off-again relationship with since he was sent to a rich foster family living next door to her. He didn't stay with them long, because of how strict their rules were. He still hangs around with Carol sometimes, though her parents hate him.

Somewhat a mentor to Hal, Detective John Stewart, an Veteran from Desert Storm who, after the war, came home and enrolled in the police. He has been looking out for Hal ever since he transferred to the CCPD.

Hals only other friend is a petty criminal by the name of Hector Hammond. Hammond is a little fish with big idea's, that he will some day become one of the great heroes of the world, robbing from the rich and giving to the poor. Mostly, it just boils down to him ripping off rich old people with Pyramid scheme's. Hal has had to protect him from angry loan-sharks on more than one occasion.

Intergalactic warlord and pirate. Claims to be the rightful ruler of the universe. He commands an immense warship known as Eye of Darkness. Despero's background is shrouded in mystery, but what is known is that he possesses a mean-streak a mile long and is immensely charismatic and is known for his great acts of benevolence, saving whole planets from the brink of extinction, whilst attacking defenseless Kree, Skrull, Shi'Ar, Thanagarian and Tamaranian merchant vessels. He is even known to have scuffles with the Shi'Ar grand fleet from time to time. He is an excellent military strategist and a powerful warrior, wielding immense powers known as "The Pyre" The full extent of its power is unknown.

The Pyre (A mysterious power that nobody is quite sure of the extent of. All that is known is that it is some kind of magic)
Telepathy (When his third eye opens, he can hear the thoughts of anyone he looks at, can see into their very soul, can even control them if their mind is weak enough)
Energy Projection (He can shoot energy beams from all 3 of his eyes)

The mysterious and stunningly beautiful right-hand of Despero. Lyssa is a powerful sorceress, who gets all of her magic from the mysterious book that she always carries with her.

Sorcery (Lyssa wields immense plumes of golden magics that sprout from her book.)
Future-Sight (Lyssa can predict the future with varying degree's of accuracy.)

Larfleeze is one of Despero's Lieutenants. Nobody knows where this beast came from or what it has been through to get here. All that is known is that he wears an orange uniform with logo of the Orange Power Ring on his shoulder. He is immensely strong and fast, and is one of the most deadly hand-to-hand combatants in the known universe. He uses a large arsenal of weapons that he has collected from fallen foes.

Shark is a strange one. He is a ruthless, unstoppable killing machine that never says a word. He simply follows any order that Despero gives him to the letter. He is one of Despero's most notorious henchmen.

The self-proclaimed "Master of Magnetism" Polaris was a former warlord of his planet. When he saw that the planet was dying, he put his best minds to work on a suit that would allow him to save them all by harnessing the planets magnetic poles to do his bidding. The suit was completed, but too late. As he began to use the magnetic field of the planet to guide it away from the sun, his time ran out and he saw death coming for his entire planet. Despero and his ships arrived just in time and saved as many as they could. Polaris' people were moved to a new planet. Polaris, in return, pledged his undying loyalty to Despero.

Known Powers:
Magnetic Control (Polaris is able to use his magnetic powers to control metal, shape it to his whim, even make it explode. This can be interfered with when exposed to extreme heat. If he concentrates, he can create a localised magnetic storm, completely disrupting all electricity in the area and rendering most machines inoperable.)

A Skrull working for Despero as one of his Lieutenants. Formerly an espionage agent for the Empire, he was charged with infiltrating Despero's ranks. He, however, had no idea that Despero's Pyre gave him the ability to read minds and he was immediately captured. Despero then made him a deal "Work for me, or die." Seeing that the writing was on the wall, he agreed.

The Spaceknights of Galadoria are an ancient and sacred order, sworn to don the sacred armour and fight the evil scourge known as The Dire Wraiths at every turn. Sometimes, they go rogue. Bakin spent years hunting Dire Wraiths on a world full of evil. He soon began to question why he even bothered, since the Wraiths were usually nicer than the people they were replacing. He abandoned his position and became a bounty hunter, hunting and killing the real evils in the world. Every so often, hunting the Dire Wraiths come back into his crosshairs. He enjoys this as it feels nostalgic.

A Cybertronian and former leader of the Decepticons "12th Sky Brigade" he is twin brother of Dreadwing. Skyquake, after the fall of Cybertron, was sent out across the galaxy to hunt down Autobots. It was during this hunt that he found Despero. He tried to conquer Despero's ship and use it for himself, but was defeated by the villain. When Despero spared Skyquake's life, Skyquake swore allegiance to him. He is honorbound to serve Despero until he rejoins the All-Spark.

Story Overview This version of Hal is a bit younger, having grown up on the streets of Coast City, he has been in and out of foster homes since he can remember. His father was a test-pilot for the US Airforce, his mother, he doesn't remember anything about. He was always getting into trouble with Officer Stewart, who always tried to keep him on the straight and narrow. It worked for the most part. Hal is known as a sort of Homeless hero, always leaping to the rescue of other homeless that get attacked. Hal has never had a home or anyone to really cling onto as a parent figure. All he can do is keep surviving until he hits 16, when he's allowed to follow his father into the Air Force.

Then, one day he gets a magic ring, and then a man called Sinestro came into his life. Sinestro tells him of the power of the ring, tells him that it is one of 7, Green, Gold, Blue, Indigo, Pink, Orange and Red. He was previously on a team with the other 6 Lanterns, but they were defeated by the Intergalactic Warlord Despero. All he could do was flee to an unknown world and regroup. The Green ring chose Hal and now they need to work together to recover the other 5 rings, lest they fall into the hands of evil.

It had been a good day for Officer Stewart. Nothing particularly bad had happened. Special Victims was usually a hellish beat, full of rape victims and abused children, but today had been good. One of his "Victims" kidnap victims had turned out to be a hoax from a dissatisfied foster child (Best possible outcome) He had finally gotten a search warrant for a pedophile's house and best of all, the lady at the sandwich shop slipped an extra gherkin into his sandwich without charging. Walking into the station, he nodded to the secretary and smiled as he headed to the elevator. Getting inside, he breathed a sigh of relief. It was going to be a quiet evening of paperwork, the best kind. The lift played the latest cheesy top-40's pop song that had been annoying him for the last 2 months, but he was determined to not let that spoil a perfectly good day. The door opened and he saw, charging towards him, a beaten and bloodied teen. "4532! GET THAT KID!!!" Yelled another officer. 4532 was the code for escaped suspect. Stewart lunged forward, spearing the kid almost out of his shoes and getting him on the ground.

"OOOOOOOH!!!" The kid wheezed "Ya got me..." John began to get up, before realizing who it was he had just brutally tackled.

"Hal?" He asked.

"Sorry, officer, i didn't get the plates..." He groaned as a pair of officers ran up and turned him over, putting cuffs on him.

"Look, Hal, i'm sorry, instincts. Look, boys, what did he do?" He asked. One of the officers looked at John.

"Vigilantism, Theft and resisting arrest."

"Ok, i did 1 and 3, but-" John glared at Hal

"NOT ANOTHER WORD!!!" He grunted. "I'll book him in, i'll get him talking. For the love of god, tell me you read him Miranda?" He asked. The officers nodded. "Again, Hal?" He asked as he pushed Hal towards the booking office.

Hal sat in the interrogation room, looking around at the four walls and the 2-way mirror. He had a pair of bloodied tissues up his nose, blood dried on his forehead and a blackening eye and an ice-pack on his head. "COME ON!!! I DON'T HAVE ALL DAY!!!" He yelled. The door opened and John walked in.

"For crying out loud, Hal, what did you do this time?" He asked, walking over and sitting down. Hal just stared.

"Look-"

"Hal, i can't keep protecting you like this. Vigilantism, despite what the Media would have you believe is a crime."

"Bu-"

"Hal, look at me!" John ordered. Hal looked him in the eye. "Is your name Batman? Is your name Captain America? Is your name Supergirl? When it is, then i'll start looking the other way on these Vigilantism charges. As for Theft-"

"No!" Hal slammed his fist on the table. "Look, i have done a lot of shitty things in my 15 years on this planet, but i have NEVER stolen anything from anyone!"

"The officer who you lifted the keys from in that Steve McQueen impression begs to differ-"

"Besides the point, i didn't steal anything other than that today" He sighed.

"The report says that you were found with an... Emerald ring?" John asked.

"Yep, and i didn't steal it." Hal replied, burying his face in his hands.

"You found it?" Laughed John.

"Nope..." Hal replied. "It found me." John stared at him with a face that said Well, that's a new one for me "Yeah, i wouldn't believe me either..." He groaned. "But i've got proof." John continued to stare, his poker face not relenting. "That ring was put in evidence, correct?" John flicked through the report.

"Yyyyyyyyes." He replied.

"Then would you kindly explain why it's in my pocket?" He asked, pulling it out of his pocket. John got up and instinctively grabbed a handkerchief from his pocket and closed it around the ring in Hal's hand. .

"THE HELL DID YOU DO!?!?!?" He roared. "YOU BROKE INTO EVIDENCE?!?!?" John was clearly fuming, despite Hal not changing his face.

"Nope, i was locked to that chair for half an hour, then i got the keys and immediately bolted for the door. I never had any time to break into evidence. Plus, how many locks are on that door?" He asked. John's face was now just confused. "Alright, now put it in your pocket and walk out..." He said. John was confused, but complied, wrapping up the ring, he put it in his pocket, before walking out. He then looked in through the mirror and saw Hal hold up his hand, dangling the ring in it. John stormed back in.

"How did you do that?" He growled.

"Magic." John looked at him with angered disbelief this time. "Alright, let me tell you the story."

2 Hours Ago

Hal walked down an alley on his way back to his current squat, whistling. It was a little cold at this time of the year. He heard someone yelling around the corner and immediately set off at a run. Rounding the corner, he saw an old man being beaten by a man whilst the other one grabbed his wallet. "Hey, leave him alone." The 2 men looked at him, one of them grabbed a pipe. "You want to take on someone, try me, i got more cash than him." Hal yelled. The 2 men ran towards him, Hal ran towards them as well.

Dodging under a swing from the pipe, Hal pressed his feet firmly on the ground, before pressing forward and lunging into the mans chest, tackling him to the ground. As he leaned up and punched the man he tackled across the face, he was grabbed from behind, under his arms. He instinctively went limp, letting his hands flail a little as he tried to slip through the grasp, but it was futile and he was dragged off, before the man he tackled got back up and punched him in the face, before grabbing the pipe and delivering one last blow, leaving Hal on the floor, blood spirting from his forehead, he coughed heavily, a hoarse cough. He tried to crawl to the wall, trying to get up.

"STAY DOWN!" The man called, smacking the pipe into Hal's back and he fell down the wall, before trying to get up again. "Tell you what, this kid doesn't quit. Think you're fucking Iron Man or something?" He asked. He tried to get up again as the pipe went into the back of his skull, smacking his nose into brick, he fell down coughing again, this time, a little vomit came out. Blood spraying from his nose. Hal tried to get up again, the world going dark. Then suddenly bright.

"So this is what death feels like..." He giggled in his throes. Then it went Green "Wait, that's different..." Suddenly, everthing felt good... The pain started to melt away.

"HAL JORDAN, I SENSE GREAT WILL IN YOUR HEART! SAY THE OATH AND JOIN OUR RANKS!!!"

Hal opened his mouth as his eyes started to glow

"In Brightest Day, In Blackest Night
No Evil Shall Escape My Sight
Let Those Who Worship Evil's Might
Beware My Power, Green Lantern's Light!!!"

Hal suddenly was stood, staring at the men, his clothes were different. One of the Men began to run. Hal put his hand forward and, bursting from the ring, was a giant hand that streamed forward and wrapped around the man, before pulling him back and hitting his partner in crime with him. The two men sprawled onto the floor. One got up and swung the pipe at him, A Green sword appeared and shattered the pipe in his hands, before another fist appeared and the mugger was down for the count. Hal stood shaking, he looked at his hand and saw the green ring. He pulled it off and the light disappeared, his clothes going back to the bloody, slightly vomit-soiled mess they were previously. At that point, a pair of police rushed into the alley.

"DROP YOUR WEAPONS!" Yelled one of them, pointing his gun at them. Hal threw the ring down and one of the cops grabbed it with a handkerchief and put it into a ziplock bag, before cuffing Hal. "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions..."

John stared at him again. "What the fuck was that?" He asked.

"Well, if you let me put the ring on, i can prove it-"

"NO!" John grabbed Hal's hand. "Do NOT put that on... Look, i don't know if it is Magic or not, but if you put that on then there's nothing i can do to protect you..." John buried his face in his hands "Alright... Here's the deal... I can reduce the Vigilantism to Defense of Another, i can get the Theft dropped, but you shouldn't have run. Resisting Arrest is only a Misdemeanor, so nothing that will keep you out of the Military, but i will need to turn you over to your foster parents-"

"No deal!" Hal yelped.

"It's that or bye-bye Air-Force." John growled. Hal flexed his fingers in thought.

"What if-"

"You don't get it, do you?" Asked John "There's no negotiation in this, i'm handing you a Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free card. You can take it or leave it."

"I can't go back to them..." Hal groaned. "My "Dad" is going to kill me because i set his weed plants on fire."

"Weed as in..."

"Cannabis, Ganja, Kush, Hash, whatever you call it, smokey-feel-good." John stared daggers at Hal.

"If you're lying-"

"It's Bye-Bye Air-Force, i know." Hal leaned back and crossed his arms. John got up and walked to the door, looking out and seeing that nobody was watching. He walked back to the desk and sat down.

"Mention this ring to no-one. There are some fucked up stories going around with what happens to people with things like that..."

"What about the other guys, they'll say i-"

"It was Supergirl... Or The Flash... Claim it was anyone else, do not let anyone else know who you are and what you can do. In the meantime... I'm going to get on to investigating your fosters. You'll be held in custody whilst we decide the next course of action." He got up and walked out. "Chin up..." He replied, as he was closing the door.

2 weeks later

Hal sat in an office. Today was the day that he would meet his new Foster parents. He sat at the desk and let out a sigh. He was already making plans for an escape. The door opened. "Hal, this is Thomas." the Social Worker said. "We know that you have had a real problem with multiple authority figures, so we thought that a single parent might be more your speed." The man that walked in was not what Hal expected.

"Hello, Hal. It's nice to meet you." The man said with an emotionless face. "Can we have a moment alone?" He asked. The Social worked smiled and nodded, before leaving the room. Thomas walked over to the door and made sure the woman wasn't looking in. She had gone to get a coffee "Alright, Hal, let me level with you, i'm not a foster parent." He said.

"Thank god?" Hal asked with a confused expression. "Or is this one of those "Waking up in a bathtub full of ice without my liver" things?" Thomas stared at him, not understanding what he was saying.

"I'm like you." He said, completely ignoring what Hal had just asked. He showed him the Golden Ring

"I... Don't know..."

"In brightest day, in blackest night..." Thomas said.

"You know? Are you a Green Lantern too?" He asked.

"No, you are THE Green Lantern. I'm the Gold Lantern."

"Gold is so much cooler than green..." Hal sighed.

"I was the leader of the Lanterns until recently, when your predecessor was killed. The Rings look for those most worthy to wield them. You have been chosen. If you want to know more, then you tell that social worker that you're happy to come home with me... If you want me to take the ring and give it to someone else, give you your life back, I can do that... Your choice." For Hal, time stopped. What the hell was he supposed to do? If he went with this man then he was opening up the pandora's box that he couldn't close... The door opened and Hal launched himself into Thomas' arms, embracing him in a hug.

"I love you, daddy!" He yelled. The Social Worker dropped her coffee.

Known Alias': The Vampire of Gotham
Age: 32
Mutant Vampire: Morbius' powers stem from his research into adapting the supernatural properties of monsters into humans. Although, he himself is more of a mutant due to his DNA being crossed with that of a Vampire-Bat, as well as a little bit of Vampire blood, rather than the blood curse of Nosforatu, he nonetheless shares certain powers commonly associated with the Homonus Nocturni.
*Super Strength: Even at his weakest, he is still easily able to lift a ton over his head.
*Super Durability: Like most vampires, conventional weapons have little effect on his body. Bullets can stun him and cause him great deals of pain, but can't kill him. He is also incredibly resistant to blunt-force-trauma.
*Super Speed: Whereas not able to outrun a speeding bullet, he is able to outrun any non-powered human, his top speed is around 40mph.
*Super Stamina: Due to his blood being different, his body produces little in the way of fatigue toxins, allowing him to push his maximum potential for hours at a time, without rest.
*Supernatural Reflexes: Whilst not Spider-Senses, he is able to react to stimuli almost 20x faster than the average human.
*Acute senses: Due to his increased physical traits, it has yielded amazing superhuman senses. He can see in the dark, his sense of smell is better than most dogs, his hearing is on the level of a Bat's.
*Super Regenerative Healing: Although not as amazing as Wolverine's, his healing rate is beyond most any naturally occuring creature. He recovers from simple cuts and scratches in minutes. And, although not good enough to regrow internal organs, he can regrow lost limbs if he can rest for about a week.
*Claws and Teeth: Like any vampire, he must feast on fresh blood 2-3 times a week to keep his strength. To help him with this, his canines have increased in size, as has his finger-nails into razor-sharp claws.
*Immunity to Typical Vampire Weaknesses: Unlike typical vampires, he is uneffected by holy symbols, silver and oak weapons or sunlight.
*Blood Absorption: Possibly Morbius' most interesting power. His blood is hungry, it needs to consume more blood and is not against turning on itself. If he doesn't drink blood for long enough, he will die a very painful death as his body consumes itself. However, this does have its advantages. His blood only takes on the most desirable traits of whatever it consumes. Essentially, he can gain the powers of beings that he consumes the blood of. Generally this can happen purely at random. If he bites superman, he doesn't necessarily gain the entire kryptonian physiology, but it might give him Heat Vision or Super Breath or Flight.

Genius Level Intellect: Before this whole Vampire business, Morbius was the foremost authorities on genetics on all of Greece. He has retained his vast knowledge, despite his transformation.

Vampiric Weaknesses: Due to being partially vampiric, he does have several of the problems that go along with it.
Vampiric Hunger:that he MUST feast on living blood at least 2-3 times a week. The main problem is that other animals can sustain him, but he must feast on human blood at least once a week or he slowly loses his sanity until he is forced to feast.
Garlic allergy: This one isn't strictly related to his vampiric abilities, he has always suffered from a mild allergy to Garlic. Ironic, isn't it?
Sunlight sensitivity: Unlike other vampires that explode when sunlight hits them, Morbius finds that exposure to sunlight makes his skin hypersensitive. Mild cuts that he would otherwise ignore are now agonizingly painful. Punches from some punk feel like being shot.

Sense-Overstimulation: Having superior sight, smell and hearing can come at a disadvantage. Although sunlight doesn't hurt him, he finds it difficult to see in the sun, he also finds his skin becoming more sensitive during the day. Certain smells can overpower him and sounds that would be annoying to a human might be deafening to him.

Little Formal Combat Training: Despite being incredibly strong, he has little in the way of actual combat experience, in battle, he rellies fully on his powers to carry him.

Minimal Firearms training: He has fired a number of guns in his time as a vampire slayer, but he is far from a marksman.

Appearance: Morbius is 6'1, with grey skin, sunken eyes and nose, along with pointed ears. His face resembling some kind of Bat. His choice of garb is a black jumpsuit that helped him blend in when stalking Vampires, but now wears a trenchcoat over it, along with a hat, so that he can turn up the collar and easily hide his face when forced to walk around in public. His eyes are huge and his sclera is red

Morbius' wife and a descendant of Abraham Van Helsing, the first man to defeat Dracula. Ever since she was a young girl, she has been trained to hunt and kill vampires. During one trip to Germany, she saved a lowly scientist who became infatuated with her. She married him, went on adventures with him and planned to have a baby with him... Until fate decided to turn against them. She lost the baby, then became incredibly sick. She is currently laying in a chemically induced coma.

Jubilation Lee, known to her friends as Jubilee, she was the daughter of a pair of rich chinese moguls, living in America. The Head of the gymnastics team, a cheerleader for the football team and also a dab-hand at chess. Then the fateful weekend came. Her parents went on a trip to Hong-Kong and she threw a house party. She was just getting close to Brad the captain of the Football team, when she felt something welling inside of her... And the next thing she knew, the house was on fire. Escaping outside, she couldn't contain herself, the "fireworks" blasting everywhere. Her parents had lost everything in a stock market crash and when they found that she had destroyed the house, they threw her out.

Alone and on the busy streets, she was quickly found by a very nice man who took her in, unfortunately, this turned out to be a trap, when he took her straight to his boss, a large, hulking monstrosity that bit her neck and drained her blood, before throwing her back onto the streets. She slowly went nuts and began eating people. Eventually, she made her way to Los Angeles, where a good Vampire managed to give her a Gypsie Amulet that suppresses the demon inside of her, allowing her to keep her power, but keep the demon out of the driving seat.

Once refered to as "Angelus, the Scourge of Europe" and "The Demon with the Face of an Angel" he was the most sadistic killer known to the vampire community. He took great pleasure in slaughtering whole towns, as well as corrupting religious figures and then turning them. Angelus' rampage came to an end in the late 1800's, when he slaughtered a village of gypsies. Before the elder died, she bestowed a curse on him, to return his soul to him, to allow him to know remorse and anguish over everyone that he had slaughtered, but to never allow him to know happiness. If he ever knew true happiness, then the curse would be broken and he would return to his mindless killing. James Ewell Brown Stuart, the legendary Confederate commander. Everyone knows the story. Born in Laurel Hill, Patrick County, Virginia on the 6th of February 1833 and was later enrolled at West Point military academy. Commissioned in 1854 second lieutenant of cavalry. He later married Flora Cooke the daughter of Colonel Philip St George Cooke. The couple had two children Jeb Stuart, Jr. and Virginia Stuart. The name Jeb would be carried down the generations of his decedents. At the outbreak of the Civil War, J.E.B fought in the Battle of Bull Run. He was put in command of the Confederate Cavalry under General Robert E. Lee but was fatally wounded in 1864 at Yellow Tavern, Virginia, during the Battle of Richmond.

What many people don't know is that Jeb may have died, but his soul didn't pass. He continued to fight for America, even after his body was destroyed. During the many wars since, American tank-crews have reported that, in times of dire need, they would hear the sounds of bugles, before a ghostly apparition took control of their tank and began to use it with super-human accuracy, the hull bouncing shells that should have penetrated, the gun piercing armour that it never should have and the vehicle moving at speeds it just isn't capable of. Most recently, a single M3-Lee has been reported on the boarder of Kasnia, hunting down attempted Kasnian incursions into the surrounding countries. Kasnian jets have hit the tank with everything they can and it hasn't made so much as a dent.

The Creature Commandos are an elite group of monsters that work as soldiers of fortune. Formerly members of the US Marine Corps, they distinguished themselves in the European theater in WWII and then again during Vietnam, however, recently, they have gone off the reservation, refusing to answer to the higher ups. To the US Military, they are deserters, to everyone else, they are heroes. If you have a problem, if no-one else can help you, maybe you can hire them. The current members are:

Pvt. Warren Griffith - Warren was a simple, stuttering, timid farm boy who was mauled half to death by a werewolf. Taken in by the US government, he was given several injections that stabilized the transformation, now he is perpetually stuck in Wolf Form.
J.A.K.E. - Also known as G.I. Robot, he was created by the late Professor Thompson of MIT. He was designed to replace humans in the battlefield, but in order to test him, he was sent into Nazi-controlled Europe with the Creature Commandoes. Even though he lacks a true personality, over the years, he has learned to understand humour, as well as spout one-liners, regardless of whether he knows what they mean or not.
Dr. Myrra Rhodes - Also known as Dr. Medusa. After inhaling strange fumes, she grew snakes for hair and became a Gorgon, she can turn people to stone by looking them straight in the eyes.
Pvt. Elliot "Lucky" Taylor - Lucky was a basic soldier, good background, used to play Football. After joining the Army, he took part in the African Campaign and barely survived stepping on a mine. He was stitched back together against his will, so he resembles Frankenstein's monster and has damaged vocal cords.
Sgt. Vincent Velcro - Velcro volunteered for a super-soldier project in order to commute a 30-year sentence in the brig for crippling an officer. The serum turned him into something that resembles a vampire, growing immense wings and requiring to feed on blood to survive.
Cpl. Khalis - A mummy who serves as the team medic. Her origin and abilities are classified/unknown.
Cpt. John "Hannibal" Smith - Hannibal is a military genius and the only unmutated human in the group. He is a master of disguise and is almost always seen with his trademarked black leather gloves and a cigar in his mouth.

Not much is known about HOI, other than the fact that they are a scientist and considered an expert on McGregor's Syndrome. HOI has possible connections to orginized crime or may even be a super-person.

Alejandra is a Vampire Slayer and Occult Expert in Nicuragua. She is an old friend of Rachael and Michael that they met on their trip around the world.

Born in Hell on the plane of Drakulon. After a successful attempt to escape hell, he made his way to the mortal realm and possessed Vladimir III of Wallachia, turning the man into the legendary "Count Dracula" Although he isn't the first vampire, he is recognized by many as the King of all Vampires, and wisest of their number. He is strong, fast, cunning and one of the most dangerous opponents that anyone could face.

Even though Dracula is considered the foremost vampire, this is because few know about Varnae. Varnae was the very first vampire. Heralding from ancient Atlantis, before it sank, Varnae was a great scholar, who discovered how to talk to demons. No one knows exactly what happened next, but most who know his story believe that he sunk Atlantis with his power. He cut a bloody swath cross Europe, Africa and Asia, with every creature he consumed, he became stronger and stronger, eventually, he stopped resembling a human. But time has taken a heavy toll on him. Although he is, without a doubt, one of, if not the, strong vampires that ever lived, his mind has failed him. He has no real focus, wanders aimlessly, every so often, he comes up with a world conquering plan, but if he gets distracted, he will forget the plan completely. His followers bring him fresh meat, because he can't even hunt by himself without forgetting where he is and just starting to mindlessly slaughter all around him.

Simon Stroud is an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. that is working the case to try and hunt down the man that HOI has been talking with.

Basilisk was born Wayne Gifford. Wayne was a normal kid, growing up in suburbia, until he fell in with drugs. Eventually, the drugs lead him to a cult that worshipped a demon called "The Basilisk" and he helped to free it from hell. Basilisk possessed Wayne and gave him immense power. He can paralyse a man by staring them in the eyes and can spit a powerful venomous acid.

*Morbius in this rendition is German, not Greek.
*Morbius isn't looking for a cure for his own vampirism, more that he's looking for a cure for his wife. Speaking of which, one of the differences is that he is married.
*In this, he has no specific links to Spider-Man, other than the fact that he did work for the German Oscorp division.
*For this, i'm going to be using the Vampire rules from "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" in that Vampires are humans that are possessed by Demons, the biting process injects a special venom that grants immense power to the infected, but the bite also leaves a special demonic charm that calls a minor demon to possess the host, meaning that those who are infused with Vampire blood through a less conventional method aren't possessed and retain their humanity.

Story Overview: Michael was born in Stuttgart, Germany. his father, a philosopher and mother a Doctor, he took more after his mother, growing up fascinated in the ways of science, he was constantly at odds with his father, who had always wanted his son to become a philosopher, this animosity only grew when, at the age of 13, he lost his mother to a car accident. His father and he grew very distant before he went to medical school and studied biology and biogenetics. His life seemed to be going in a good direction, that was until his first encounter with her...

Walking home from a lecture one night, he was attacked by a Vampire that beat him half to death, before attempting to turn him, before the creature could bite him, however, he was found by Rachel Van Helsing, the Vampire hunter, who slew the creature. After she saved him, he became enamoured with her and followed her, offering his assistance as a researcher. He and Rachel eventually fell in love and were married. Although Michael wasn't much of a fighter, he developed multiple new, Anti-Vampire bio-weapons for Rachel to use in her fights. He also got to meet other monsterous entities from across the world, some friendly, some not so much. One that they did find was a friendly Vampire in Los Angeles, as well as, in Egypt, a team of American Commando's made up of monsters. Eventually, Rachel fell pregnant and it seemed as though their lives were almost complete... Then one day, Rachel fell ill. She lost the baby, before soon losing her ability to breathe properly. She was diagnosed with "McGregor's Syndrome" which was thought completely incurable, but, after a bit of research, his findings brought him to someone online by the name of "HOI"

Michael and HOI corresponded for quite some time as they worked together on a cure and made some good headway, they even developed a stop-gap for stage one patients, such as Rachel, where they could put her into a medically induced coma and keep her under indefinitely. However, their working together was cut short when HOI stopped connecting and then, the funds that they were sharing in a bank account were frozen. Going underground in Greece, Michael continued to hunt vampires until he came to the realization that, perhaps, they could be the answer. Vampires contained incredible healing powers, he had never even heard of one getting sick. He managed to capture one and began to work on adapting the Vampiric genetics to synthesize a cure. But, without HOI's help, he quickly ran into walls. Specifically, he ran out of samples from Nora's advanced stage 3 and was forced to run tests on Vamprie Bats that he infected. Finally, he managed to synthesize what he believed to be a mutagen that would give humans the healing factor of Vampires, with no other choice, his first test subject was himself. What happened next, he had no idea, but when he came to, he was surrounded by a dead biker gang and he had mutated...

Getting home, he looked in the mirror to find himself horrifically mutated and with a taste for blood... Not wanting to accept what he was, a full-blooded vampire, he grabbed a silver stake and drove it through his own heart. He waited and waited, but death didn't come for him. He threw himself into the sun, but again, death was no-where to be seen. After some quick tests, he found that he wasn't a vampire in the typical sense. He was... Something else... He tried to correspond with several other scientists that he knew, but nobody was willing to return his messages. Those that were quickly stopped replying as soon as he brought the word "Vampire" into the conversation. HOI finally came back online and he arranged to finally meet HOI.

*Camera shakes a little as it is put onto the stand. A handsome man sits down in front of it, his face clearly bruised and scratched.* "Hi, guys, it's me again. I know that you guys are only here to hear my thesis on the integration of Animal DNA into humans, but i need to tell you about this... I just got attacked by a Vampire. I know, right, it's crazy, but i was saved by..." He looked up and his eyes fluttered. "Ahhh... The prettiest woman you have ever seen." He then composed himself. "Look, i know that this sounds insane, but i need to meet her again." He sat, trying to figure out what to say. "To hell with this, i'm going to find her, right now, i'll keep searching till i do so. I need to meet her again." He pressed a button on the back of the recorder and it shut off.

*The Camera turns on to reveal the man covered in scratches* "I'm sorry, i should have told you all about this in advance, but..." he grinned a joyful grin. "I've just killed a vampire. Like, stake through the heart and everything! Can you believe it? I mean, i thought i'd be covered in blood, but it just turns to ash the moment you kill the bastards." He shook visibly in excitement. "I've never felt so alive!!!!! Oh, yeah, i found the girl again and she agreed to meet me tomorrow night. I need to shower. Bye!" *The camera turned off*

*The camera turns on to reveal the same man with his wounds healed.* "Sorry for not replying for the last few months, i've been really busy. I found her, her name is Rachel and... Well, i don't want to say we're dating, but-" At that point, the door opened and the pretty blond woman walked in.

"Hey, Mike, i've been looking over the blueprints of your UV Grenades and... Are you recording a Vlog?" the man grabbed the camera.

"No!" He replied as it turns off.

*The camera turns on to see the man now with a full beard.* "Well, this has been a crazy as hell year... Rache is sleeping, it was a hell of a honeymoon... Oh yeah." he revealed his wedding ring to the camera. "You would not believe HALF of the shit i have seen travelling around the world. Met some really nice guys and gals in Egypt, killed a LOT of Vampires. Met a... Well, let's just say a crazy old war vet in Russia. Really nice guy..."

"Come to bed, Mike..." A sultry voice cooed. The man shrugged, before reaching behind the camera and it turning off.

*The camera turns on as Michael is carrying a box* "Hey, Rache, it does still work." He said. "Well, here it is, our new house. I got a promtion at the lab, i'm now a team leader, so now we can afford the space." He carried the box into the bedroom, before he pointed it at Rachel "Say something funny." He said. She laughed, then held up a long object with 2 red stripes on it. "The hell is that?" *The camera tumbled to the ground as the box also smashed to the floor and the camera cut out*

*The camera turned on and the man slumped down into the chair in front of the camera. He had a bottle of whisky in his hands.* "I..." He staired at the camera for a solid minute. "W..." He buried his face in his hands as the sounds of soft sobbing could be heard. "So... I'm just gonna come out and say it. We lost th-" At that point, he broke down and started to bawl his eyes out. "Fuck..." He groaned. He turned the camera off.

*The camera turned on to find the man with bags under his eyes.* "Rachel has been... Tired... Coughing... I thought it was just the miscarriage... Just got the results back... McGregor's syndrome." He took a long drag on a cigarette. "No cure..." He took another long drag. "Now, there is good news and bad news... The good news is that i have found the foremost authority on McGregor's Syndrome.  We've had a good, long talk and i have found a way to stabilize her. We've managed to put her into a sustained chemically induced coma that is keeping her in a form of stasis, The tumor isn't growing, but she can't remain conscious." He took another long drag of the cigarette. "The man... I think it's a Man... Anyway, his name is HOI. Claims that he can't say anything about who he is." He swore under his breath. "I REALLY don't want to get into the proverbial bed with this man. But he claims to be the foremost authority on McGregor's syndrome and has given me access to an immense wealth of resources... What choice do i have?" He then turned off the camera.

*The Camera was facing vampire tied down to a table as Michael took blood, it thrashed around as he backed off, then immediately, it turned to see several Bat's in cages with Morbius injecting them with a substance. Several more reels of him stabbing them. He wiped away the blood, before finally stabbing a last one that screamed, but seconds later, had healed. He stabbed it again, before looking into the bat's eyes. He saw it follow the finger. He then threw his arms up in the air.*

*He turned on the camera and sat down. "Uuuuuhhh... Right... HOI has gone dark and our assets have been frozen... This no doubt means that the money was stolen and the police will be coming for me soon. I've been forced underground... And now..." He pulled a out a syringe. "After 10 successful animal tests in a row... It's ready as it can ever be." He stared into it. "If this works... We'll be immortal... And maybe i can save HOI..." He smiled a little, then proceeded to tie a band around his arm, before searching for a vein. "One small step for man... One giant leap for mankind..." He pressed the serum into his arm and pressed the plunger. He then grabbed his arm. "FFFFFuck..." He groaned. He then fell to the ground and a demonic roar could be heard as he smashed the Camera over. The camera caught his eyes turn red before it cut out.

*The Camera was close to his face as he turned it on.* "My god... What have i done?" He asked as he looked into the hideous face "I... I am... A MONSTER!!!" He roared before smashing the camera.

*The Gotham News starts* "Hello, it's the news at 6 and i am your host Gordon Godfrey. Tonight on GCN." *The footage shows a football star scoring a touchdown* "The Gotham Knights have done it again with their 7th consecutive win of the season, details at 7." *The footage then showed a boat on its side, beached in the harbour* "But our main story, a Greek freighter has washed up on the shores of Gotham Harbour in the early hours of the morning, all onboard dead. We now go live to Vicki Vale for more details. Vicki?" *The camera cuts to a side-by-side shot with Godfrey and Vicki, who was at the port, standing near the boat.*

"Thanks Gordon, yes, it's a harrowing scene here at Gotham Waterfront as a small freighter washes up on shore with all hands lost. All of the bodies were still onboard and all crew was accounted for, the police are currently investigating the possibility of Piracy." Gordon nodded.

"Yes, but what about the rumours of the neck bites?" Gordon asked. Vicki froze for a second, before gulping and looking at someone behind the camera.

"Umm, yes. Yes, unsubstantiated rumours from the coroner's office say that all of the victims were found drained of their blood and puncture wounds on their neck." She looked annoyed. Gordon smiled.

"We also bring you the following footage, taken from the first responders on the scene." The footage was shakey as a dock worker ran towards the boat.

"Holy s**t, f****n' look at this f****n' thing. YO NIKO, CALL THE COASTGUARD, AMBULANCE, FIRE AND RESCUE, F****N' SUPERMAN, JUST GET SOMEONE OUT HERE!!!" The man continued running, as the shaky camera showed some kind of shadowy figure was seen against the moonlit backdrop. "Yo is that the f****n' Batman?! YO NIKO, I F****N' TOLD YOU HE WAS REAL!!!" He called, the man continued to run towards the ship. "Yo, Batman, me and the boys are here to help, whadya need?" At that point, the Shadowy figure began to run off down the beach at inhuman speeds. "BATMAN!!! WHERE YOU GOIN'?!"

"The footage has been making waves online, but with the confirmation of the neck-bites, the figure is coming to be known as "The Gotham Vampire" and several groups have already put out cash rewards for any information that will lead to the figure's capture."
