Alice Nova

The impression of a cheerful girl that Saki seemed intent on keeping up would stay on Alice's mind throughout their conversation. It seemed genuine in nature and was almost heartwarming to see. Or rather, those were the observations that Alice had made from the first interaction the two of them shared. Suffice to say it was nowhere near enough to be a proper introduction.
However, more intriguingly, Saki really seemed to be some kind of computer-like being, considering how there was wifi coming out of her, supposedly. That raised a whole bunch of questions! Does she have to pay an internet provider? How does she set the name and password? Was the wifi any good? Questions she'd be sure to ask later... should she be bothered to do so.

Saki pointed at Alice's hair which she deemed "bedhair". To be fair, it was an adequate judgement to make should one not be familiar with Alice's quirk but the owlgirl couldn't help but chuckle as a result of it because it seemed kind of cute. In actuality, of course, it was nothing like bedhair. Instead, it was a result of her owl quirk's type being the great horned owl for which these outgrows of feathers were typical. In Alice's case, they manifested as outgrowths of differently coloured hair.

"Ah that? Nono that is not bed-hair, but rather-"

Alice was then cut off by the teacher commencing the first class session, which promptly caused Alice to stop talking and focus back on the class, similarly to Saki and all the other students.

One after the other they began introducing themselves and listing their reasons for becoming heroes, or rather, describing the image of a hero in their mind. While Alice did pay attention to what they said, it was quite hard to focus on since she was so tired. Her eyes felt like they would fall shut any moment now... but of course, they wouldn't. Naturally, she had enough willpower to fight through a bit of tiredness..., especially on her first day! First impressions mattered after all.

And with that thought in mind, Alice finally rose as well once she was pointed at by their teacher to introduce herself. Making sure her posture was as excellent as she managed to, Alice politely began speaking.

"My name is Alice Nova. It is my pleasure to meet all of you."

The girl followed this up with a slight and courteous bow forward out of politeness and her own manners.

"A hero represents and fights for true justice. I wish to represent that concept myself one day."

...is what she could think of before sitting down again. Truth be told, her ideals weren't exactly chiseled in stone yet, however, this was a close approximation to how she truly felt. So far Alice just wasn't sure how to properly word it.
After having spoken her introduction the glasses-wearing girl quietly sat down again so that the next person could begin their introduction.

Alice Nova

As time began to pass, more and more students began filling the room. Needless to say, just like many of her peers before, Alice noticed them as well. While her severe lack of sleep and subsequent drowsiness caused her senses to dull off a bit, she was still attentive enough and also interested enough to observe her fellow hero course students. While her observations would remain rather superficial for now, it would likely become much more in-depth once Alice actually started interacting with them. For now, this was more than sufficient though. The owl knew that her energy for social interactions was rather limited and, especially on her first day, she would need all the energy she had to get through the day without feeling exhausted. Well... more exhausted than she already was feeling anyways.

Just as Alice was idly staring outside, letting her weary eyes trail over anything that could be seen from the classroom window, familiarising herself with her surroundings, another student decided to sit down in front of Alice.
The four-eyes turned her head to face the newcomer who would likely sit in front of her from now on, the way it seemed. Silently Alice awaited for her to finish and used the time to eye the body of Saki. While it might have been rude to do so, the owl could not help but notice the... power cord that was sticking out from where would expect a tail to emerge. When Alice looked back up, she saw Saki hand her a piece of paper with a wide cheery smile. Alice would take a mental note of the fact that Saki seemed to be a rather cheerful and open personality. Why else would she simply talk to someone she didn't know just like that? A little "gift" to solidify their potential friendship was handed over as well...
While this was tedious, Alice most certainly felt flattered and intended to respond appropriately, in her mind anyway.

"Thank you... Saki. My name is Alice, it is my pleasure to make your acquaintance."

As she was replying, Alice put the piece of paper away safely in her bag. "Your Wifi you say?"
Wanting to inquire about the subject matter more, Alice was somewhat intrigued by the idea of someone having a power cord attached to their body. She really made a conscious effort not to appear like she was dead-tired which, in reality, of course, she was.

It was still very much early in the morning and the sun had not even appeared yet. Regardless, many people were already awake and preparing for their daily routine, like school or work. This routine had been established for so long and most people get along with it just fine. From dawn till dusk, as they say, had become the norm for society. Some people had a really hard time getting used to it though.
An exemplary case of the latter phenomenon was Alice. Although she had finally woken up, it only happened after alarm number 7 out of 25 had rung. Before that Alice had gotten an amazing total amount of 3 hours of sleep! Just the right amount of time for the first day of school, right?
"I goddamn hate being nocturnal..."

Alice muttered to herself in between a few yawns as she made her way into the kitchen to eat breakfast. Luckily for Alice, her not-so-night-owl-ish mother had already prepared her breakfast in advance. "Thank youuuuu mother..." the girl said to herself. Both of her parents had already left for work- Luckily Alice was able to take a relaxed stance since she had no train nor bus to catch. Her living quite close to the school was awfully convenient, especially since she highly enjoyed taking her mornings slowly and relaxed. She ate her breakfast in a timely manner and used her time to read up on some social media meanwhile. Of course, she was always a lurker but never actually contributed anything, just reading was more than enough for her. She didn't even check the pages of her friends much really, it was rather a combination of fandom pages, news pages, and occasionally some meme pages as well. All in all, it would have been a very relaxed morning and thus a great start into her new academic environment was it not for her crippling tiredness.

Afterward, she prepared herself in the bathroom and put on her clothes, including of course her new school uniform. The girl took one last time to look at herself in the mirror, cleaned her glasses, and put them on. "It's as good as it is gonna get I suppose." Alice said to herself before grabbing her bag and leaving the house, locking the door behind her.
It was her first day of school in such a new environment and she was properly excited, albeit her outward expression didn't exactly show it. A possible side effect of her dreadful sleepiness.

It was only a fairly short walk to school and after about 15 minutes of walking, Alice had finally arrived. On her way to her classroom, the girl mostly ignored the things happening around her. She moved past a few students with a polite "Excuse me-" and entered her class only shortly thereafter. Upon having entered the classroom, Alice greeted the teacher with a bow and a quick "Good morning" before taking a seat. It would seem as though it was on a first come first serve basis, so she chose the window side in order to get as much light as possible.
Thanks for all the interest though! We are amazed by how many people were interested in it~

Ruby Mamoru

Team Lance was beginning to move to the entrance of the arena, being ready to go in at any moment. After just having finished her small speech to prepare her team-members, Mina out of all people decided to plan ahead with Ruby. While the two of them had some interesting interactions in the past, namely because of their weird relationships with Amane, all of these things mattered not in the face of the exercise. Here they would have to cooperate at any cost because they really would not stand any chance at all otherwise against the famous prefects. After Mina's proposition, Ruby stared at her for just a second too long, blinked once and then replied with a slight nod.

"That sounds like a plan."

Mentally however, Ruby added: "Try to keep up."

With the teams being prepped for the upcoming task there was only the late-arrival Acion to be briefed after he had just been informed of the situation by Dulga. The boy would soon approach Ruby as the team-leader so that she could include him in the strategy. Although to be fair, there really wasn't that much of a strategy to begin with... she'd definitely have to work on that. Regardless, Acion raised a valid point concerning his aerial abilities. His mention of the usefulness of such abilities in being the watching eye above the battlefield reminded Ruby of the time when Acion and her had clashed in battle during the first exercise in which she had participated. It had been a rather intense battle in which both combatants had seemed to be of equal strength... However, moments before they had wanted to go all out they had been so rudely interrupted... therefore they had never been able to find out who was stronger. Regardless, Ruby knew to respect Acion's power, having experienced it first hand, and therefore was able to trust him with splitting off from the group, albeit a short distance. The catgirl gave Acion a short and confident nod.

"Alright. Just stay within hearing distance so we will be able to communicate considering the fact that we don't use the ear-pieces as per Dulga's advice." Ruby was about to turn away before she remembered something.
"Oh and, I do have enhanced hearing." She pointed to her large feline ears.
"So, keep that in mind." and with that, the briefing was finally concluded.

Her opinion of Acion, at least regarding his actual combat abilities, was fairly high and his presence gave her more confidence regarding the outcome of the exercise.

Ruby moved herself to the entrance to the arena in which the exercise would take place to regroup with the full Team Lance. Taking a final glance around her class-/team mates, Ruby was ready to rush into the scene. "Le-"
Her announcement was interrupted by a certain shield-bearer bursting her way through the door into the training area. The catgirl was taken aback a bit by this sudden development but quickly shook her head to regain her composure and then dashed through the door with her teammembers.

As of this moment they were sort of aimlessly wandering through the arena, waiting for intel by their watchful eye in the sky, Acion. Luckily said intel wouldn't have to wait for long as a bonechilling scream and loud noises of demolition and destruction would drown out the oddly peaceful quietness of the area just seconds before. They were enough to stop Ruby in her tracks, turning her head towards the sky to see what Acion had to say as he was the only one being able to see the immense threat causing such threatening sounds.

His wild body movements and gesturing left Ruby staring at the birdie-boy with a confused expression.

Once he was finally done she would point at her feline ears with a still neutral expression on her face, although there was a sliiiiight hint of annoyance visible, trying to signal him that she was, in fact, able to hear him.

Kiyoko

On the prefects' side of things, the tactical discussion was kept much more simple than that of the students. They had already worked together countless of times as part of their training, meaning that this was just routine formation for them, with some minor adjustments made to it. However, hearing her teamcaptain tell Kiyoko to just cause some chaos, made her eyes light up immediately. "This is going to be fuuuuuuuunnnnn~~" Kiyoko claimed before splitting apart from the group together with Felix.
As they were walking to a position where they'd be able to mess with the students the best, Felix began a conversation.
"We could honestly just let Nestor go rampage and he'd be able to take all of them out. Buuuuuttttttt... where is the fun in that? I want to mess with them!"
Once Felix told Kiyoko to not worry about her "pretty little head" the ghostly girl immediately turned around and stuck her tongue out towards Felix in childish defiance. "You know very well that I'll be fine!... I wonder, should I pay our opponents a visit and say hello to them? Or would you rather have an elaborate scheme to drive them crazy!" Kiyoko pronounced the word "crazy" with a load of cheerful enthusiasm and a hint of evilness in it.
"Tho' You'd have to do the planning. I'm just good at flying in and giving them a good old scare!"
Kiyoko giggled.
As of now both of them were just moving along the back alleys located in the outer parts of the arena whereas most of the action was happening in the central part of it. They were preparing to be in a flanking position!

Ruby Mamoru

Being tasked with leading her own team in this exercise, Ruby would walk over to gather "Team Lance" around her. As of now, according to Dulga, it consisted of Yukari, Mina, Mamoru and, of course, Ruby. It was hard to judge what fighting power would be possible to be brought by this team, but they all seemed like swift combatants. Now, the next hurdle to overcome was the fact that Ruby was relatively new to the class, having done one grande exercise with the others and not having been part of the "incident" which many of the others underwent recently. Therefore she did not have a solid chance to get a good grasp of the other's quirks and abilities, which made planning for a strategy difficult.
"Okay everyone!" The catgirl eyed her teammates for this upcoming task.
"As mentioned before, we don't know their quirks. This means we can't expect what they throw at us. Therefore, we should be ready for anything. Furthermore, I believe it'd be best if we stuck together at all times. As a group, we have a higher chance to anticipate and avoid their attacks." Ruby let out a small sigh and eyed her partners.
"These things aside though, they probably underestimate us quite a bit and don't consider us to be a big threat. Our best shot is to overwhelm them before they have a chance to react. A quick, precise strike by all members of our team to overwhelm a single member of them, before they have a chance to raise their defenses adequately."
It was now that Ruby noticed that the other team was already getting ready to commence the exercise, having most likely finished their pep-talk.
"I wish we'd have more time to figure out synergies between our quirks, but we'll have to make do with what we have.
Before leaving it at that, Ruby noticed that this really wasn't the right note to end it at. The tone was all negative and wouldn't motivate anyone to do their best. With a somewhat forced smirk, Ruby addressed her group once more.
"Anyways, this is our chance to prove ourselves to the elite of this school. Let's show them what this future generation of heroes is capable of."
With these words as her final words, Ruby would walk back over to Dulga to signal that they were ready to go.

Cops and robbers, huh? Now that just sounds convenient to Ruby. After all, her quirk was practically made for restraining and detaining people, she wouldn't even need the tape for it. However, before she got too much into thinking strategy for this little exercise, she glanced over to a particular figure approaching her. One whose presence she did not exactly expect in this environment. Just before she was able to say anything to Amane after making eye-contact with him, he would point out her tail. This prompted Ruby to quickly look at her tail and, sure enough, it was swaying. "Tsk" It was painfully easy to tell her emotions through the subtle notions of her body, while her face, in contrast, gave hardly any information about her state of mind. She'd really have to work on suppressing those kinds of things. Since Amane had caught her so off guard, she had no clever rebuttal or anything of the sorts to what he said to her. However, before she had any chance to say anything at all he had already walked past her. Once again she missed the chance to reply and was left dumbfounded. Not take them lightly? Of course, she wouldn't take them lightly!

While frustrated at Amane's statement, it did make the catgirl think again. Maybe he had a point. Obviously, since he wasn't familiar with her quirk too much, he wouldn't know her gameplan was, but his implications were enough to make Ruby reconsider.
Yes, in theory, it would be easy to touch them and thus detain them for a while, or at least render them motionless until something else could be done. But to get to that point she'd have to get close enough to touch them first! Considering what Amane had said, this almost trivial task would probably end up being much more difficult than initially anticipated by her.

Once the class had grouped up to form a strategy, Dulga was quick to take the lead on giving directions and ideas. And quite frankly, they seemed reasonable enough. Honestly, Ruby was just happy to be considered the leader of her team, even if that did not mean much. In her mind it was a sort of acknowledgment of her skill and that alone was enough to satisfy her.
Eventually, Dulga had finished her explanation of her plan. It was then when Ruby was able to add something.
She lifted her right hand and used her left hand to point at her palm. "If I touch them just once with my hand I can render them completely immobile thanks to my quirk. They won't be able to move or retaliate, as long as they wear clothes anyway since I can only freeze those. However, while they probably won't be able to do much in that state, we cannot move them into any cell whatsoever either as it becomes impossible to move them by then. I suggest we use that time to let Hammer Team do damage to them because, quite frankly, I probably won't be able to really damage them myself." She added the last part due to her acknowledgment of their massive skill difference after what Amane had said. "So just let me touch them and finish those who are locked down off, ideally before my quirk wears off. Even if that is probably easier said than done..."
This was all Ruby wanted to add for now. The plan Dulga thought of seemed solid in theory, all that was missing would be the execution.
