He's not spoken unless spoken to, he doesn't raise his voice or is even known to get angry. He is a bit wary around large gatherings and flinches at loud sudden noises or yelling. Despite that, Rohaan is rutheless in a fight. He shows no remorse as he slices through his enemies. There is no fear in his eyes when an abomination is standing infront of him. Some have even said they have seen him smile.

Seyf is a booming city surrounding a grand lake and located in the Kann desert. It's streets are covered with all sorts of colorful people, lively music, and a booming economy. Born as Issam to a wealthy merchant family, the Ait. He was the youngest of the three Ait children. Amara, the first born, Lei, the second, and baby Issam.
His older sisters eagerly followed his parent's footsteps. Slowly but surely, they began to create their own connections around the Kann deserts and its inhabitants. The oldest married a rival merchant. The whole relationship and union caused arguments in both families. There was even a duel somewhere in there, but in the end, Amara was happily married. His other sister continued the family business and took after their parents' position after they retired. And Issam, Issam kept to himself all throughout the years.
He was a quiet and timid boy growing up. Issam didn't have the talent for talking or the charm the rest of his family possessed. Instead, he'd spend his time reading any book he could about arcane magic, its history, and how to manipulate the webs and ley lines of magic around them. It took him a few months to convince his parents, but Issam was finally allowed to pursue his curiosity.
He was around 11 when he conjured his first item—a small piece of wood. Happy and proud of their son, the Ait parents were now fueling Issam's interest and newly found passion. They agreed to send him to Arskel, where he would study under one of the most powerful Arcane users in the city-state.
He began his studies with the old wizard at 12. He ran away when he turned 17.
Issam spent two years living in The Cliff's streets. He didn't know his name or who he was. All he had in his possession was a ring and an old journal. One day someone from the Wayfarer's Guild found him while he used an illusion spell to help him steal some bread. They took him in after chasing him down all around The Cliff. They had been impressed by his ability to create very detailed illusions.
Now, as Rohaan, he has been in the Guild for three years. He had slowly gotten over the fear of using his arcane magic and made progress with human interactions. Little by little Rohaan is coming out of his shell.

● Arcane Magic - Issam has spent most of his life studying and researching this type of magic. While he still has quite a long way to go, he is eager to continue his studies. ● Conjuration - Rohaan uses arcane magic for the purpose of conjuring manifestations of creatures, energy or objects. He mainly uses conjuration for weapons, afraid he'd lose control of his magical abilities again. ● Illusion - Rohaan is most comfortable using Illusionary magic. His illusions have become rather intricate. ● Abjuration - Rohaan can easily create magical wards or armor that protects a person from magic or physical damage. A ward only lasts a few seconds while the armor a few minutes. He has yet to create abjuration spells that last more than three minutes. ● Devil's Tongue - An ability passed down for generations in his family, Rohaan has the ability to influence others minds. He is limited to using this ability once a day and it doesn't work most of the time due to his lack of social skills.

● A dagger he stole from some rich jerk during his first year at the Guild. The Guild doesn't know it's stolen. ● A silver ring with a sapphire. There are letters engraved on the inside but he doesn't understand the language or knows where he got it from. He uses it as a focus. ● An old journal with all sorts of writings and spells in it. They are written in the same language as the letters on the ring. While he doesn't understand the letters he recognizes the drawings of the sigils and sketches of herbs. Doesn't let anyone else see it. |
