There's definitely things to do instead of crying or feeling victimized. You could calmly digest the nice advices people gave you 14 hours ago, for example.

Seriously, pineapples are, like, miracle fruits. Pineapple jelly? Yum. Pineapple juice? Ooooh. Pineapple cake? Yesss. Pineapple cookie? Godly! Pineapple salad? Ambrosia. Pineapple pizza? The best pizza there is, fight me. Got nothing to do with pens though, so I wonder what that one Japanese guy was all about...

Now on to actual info:
1. I love pineapples

Mostly out of curiosity, Cerise had decided to let Lysandra explain everything to Akaia. She thought it'd be interesting to see how Akaia will respond to such things. It seemed though, that the Sidhe didn't really have much to say about it, something that Cerise kind of expected from Akaia. Perhaps one day... She thought. That'll be something to look forward to. Of course, regardless of that, Cerise smiled silently as Lysandra and Erik commented on Akaia's attire. Her best friend indeed looked quite nice in the outfit that she's wearing.

Afterwards, Cerise decided to perform some last minute checks on Lariat, her trusty rifle. To Cerise, Lariat was more than just a weapon; it was her partner of many years, her most prized possession that had saved her and her comrades' lives countless times by now. I probably wouldn't be here if I didn't have you, huh, Lariat? She smiled fondly as she continued with her inspection of the rifle, very carefully making sure that nothing was wrong with it. Once she were done, she laid the rifle to rest on her right shoulder, right arm wrapped around it as if hugging it. Then she closed her eyes and laid her back to rest on the back of the chair, just wanting to silently be lost in her own thoughts while waiting for everyone to gather in the room again.

Rosaria listened as Kane and Kestrel also started talking, introducing themselves and what their powers are. After Kestrel was done, Rosaria looked at Paige expecting that she will introduce herself next, but instead found that the speedster had passed out. Perhaps it was out of exhaustion, perhaps it was out of the pain, but regardless it seemed like she might not be waking up for a while. Thus, Rosaria instead turned to look at Kane and Kestrel again. She nodded simply at them and then took a deep breath in and out once before talking again.

"Right, you're the one that fired that... rainbow beam. That was... A good one, I suppose." She looked at Kane as she spoke. "MidKnight, huh... So you already uhh, decided on a... moniker." Thinking about it, she haven't really thought up much about a hero name and such. She had contemplated it briefly, and thought up something that was quite self-descriptive to what her powers are: Spectral. Wonder if that's even a good name... Oh well, I suppose it doesn't matter all that much? She shrugged, more to herself than anyone else. "I suppose mine is Spectral then... Up to you guys which name you want to call me with."

Rosaria then turned to look at Kestrel. "Make things appear?... Were you the one who made those barrier things then? To be honest, I was wondering if my eyes were playing tricks on me seeing those... Anyways, no." She shook her head and then briefly looked out the windows, staring at the night sky outside. Then she shrugged again before continuing "Not very long. Quite recent just like you. And I have no idea why I suddenly got it... One day I was just like everybody else and now I stopped a known villain from robbing the Precious Metal Vault. Talk about bizarre..."

There was also the fact that, because of the virus, said villain was very much supposed to be dead just like all the other supers. Rosaria looked down as she finished her words, wondering in her mind whether Thundercloud being alive and her suddenly getting her powers were related in anyway.

Place(s): Battlefield - Saitama Prefecture
Time: Afternoon
Interaction(s): Other members of the Defense Team

Three streaks of light blue energy beams followed by three identical, powerful sounds rained down from the sky toward the horde of Warped charging at the Japanese forces, extinguishing the lives of three oni-esque Warped in quick succession; two having their head vaporized while a smaller one was sliced in half by the beam that killed it. "First three! Hehe~" Fully braking from her descent. Teodora remained hovering about 10 meters above the frontmost of the Japanese forces' defensive line, an excited smile on her face. "My my, it seems like the vanguard teams did their job quite admirably indeed!" she said as she surveyed the battlefield. A sizable force of Warped were still heading toward the Japanese forces, however, and she quickly prepared to proceed with her next action to oppose their advance.

"Fortunately... Still many more targets available for me to frag. Fufu, now then... I suppose I'll get up close and personal and let them dance with my trusty Uragan (Hurricane)!" She then got into a neutral combat stance with her rapier, the weapon she affectionately gave the name to, held perfectly straight vertically in front of her face. Power started building up within the engines of her wings, with blue glowing light visible from within the exhaust, telltale of an imminent burst of jetfire about to propel her forward right into the mass of advancing Warped.

Morning comrades,” the voice suddenly sounded through the intercoms channel, just in time to make her pause and stop her charge. It was quite fortunate that the oldest and only male member of the team spoke up then, as in reality Teodora had quickly forgotten what her task was supposed to be in her eagerness to 'score some points' in her 'game' of killing the Warped. As part of the Defense Team, she most definitely was not supposed to advance far in front of the Japanese forces. She replied through the intercoms "Oh, good morning indeed Mr. Lang!" She then briefly contemplated Xuan-Yu's words; My, was I supposed to be on overwatch duty? Riiight. I must have forgotten! Silly me!; before then speaking up again "Indeed, indeed. I shall be performing as overwatch. You can count on me to be your eyes in the sky, my dear comrades! Moving into position!"

Thus, Teodora performed a small burst using her wings that propelled her upward until she were hovering about 30 meters above the ground. The altitude provided a good line of sight for her without compromising her ability to effectively spot and react to the enemy targets, a good balance for her task. "Supplice, holding position~" She then quickly surveyed the area, finding out that the current wave of Warped advancing on their position were composed of the typical variety and of manageable number; nothing worth alarming any of her other team member about. Next time, Uragan. You will yet get your chance to shine. She smirked as she mused, once more aiming her beam rifle at the advancing enemies.

Two more streaks of light blue energy beams fell from the sky followed by the awe-inspiring sounds, and two more low-level Warped received their sweet release of death from their agonizing existence.

The Absence of Fear in Her Eyes wasn't Bravery

Eun-Ji sighed softly. Evidently, the night wasn't going to be like the rather idyllic last few. In hindsight, she should have expected it; why else would Avrael ordered her to accept the position of being one of King Rouis' honor guards? The Volto Bianco must have known that something will happen. She wondered if this was a test. She didn't know much about him, probably nobody did. But one thing she did know was that Avrael loved this kind of test. So there she was now, along with the others, guarding the carriages. She knew at least one of the other guards, Penny Pellegrin, the girl who had noticed when Eun-Ji were taking a peek at her course registry. It didn't seem like Penny nor the others have noticed the figures lurking in the shadows though. Eun-Ji didn't exactly blame them; it usually took an assassin to notice other assassins. And Eun-Ji wasn't just a typical run-off-the-mill assassin, she was extensively trained for this kind of thing. Regardless, the fact didn't make her feel any better about it; thus why she sighed.

Blood will be inevitably shed tonight. Likely quite a bit of it. She was not looking forward to it, but she had been given a task and she will fulfill it to the best of her abilities. For a Lotus Sentry, any mission must be tackled on with the utmost effort no matter the cost. It had been hammered deep into her that her life was worth less than the successful completion of the mission.

Thus, as her ruminations were done, Eun-Ji calmly steeled herself.

The thing about battle between magic users was that the RAS was not the only thing that mattered. Experience mattered. Skills mattered. Raw physical capabilities mattered. The mental capacity to not hesitate mattered. And the ability to seize the momentum also mattered. The first shot had barely been fired when Eun-Ji made her move. She already knew what was about to happen: the chaos that always followed the opening act, and it was this chaos that she must make use of as efficiently as she can. Immediately, she dismounted and kept low while drawing from the loud noises and the chaotic momentum of movements all around her. Then, using both the chaos and her rather smaller stature as advantages, she made as sure as she can that she attracted as little attention as possible. Next, she bolted for the treeline, using both her heritage as a Skyborn and some Kinetic magic to move as fast as she can. There was little need to hide the noise she herself was making; the chaos of the battle already did that for her.

Then she proceeded to the counteroffensive. The defense can be handled by the other guards. With a target as important as King Rouis, the assassins' attention and their fierce attacks will be focused on taking him and any other priority targets down as fast as they can. They were unlikely to expect an unknown factor like her to flank them. And not a flanking maneuver from the back at that. The thing about most people were that they tend not to look upward. Thus as soon as she had reached the trees, Eun-Ji once more used her heritage as a Skyborn to good use, seamlessly propelling herself upward far above the top of the trees. Thus the trees themselves became a wall of barriers for her, providing even more cover from sight and possible attack. But this was not the only reason why she had launched herself up to the sky.

It was such a shame. Such a beautiful night. She stared briefly at the stars above. For that brief moment, she felt sorrow. The stars reminded her of the fireworks she had seen during her first night in Ersand'Enise. Like those fireworks, the stars were majestic and beautiful. And just like the fireworks, the stars were not eternal. Nothing was, in the end, as even the brightest of stars will be extinguished with the passage of time. Why did they have to die? She still didn't have an answer to that. Thus, she can only accept the inevitability of it, no matter how much she wished for it to not be the truth of the world.

I'm sorry that they have to die.

Then the sorrow completely disappeared. It was time to fulfill the other reason of why she had taken to the sky. She looked back down to the trees below. And she sensed them. She had seen some of them earlier, the Magusjaegers, but the eyes were easily fooled. Telltale aura of Illusion magic, not so much. Two. Her eyes were fixed on two different signatures, two of the gun-wielding attackers masking their own presence using Arcane magic. Without further delay, she changed direction midair using her Skyborn ability again, her head facing the direction of the signatures. Then she launched herself at them.

Toward one of the signatures, she threw a dagger propelled with Kinetic energy, making it a far more lethal projectile aimed straight at the target's head from above. Toward the other, the weapon was herself. She enhanced her own right hand with as much Kinetic magic as she can and then pulled the hand back. Then, like a human-shaped cannonball, she performed a bone pulverizing palm strike at the target's head right at the moment of impact; the act both a powerful offense and also a way to break her own fall using her enhanced right hand.

And thus was concluded the first part of her counteroffensive.

Place(s): The Crows' Nest - Medical Area → Cerise's & Akaia's Room → Storage Room & Armory
Time: Feb 23rd, 2057 - Morning
Interaction(s): Akaia & Erik

Cerise shook her head again as Akaia repeatedly apologized to her. "No, really, it's okay Kaia. Please stop apologizing... Oh, this is for me?" She then picked up the handgun, examining it briefly. She nodded in satisfaction and smiled even wider as she addressed Akaia again. "Thanks, Kaia! This will be perfect as a sidearm. I owe you one! Anyway, I actually need to get changed too." She was still wearing her casual at-home clothes herself. "And nope, I'm not feeling hungry at all. Go on ahead and get changed then, Kaia. I'll catch up!" Then she stood up from her chair and started walking to the washing basin to wash the bowl and drinking glass. Along the way, she waved at Erik, giving him a big bright smile along with it. "Hi, big brother! All done with the thing in the Strategy Room?"

As soon as she were done with washing the dishes, Cerise then skipped briskly to head to her and Akaia's room. There, she changed into what she called as her 'mission outfit', a much more practical and sturdy set of clothes that nonetheless will not hinder her mobility. She kept her new glock courtesy of Akaia in a spare holster attached to her belt. Then she headed off again to go to the Storage Room & Armory to fetch some other personal supplies that she will need along with her trusty custom-made rifle, Lariat, not forgetting to cheerfully greet the others that were working on loading the van and then doing whatever she can to help speed up the process as well. Physical strength wasn't really her thing, but she was still deceivingly stronger than the average human, allowing her to lift heavy crates without a problem.

And thus, after all the preparations were done, she were fully ready for the mission ahead.

Place(s): The Horizon - Command Room → Engineering Bay → Hangar
Time: Afternoon
Interaction(s): Small one with Pyralis, Seraphima, and Louisa

Thus lunch was concluded and Teodora started walking out of the Dining Area to head for the Command Room just like the others. She was walking rather slowly in comparison though, and thus arrived later than Elise, Louisa, and Pyralis. Not quite late, but not particularly early either. Once inside, she took a vacant seat and then started to look around curiously at the computers-filled room. This observation was then cut short by Sandra Morrison as she began the briefing in earnest. Teodora listened intently to Sandra's words, her usual smile remaining on her face as she digested the information given to them regarding the operation. My, taking back Saitama huh. Fufu, I suppose that will be quite interesting indeed. Oh, maybe they'll even start producing those highly reputed Sayama green tea again once the prefecture is retaken. That'll be really nice~

Her internal musings continued for a while as she listened to the briefing, stopping only after the briefing proceeded to the division of teams. "Ooooh." She openly mumbled as she saw that she'll be teamed up with Seraphima and Louisa. With her ever-present smile in place, she waved at the two while winking, mouthing off a silent 'Looking forward to it' Protection duty huh. Being on the defensive... Heheh, alright, it'll be no biggie I'm sure. The briefing was concluded soon after. She responded to the commander, "Nooope. All good and ready to go, Domnișoară Morrison. I'll get going ASAP, fufu~" With that, she started to leave the Command Room. She walked briskly while remaining graceful, quite eager to get going and excited with the prospect of action. As she walked pass Pyralis, she waved at the younger girl, oblivious to Pyralis' disdain for her. "Fufu, good luck, Pyra. Ooooh, this is so gonna be fun~" She then skipped ahead, slowly gaining speed until she was practically jogging toward the Engineering Bay.

Once there, she retrieved her Chi-Mechframe without delay, eagerly receiving it from one of the engineers. The compact mode of her Chi-Mechframe took the form of a metallic hairband, dark blue in color with the word "Marche au Supplice" engraved in golden letters on the center of the band. She promptly took off the normal hairband she was wearing, exchanging it with the metallic one. Then, she immediately skipped off to head for the hangar with an excited smile on her face. At the moment, her usually graceful movements were overwritten by her excitement as she raced through the place.

Soon enough, it was time for the mission to begin. Teodora stood within one of the launch bays, already changed into her pilot suit. A voice from a speaker then emerged, resounding through the launch bay. "Supplice, this is command. You are cleared for launch. Good luck and God speed." Teodora's smile widened at that until it became more akin to a grin. Fufu, finally~ Quickly, she started the transformation sequence of her Chi-Mechframe, causing the headband to separate into multiple separate pieces that floated around her. These individual pieces then expanded, each transforming into a different part of the frame. A helmet on her head, an armored cloak covering her torso, armored boots and greaves, the hilt of a rapier in her right hand and the grip of a rifle in her left hand, and finally a pair of wings each floating on each of her side. The sequence was then finished with the manifestation of a bright, light blue halo above her head and a flash of light which briefly revealed the outlines of a sphere shaped dome of light blue energy barrier all around her. Along with the completion of the transformation, the airlock of the launch bay was also fully opened, revealing the great blue sky outside.

"Mmmm..." Teodora swung the rapier hilt in her right hand a few times in well-practiced motions before then checking the rifle grip in her left hand. She then nodded in satisfaction, seemingly finding everything to be in order. "Excellent. Fufu, now then~" Short burst of blue flames spewed out of her Chi-Mechframe's wings, causing her to hover a few centimeters off the ground. Teodora licked her lips once, before grinning wide and exclaiming to the communication system, "My, I wonder how many I'll bag today? How exciting! Fufu... Teodora Constanza, Supplice, marching on!"

Another, larger jets of blue flames fired from the wings, instantly propelling Teodora out of the launch bay. A slender beam of blue light took the form of a energy blade out of the rapier hilt in her right hand while the rifle in her left hand unfolded to its full length. Resembling a dark angel, Teodora soared through the sky, a fully confident smile on her face. "Those Warped sooo won't expect what's coming to hit them!"

Place(s): The Horizon - Dining Area
Time: Afternoon
Interaction(s): Small one with Hoshiko & Norika

Teodora returned Hoshiko's wave with a much much less exuberant wave of her own. "My, as full of guts as ever, Hoshiko. Always quite delightful to see. And I see that you're getting along very, very well-" her mischievous expression as she said so made it clear that she's making a jab at them, "-with the ever so charming and delectable Domnișoară (Miss) Dulac. Very good. Fufu~" She had always found the interactions between Hoshiko and Norika to be amusing. At times quite rather adorable in fact. "Quite adorable, you two." And of course, Teodora being Teodora, she saw nothing wrong with stating as much openly. In a way, she was perhaps the worse among the seven girls in not recognizing that her words or conducts might cause others to dislike her. She was simply too self-assured and content with herself; painfully so.

And just like that, with her smile still plastered to her face, she continued eating her desserts again. Soon enough, she was done with the small meal and after a small act of taking care of her dental hygiene, leaned back contentedly on her seating.

The best thing about this 'dinner party'? The food of course. After that utterly disappointing lunch, Ryuuko was left very happy with the choices Jeanne had made for their dinner menu. She took and tasted a little bit of everything that she can comfortably eat, alternating in a specific order as she enjoyed her meal. The second best thing was, well, the fact that it was a 'party'. Ryuuko didn't really like eating dinner alone, so being able to eat with this band of misfits was nice. Bonus points to the fact that she quite like Franz, Bang, and somehow also Jeanne. She also felt that Inti seemed okay so far. As for Nazca... Well, anyone can make a mistake. Just as long as she doesn't pull another antic like Katsubochi again the next time...

As for the lack of Jeanne's personal touches that she had discovered earlier while curiously snooping around the room, Ryuuko didn't think too much of it. Indeed, it's probably just a matter of Jeanne storing her personal stuffs elsewhere. The only unfortunate thing about that fact was that it didn't really help with Ryuuko's boredom as she waited for Jeanne to finish her bathing.

Oh well, that aside... To more important matters. While still eating, Ryuuko started looking at the blackboard that was filled with the information that the members of the group had gathered earlier. She swallowed the food in her mouth and paused as she stared at the board for a few seconds, before then sighing. "Man. That's a whole lot of extra questions with no answer there..." The weird black shape in the photograph. The gunman's also weird positioning... The whole thing reeked of wrongs and fishiness, also likely somehow connected to the annoying seaweed scented fog. One heck of an island this turned out to be, even for one that was filled with talented Polymaths. To think that it was still only the second day...

"Alright, so! Thoughts, anyone? Oh and I haven't gotten to really checking the students registry yet. Anyone done that already to see if our mysterious manbat's in there?" That was one thing that should be immediately obvious at least. Either the manbat's there in the registry or he wasn't. If he was, then that just made things so much simpler. If he wasn't, well, that just made him all the more suspicious.

"Owe?... Ah. No, please don't worry about it, Ms. Srikandi..." Anki seemed to have successfully missed the joke within Srikandi's spoken gratitude towards her as she finished using her magic to treat the knight's wounds. She then paused briefly as she once more focused on checking how much mana she can possibly gather in her current state. Upon being sure that she should be able to handle another healing spell, she followed Srikandi over to Fei as Srikandi picked him up. Without much preamble, she then started casting another Healing Touch spell to treat the sleeping fighter's wounds. It was as she were doing so while listening to Srikandi's order to the party that she soon noticed the pressure in the air.

The source of the pressure soon enough shown itself via the mighty flapping of her wings. ... Another dragon. Larger. Which means it is likely that is is also older and thus much more powerful. She mulled in her mind. Her lack of experiences once more became apparent in that unlike Srikandi who understood very well how powerful the new dragon that just arrived likely was and how it would very likely be impossible for the party to defeat it, Anki didn't show any concern or fear at all. Instead she merely stood beside Srikandi, relaxed while analyzing the large dragon passively. "Hmm..." The dragon soon lowered its head, revealing the ones that had been riding on it. A most unexpected development.

".....?" Anki tilted her head slightly to the left upon seeing them. These... people that were riding on the dragon looked like a single human female accompanied by several automatons. But the thing that the female human was wearing were unlike anything that Anki had ever seen before. These automatons too (In reality only one of them counted as an automaton, Q-T, although the armor that Garret and his squad were wearing also made them looked like automatons to Anki), Anki had never seen anything like them. Which was most unusual, because Oberia was at the forefront of the world when it came to the creation of automatons both sentient and non sentient. She soon arrived to the conclusion that these automatons must be some kind of new type of constructs resulting from an experiment she wasn't aware of. Perhaps this human woman that seemed to be the leader was some kind of wizard or alchemist then.

She continued silently looking at these 'dragon riders' with curiosity in her eyes, analyzing every details she can see and committing them into her memories. She nodded as Srikandi asked her the question. "Yes, Ms. Srikandi. She spoke. In Pataliputran." Anki wasn't really fluent in the language, but she had partial understanding of it. She wasn't feeling like talking however, content with letting Srikandi do it. Instead, she continued to observe the fascinating and foreign-looking people, especially the automatons behind her.

Place(s): The Crows' Nest - Telescope & Strategy Room
Time: Feb 23rd, 2057 - Morning
Interaction(s): Akaia (@Exit) & Poppy (@dreamingflowers)

"Oh. Hello there. Laplace, yes? Hehe, you want to play with Licorice?" Cerise spoke to the new, younger crow that had perched itself onto her right hand beside Licorice. She then watched on as the crows interacted with one another, giggling lightly upon seeing Licorice not quite appreciating the invasion of its personal space by the eager younger crow. Cerise then looked at the owner of the young crow, replying her greeting with a cheerful greeting of her own before returning to watching the two crows. It was then that Licorice suddenly turned and squawked "aKAAaaa!" as it spotted the return of its owner, Akaia. This, of course, caused Cerise to notice of Akaia's entry to the room as well. Cerise's smile widened even more as she happily waved her left hand at Akaia. "Akaia! There you are! Finally. I'm starting to miss you, it's so weird to be sleeping in the room all alone, you know?"

As Cerise started walking towards Akaia, the other Sidhe of the group reached Akaia first and started inspecting her. A few words later and Poppy started taking Akaia with her to head to the medical area to take care of her.

Cerise, noticing that nobody seemed to have any particular need of her help with preparations for the mission, promptly decided to follow the two Sidhe, catching up to walk beside her close friend. "Mmhmm! Yes. While you were away, we had the fortune of having Ionna and Vincent join us. I'm quite sure they'll fit with us all just fine, hehe. Oh and, my, you looks really tired, Kaia. Is that why Poppy is taking you with her?" Then she turned at Poppy to ask her a question. "Can I help with anything, Poppy?" It was something she asked not only out of kindness, as despite the smile on her face, it was quite obvious that she was concerned about her best friend's well-being; something that she had always expressed whenever not seeing Akaia for more than a single day.
