Kamala and Robbie are best friends that grew up together in the same apartment block in New York. At the age of 16, Robbie is able to finally save up for a car. He and Kamala take it for a joy-ride up the interstate when they are run off the road by a demonic ally possessed car. Kamala survives thanks to her Inhuman abilities activating to save her. Robbie is horrifically killed, but turns out that Mephisto isnt happy that his Knightmare is running rampant, so he makes a deal with Robbie, bring his Knightmare back to hell and become his Rider, or take his chances with the afterlife.

I really just want to have a scene where Robbie and Kamala meet up after the accident like:

Kamala: "ROBBIE!!! HOW DID YOU SURVIVE!?!?!? And how come there isnt a mark on you?"
Robbie: *Dont tell her you made a deal with Satan* "Miracle...? Wait, how did YOU survive?"
Kamala: *Dont tell him you're a mutant* "Allah...?"

That's actually a very good point. Now, my american history isn't too good for this time period, but in 1968, wouldn't most of the Teen superheroes be getting drafted to go to 'nam? I mean, guys like Peter Parker can feign having shit physical abilities, but i'm just thinking of how Robbie would be succeeding in his draft dodge, or just make it a major point to have him get shipped off to 'Nam at some point...

Interesting idea. Would this be set with the Silver Age mindset as well? Like, are we likely to see HYDRA and SHIELD battle for supremacy with a game of baseball? Joker's giant custard-pie thrower is literally just custard that will splatter and ruin everyones suits, rather than the pie being made of acid that will melt them or something?

Or when you say "Modernized" Do you mean along the same tone as Watchmen which was set in the period. Meaning that the villains of the day are Commies and the KKK?

Sadly, i am probably going to need a few days to get the CS done as i need some dental work done tomorrow. But i did spend today making a micro-image for him, based off of Dan Garrett's Earth-19 costume, although a little more gold to try and break up the colours.

@Chev would you accept a Blue Beetle character? Specifically, I was thinking of one along the lines of Dan Garrets tenure. He doesnt realize that his Beetle is alien, thinking that its magical. He learns "Spells" to activate its abilities, when in actuality, he's learning Reach language and the beetle is responding to it.
