@Mintz Hmm. I'm interested. I don't have a favorite Marvel character (favorites are hard! How do you choose just one?) and I'm only passingly familiar with the Marvel Universe (I've watched most of the movies and a few of the tv shows, but that's the limit of my experience) but I think I'd like to join.
Is there a limit on the number of characters you can have? I have a few ideas, one being a brother-sister pair, one controlling electricity with machine empathy, the other with a water affinity.
EDIT: I think they might have been Hydra-trained as children, in a German facility, but their dad broken them out with help from some buddies and powered individuals... Is that okay?

There's no technical limit, though ofc make sure to only do as much as you're comfortable with. As for the sibby pair, it sounds neat! I'd have to see more to give thoughts beyond that, but that's how it goes xD. Though, heads-up, we do have an electricity-based character around already, but as long as you differentiate yourself from them, I'm certain it'll be fine. :) And as for their origins, that's totally fine!

Appearance: Cassius is usually seen with very trendy street attire, ranging from air jordans to levi jeans, he takes great pride in what he wears, rocking some popular beats headphones, he tends to be listening to them when alone, finishing off with what appears to be some very stylish lightning burn marks on his jacket, mapping out a proof of the extent of his powers that he wears as a badge of honour hidden in plain sight. Whilst under the name Galvanize, his hair shoots up, instead of his casual spiky loose hair, injecting white streaks of hair into his look, a static energy envelops him with tiny bolts of lightning travelling, scattering randomly around him as his eyes match that electric blue, the calming eyes in the midst of the storm.
Personality: Just like alternating current (AC), his demeanour shifts periodically, as we wields both his calm and relaxed composure, to his outgoing almost over-confident display, most of the time you see him not caring about situations that he thinks can be handled without him, but for the more perspective of the bunch, he always has his eyes sharpened to interject if necessary. Usually seen lost in his own little world taking photos, posting and interacting on his social media, he tends to show a lot of pride when it comes to his following.
History: Being the child of Storm and Nightcrawler, great things have always been expected from Cassius, when his powers came to him at a young age, his parents had very different plans for him, whilst Nightcrawler wanted him to have a very leisure and relaxed life away from being a mutant, Storm wanted to nurture it and have him grow into his coming responsibilities, jumping from training and school life, switching between two worlds Cassius felt as if he didn't feel at home in either one, until he starting taking things into his own hands, as with age we wanted to live his life his own way. His innate charismatic nature grew him a very successful schooling life, whilst also landing him a modeling gig, making a good amount of money and giving birth to his social media footprint, avoiding his calling throughout a long time, but as most know, there are things that are just inevitable.
When Thanos invaded Earth and managed to collect all 6 infinity stones, leading to the infamous snap that eradicated half of life as we know it in the existing universe, and fate would hold no punches back towards Cassius' life, for he did not only lose one parent, but both, reduced to nothing but mere dust, without even a chance to say goodbye, Cassius felt more lost and alone than ever, spiraling into a frenzied rage and depression, drawing all of the lightning into his body, he bolted right through the night sky fleeing New York City to an isolated holiday house they had in the countryside in a neighboring state, to mourn the loss of his parents in segregation.
After a few days of grieving, he returned back to a chaos-ridden city, The once vibrant metropolis had become a playground for criminals both armed with countless lethal weapons, and some with their own superhuman abilities. With every corner hiding a new threat, the city's skyline is a battleground of skyscraper clashes and frenetic energy. The NYPD, overwhelmed and understaffed, waging a relentless battle to maintain order in this bedlam of an urban jungle, being weakened by every wave of superpowered crime that threatens to engulf the city. Lightning Creation - Galvanize can easy produce lightning from his own body, using it both offensively and defensively, shooting out lightning bolts, and other means of attacks.
Lightning Reflexes - Galvanize’s body is energized with his own unique electrons, making the signals that his brain sends to his body near instantaneous, following the motto of one of his most cherished idols: <Snipped quote by Muhammad Ali>
Lightning/ Electric Manipulation - Galvanize can utilize the existing electricity that resides in our modern world and weaponize it or even rejuvenate himself, empowering his attacks or altering the electric machine/ equipment to turn on, off, or activate its action properties, and in very rare moments, weaponizing natural lightning itself.
Hyper Bolt - Concentrating all of his lightning into every cell of his body, Galvanize can dematerialize and shoot himself out into god-like speed, reaching up to Mach 364, in other words, from one point of New York city to the other (35 miles) in half a second, but with so much power, comes equal strain, as as he stands now he can only pull this off for around 5 seconds, risking straining and exhausting his body if pushed beyond his limit.

Irritable: His pride is very important to him, Galvanize’s psyche isnt the sturdiest when it comes to insults or being shamed, lashing out irrationally at times getting him to trouble.
Durability: Even though landing a blow on Galvanize with his lightning speed, his body is only a little above average in terms of durability when it comes to direct force.
Field Experience: While Galvanize is strong and has practised his moves many times, he has very little experience actually in the fray of real life situations where he has had to think of teammates, civilians, callatatole damage, etc.
Issue #0/Testing Post: In the heart of the bustling New York City, where skyscrapers reach the heavens and the energy of urban life surges through the streets, a local diner that had become over the years a sanctuary for a young Cassius Munroe. With his charming smile, playful demeanor, and a secret identity known only to the closest friends, Cassius was the epitome of a carefree adolescence. Today was supposed to be just another day of ordinary fun with his college friends.
The diner was bathed in warm, golden light, and the smell of sizzling bacon and brewing coffee filled the air. As they entered Cassius exclaimed: “Order up peeps, this one’s on me, not like Barry brought any money with him anyways” he and his friends occupied their usual booth, laughing uproariously as they indulged in mouthwatering burgers and thick milkshakes.
His laughter was infectious, and it spread like wildfire through the tight-knit group. They talked about their upcoming exams, weekend plans, and inside jokes only they could understand.
Outside, however, chaos erupted suddenly. A supervillain, known as Typhoid Mary, known for her destructive prowess, had decided to unleash her malevolent tendencies upon the city. The street was a battleground, with Mary wreaking havoc, and as quickly as she came, so did the cavalry, as several seasoned superheroes appeared to thwart her sinister plans.

As the commotion outside escalated, Cassius's friends couldn't help but stare in awe at the epic confrontation unfolding before them. The blinding flashes of energy, the thunderous crashes, and the distant cries for help painted a vivid picture of the superhero world's constant turmoil.
But Cassius, though capable of extraordinary feats, was different. He had a burning desire to leave his superhero persona behind for the majority of his day and simply revel in the joys of his youth. He had never had the push nor drive to jump into the fray, and the constant pressure to save the day, and the never-ending cycle of heroics, was never something that attractive to him. He longed for a sense of normalcy and the ability to savor the simple pleasures of life.
One of his friends exchanged glances, torn between their admiration for Cassius's heroic alter ego and their understanding of his desire for peace. He knew that Cassius was one of the city's brightest beacons of potential, but they also recognized that he was just a young adult who deserved a break from the relentless drama that accompanied his dual life.

In the end, Cassius decided to remain at the diner, where laughter, friendship, and the simple pleasures of life were a respite from the chaos outside. He knew that the world would always call upon him to be a hero, but for now, he just wanted to be a kid, relishing a moment of tranquility amidst the storm of superheroic duty, as it came into an inevitable stop as Typhoid Mary was stopped in her tracks after an intense battle, luckily no one was hurt, but there was still a coiling knot in Cassius’ chest, as he whispers to himself: “Sorry ma…”.
💞 Ororo Munroe (Storm) & Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler) 💞 A loving mother and father, both with a full-time job of saving the world from constant peril, results in many nights that Cassius is found eating alone in his room. His resentment towards his parents is closely matched by his love and admiration for them, for being a child of these two great mutants, comes with the heavy burden, of both wanting to make them proud and to also find his own footing in the world. Whilst Storm has always wanted to shape her son into becoming her eventual replacement, Nightcrawler wanted a safer and more controllable environment, away from the dangers of being a superhero. With constant debate between the 2 of them, Cassius always found himself split between two worlds that almost never managed to coexist. 💕💜 Jason Lee 💜💕 Amongst the sea of friends that Cassius has made, there are only a few that he truly trusts, and even amongst them, Jason is a diamond in the rough. From middle school to college, they were always there for each other. Both majoring in Astrophysics, their rivalry and good sportsmanship have sparked a brotherhood so fruitful, that Jason is the only one amongst all of Cassius' friends to actually know his secret identity. 🎆 Thor 🎆 The Son of Asgard itself, weaving of thunder and lightning, is a man so strong that he basically does as he pleases. Cheerful and carefree, Cassius relates to Thor a lot, down to the point of him not being up to his more demanding parent, ever since being able to spark his first tiny bolts, he has always looked up in admiration to the god of lightning as a shining role model and hero. 👹 Thanos 👹 Having robbed him of his parents for so many years, and turning the world into a festering pool of crime that to this day it has yet to recover, Cassius holds a special turmoil and detestation towards the mad titan, as per the mere mention of his name sets Cassius off his rails, wanting nothing but to grasp the chance to deck the madman right across his distinctively weird creased chin.
Updates are looking good! Especially the history addition. Only thing I'd ask is....Maybe don't make him sound like that big of a deal, joining in to face the villains of New York? As-is it makes it sound like he single-handedly changed the tides of things like some legendary hero, which he simply isn't, and if he felt like that, he'd overshadow a lot of the other students in the academy. In other words, you don't need to sell him so hard; the fact he stepped in at all is respectable and inspiring, he hardly needs to be the sole reason the Big Apple got order restored prior to The Snap being undone xD
Also, while not necessary, I'll bring it up since it involves his History; it might be nice to have a bit explaining how things went for him after The Snap was undone and things were brought back to 'relative' normalcy, and how he might've ended up being roped into the Academy situation. Might involve his parents, or it might just involve some heroes who saw what he'd done for people in that five-year gap. Up to you!

Eleanora holds a rather dainty, yet notably athletic figure, and stands rather tall at 5'10. Her eyes are a vibrant shade of emerald green, which contrasts notably with her bright pink hair, which is...Strangely sticky to the touch. Speaking of her hair, while it seems she rarely styles it (for personal reasons), allowing it to cascade down her person, reaching well past her thighs, on the occasions she does attempt to wrangle it is, she prefers either ponytails or twin pigtails.
When it comes to clothing, Elly likes to expose herself; barring wintry weather conditions, you'll rarely see her fully covered up beyond the flowy dress of Sickly Sweet. Crop tops and skirts are her best friends, and when she's wearing less naturally exposing wear, she'll find ways to make it so, whether that be cutting up perfectly good tees or wearing low-rise jeans to show off a whale tail. And when it comes to the parties that she commonly finds herself in? Somehow, she'll manage to wear even less, but that's better left uncommented on...
For Sickly Sweet, however, this exposing nature seems subdued; maybe because this is clothing she'll actually be fighting in, or maybe just as an inside joke towards all the otherwise revealing clothes some superheroes wear. Regardless, her 'costume', as it were, looks on the surface to be a beautiful corset dress, sporting a combination of white, pink, and blues, complete with a pair of sturdy-looking deep pink heels, a large heart-shaped pendant of sorts that lays over her chest, and lastly, a bejeweled tiara that sparkles with all the multi-faceted stones that adorn it. However...Well, we can leave the secret behind it for later. Personality: Elly is quite the character, to say the least; unsurprising, once you know her life, but it doesn't make it any less of a jarring experience to know the woman. Most times, the words that would jump most to you on first interaction are charismatic, confident, and commanding. Whenever she's in a room, she has a way of turning herself into the center of it, and she uses this presence to great effect, naturally taking a leader position in anything she ends up in through her force of will and sheer bossiness at times. However, in spite of all these aspects pointing to her being an admirable leader, it's her other aspects that wound her potential here.
Eleanora is largely driven by her emotions, a fact that only got worse after the incident that granted her her abilities. As such, she tends to function poorly when put under pressure; a common occurrence as a leader, in most circumstances. She also simply can't be bothered to think about most things for long, which means she rarely comes up with plans, and when she does, they are loose at best, though at the very least she's good at thinking on her toes in the heat of a moment, just...Not when it involves having to manage other people. The process that changed Elly also did more than cause her emotions to rise to the surface; it also generally made her more unstable. She's prone to fits of irrational emotional outbursts, especially when under duress, and though she is aware of the problem, and does her best to keep herself in check, it rarely works.
Still, being driven by emotions does have one positive; it makes her a very clear person, who leads with her heart. While she's actually rather good at lying her pants off or otherwise being indirect, she prefers the forward approach greatly, and is quite blunt with most people she meets. Additionally, while the circle of people she trusts is quite shallow, Eleanora is extremely defensive of them and will do everything in her power to keep them safe, as she craves that social standing she once had as a normal person so long ago. Even if it isn't exactly the same, she'll keep them close however she can manage. And on a minor note, well...Due to any number of reasons, she's hyper-energetic quite often, which leads to her being very exaggerating in her movements, and talks about as much with her body as she does with her voice. History: Eleanora actually liked thinking about the past; at least, the pretty far back stuff. Her childhood was about as perfect as she could've asked, at least in her eyes. Parents that didn't mind the touch of mischief now and again, a sweet and protective older sister to watch out for her when she really overstepped the boundaries, and friends coming to her like flies to honey. She even made a best friend she carried throughout all her school life, Fionna Martin. In a lot of ways back then, Fi was closer to Elly's sister than herself; reserved and smart, but hopeless in social interactions. In that way, the two made up for each other, with Eleanora helping the young girl have an actual life beyond school, whereas Fionna made sure Elly didn't drop her classwork too hard. Being around Elly, who at that age was very inquisitive and adventurous, also ignited a similar spirit in her close friend, causing her to grow into an outgoing (if still quite awkward) individual, just as adventurous and only slightly less courageous than Eleanora herself.
Of course, her sister, Eden, was a big part of things as well, and back then she'd always find reasons to rope her in. Elly loved her sister to bits, and even if she seemed quite self-reliant, she always fell back to her sister in any times of need. The pair made for a dynamic duo, with one rarely being seen without the other. As they grew up, however, Eleanora found the dynamics shifting. Soon, her sister's smarts earned her less praise, and more ire, from would-be fellow classmates, causing her to close in on herself more and more. Before long, it was Elly who was defending her sister from those who were all too willing to shove around her quiet and shy elder sibling. Still, as she grew, she felt herself distancing from her dear sister. Their dreams and desires were distant, with Eden going deep into her academia, whereas Elly was still her usual, nonchalant self, happy to keep her own flow, as long as she found the time to keep her social circle and muck about where she pleased.
Entering into Middle School was a strange time for Eleanora. Her sister was more distant than ever before, being away from the house more and more consistently as she learned more about the field of profession she wished to pursue. It felt like...Like Elly was still just a kid, but her sister had become an adult before she'd even realized. This was eventually punctuated when Eden graduated extremely early from High School, before Elly had even gotten there, still being a middle schooler. Before she knew it, her sister, her rock, left her behind...But what got her the most was her parents. It was something she'd never really thought about; before now, she always had her sister's attention, and at school, she was practically the star of the show (beyond her sub-par grades). But now...? She could tell. Even if they acted sweet and aloof, they were worried about Eden, and barely paid mind to Elly at all. At first, she tried to fill the void. Eleanora took up many extracurriculars, from ballet to viola and everything in between. She should've been showered in praise, with all the things she was balancing! But no, they could only offer their half-hearted praise and brief nods of acknowledgement. Slowly, Elly started to hate her parents, her sister...
And herself.
Realizing nothing would change their minds, and knowing her sister was so utterly far beyond her reach, Elly stopped trying to be what she wasn't. If she was going to be given complete free rein without a care in the world, she'd stretch that for all it was damn worth. In essence, she became a delinquent, skipping school, loitering around, getting into fights, and even stealing from corner stores from time to time. Still, if she was a delinquent, she was a popular one. She had dozens of kids who flocked around her, enamored with her absolute confidence and rebellious nature, and even if she barely remembered their names, well...She liked having the little sycophants around. It made her feel larger. More powerful. Her old friend Fionna was still around as well, though she never changed as drastically as Eleanora had, and in fact several times kept her close friend in check as best she could, which was no small feat.
Growing older, Elly also grew bolder, as well. She'd throw parties when her parents left, skirt whatever flimsy curfew her parents set in place in favor of roaming the dangerous streets of New York at night, definitely try more than her share of alcoholic beverages, and she even smoked...Once. Honestly, even in her rebellious streak, that crap was just gross to her. Getting into High School, her social circle expanded even more. Most of them were nameless nobodies, but there were a few she gave a crap about. There was Fi, of course, her old reliable, and the only person she felt like she could really trust back then. Victor was there, too; a real down-in-the-dumps kinda guy, though she never knew why. She kinda just took him in because she liked the challenging prospect of making something out of the loser, as cruel as it was. There was Sylvia (or Sylvie, as she called her) as well. At face value, she looked like a typical braindead cheerleader blonde, but underneath that, Sylvie was the smartest person Elly had known since her sister left, and it filled a strange sort of void for her. Brian was a foreign exchange student from Latveria, which was more than enough reason for her to drag him into her circle. I mean, everyone heard crazy shit about that place, so how could she resist that temptation? Beyond that, though, he was a pretty chill guy in general. Ulysses was an off one for her, because he was simply so utterly...Tame. As dull as they came. Maybe it was a stupid reason for it, but that was enough to force him into this. Now, why did I bring up all these individuals?
Because tragedy would soon strike.
It was her sophomore year in High School, and a unique opportunity presented itself to her. A so-called 'nature retreat' where students would get the chance to take a field trip to a massive fjord over in Canada; it would be a two-day trip; one to get there and see the sights, and another for the return trip. Normally, she would've thought it was boring, but...The idea of leaving New York behind, if only for a bit, was exhilarating. Something practically compelled her to go. So, instead of getting her stupid parents' permission, Elly did the next natural conclusion; forge their handwriting and hand in the slip for the visit. In the end, she even convinced a large chunk of her 'friend group' (even if she barely knew most of them) to take the trip with her, including those mentioned previously. When they did arrive, however, Eleanora had found the thrills of a whole new country...Less than stellar. So, as always, she took things into her own hands. When the guides were distracted, she skulked off with her group, over 20 rambunctious and rebellious high-schoolers strong, and took their own tour of the fjord. What she couldn't have possibly anticipated was the group finding a hidden crevice in the fjord, with an unusual, starkly blue crystal standing imposingly on an ages-old pedestal.
Naturally, Eleanora was the first to approach, enthralled with the thrumming that seemed to emit from the strange crystalline structure. Cautiously, Fionna followed behind her close friend, and Sylvia went along as well. Victor, perhaps nervous of being left out, or eager to be involved in such a major find, surged forward to stand next to Elly as she examined the peculiar thing, leaving Brian and Ulysses awkwardly behind the bulk of the small group fitting into what looked to be some sort of chamber. It was man-made, or at least looked the part. While the others were looking around in confusion and awe, against her own better judgement and that of Fi's, Elly touched the crystal.
And all Hell broke loose.
At a touch, it almost seemed to react to her presence, the thrumming heard before could now be felt throughout the entire room, and in a blink, before she could make a reaction, it exploded, expelling a cobalt-blue mist that quickly flooded the chamber room, and even drifted upwards through the crevice they'd found, reaching the rest of their friends. Before long, all six students felt as if their bodies were seizing up, and around them formed glistening cocoons, as if they were caterpillars finally getting the chance to hatch. The experience was agonizing, and yet strangely peaceful, in a way Eleanora would never be able to explain. Like her entire self was being rewritten, or...No, more like some empty part of her she never knew she had was finally being scribed into existence, and she revolted against every moment of it. When the process ended, Eleanora tore out like a rabid beast, her mind flared up with confusion and anger. When she came to, she realized the others were still in those awful cocoons. Part of her wanted to tear them out and be done with it, but...No. She had to think this through. They needed help, and it wasn't the kind she could offer. So she hauled herself through the crack in the room, reaching where the rest of her nameless friends ought to be. They could at least...
When she found them, it was far too late. Each and every one of them, preserved in perfect, statuesque form, like someone perishing in a volcanic eruption, forever captured in their moments of agony. In that moment of sheer horror, she accidentally bumped into one of them as they miserably crumbled away...And somehow, even more concerningly for her, that selfsame pile of ash(?) soon turned into a stack of...Sprinkles? The ice beneath her, too...When she looked down, it had turned softer, and much whiter, and the place smelled distinctly of vanilla. This...This was too much. Way too much.
From below, Elly heard a voice. It was Fionna! Oh, thank God. She was asking for a hand to get out; apparently the crack they'd slipped through was a bit too small for her, which seemed ridiculous, but honestly, she'd take anything to get her mind away from whatever the HELL happened up here. Quickly, she reached her hand down to Fi, trying to pull her up, only for her bestie to yank her down back into the chamber with shocking force that neither of them had been prepared for. Luckily the iron-clad grip of her once-wimpy friend kept her from just checking into the solid floor now beneath her, but it still had the unfortunate result of dragging her back into the room, and just as things were getting interesting...
Sylvie popped out of her weird metamorphosis, and almost immediately her body turned into pure electricity. Well, that was different. While she was still recovering from that horrifying new experience, with the two girls doing their best to calm her down, someone different emerged; Brian. And-hey, wait, where the hell was Ulysse-Eleanora didn't have time to finish that thought, and would have to be extremely thankful of Fionna if they ever met again, since she shielded her bodily from what was to come. When Brian finally emerged, much like Sylvia, his powers turned on like a switch, and they were MUCH more explosive. A wave of plasma tore through the room, shattering walls and bringing down sheets of ice and stone upon the lot of them. In the panic, Elly vaguely made out the electric shape of Sylvia bolting her way towards the surface. Having taken the brunt of the punishment, Eleanora could tell that Fi had completely passed out (though she was just thankful she wasn't dead, honestly). Still, the worst was yet to come.
From the blast, poor Victor had been forcibly ripped from his cocoon prematurely, and whether that was the cause of what happened next, or his power would've always been like this, Elly couldn't possibly tell. What she could tell was after he crawled out from the wreckage of his little gross organic pod, he began convulsing, barfed out what looked like fucking tar, and it swallowed him up to make some horrifying shadow-thing that instantly lunged for Brian. With the two of them going at it, and an unconscious Fionna by her side, Eleanora panicked, and did the only thing she could think of...
She fled.
Using her new powers, she bore a tunnel to the surface by shifting ice into a flow of cola that consequently spilled out into the remains of the chamber, distracting the warring pair long enough for her to make her escape...Leaving Fionna behind. She didn't think she could fight them, or make them stop, or even survive if she did stick around. Everything in her head was telling her to run, and so she had. By the time she made it to the surface, perhaps instinctively at this point, she formed a mass of snow topside into a horrific mess of a creature...But it had wings. That was all she needed. She flew back to New York, and beyond a panicked letter sent off to her sister in some vain hope of her being able to fix things, Eleanora closed herself off from her old life, picking up an apartment and trying desperately to find out how to fix her life.
Flash forward about 2 years, and you make it to the now, where her sister had only a few months ago stumbled into her humble abode looking like an emaciated corpse (and kinda smelling like one too, honestly). The whole situation was insane, between her sister's condition, and all the shit she'd gotten roped into by Harold, but...Strangely, it kind of comforted her, to have something stable (if horribly chaotic) in her life again, after everything that had happened to her in the fjord. Maybe things were looking up...
Or maybe she was just about to reach her next fall. Powerset:
Inhuman Physiology - As an Inhuman (not that Eleanora's aware that is what she is), Elly now possesses a superhuman physique that is complimented by the fact that she was already originally a fairly fit person. She's strong enough to lift nearly 1000 lbs., run at over 40 MPH, and has increased tissue density (far from impervious, but it does mean she can get tossed and smashed around better than an average person, at least), though her most notable physical feat that was further improved was her flexibility and overall agility, as she can move in unprecedented ways with surprising speed and accuracy. Her new genetics also carry some downsides, but that can be tackled later.
Sucrose Creations- Whether by direct contact or by being in the general vicinity, Eleanora can convert non-living matter into a sugary substitute of any sort she can imagine. As long as it possesses at least a moderate level of sugar, she can molecularly shift things into them. This commonly takes the form of sweets, though she can also make many baked good or sugary beverages. The amount she can generate is directly correlated to the original source of the raw materials. The more to work with, the bigger things can go. She can also change individual pieces of things, such as turning a sword into a collection of jelly beans, or inversely, only turning a segment of a concrete wall into gingerbread. There are some notable limitations to this ability, which will be gotten into later.
Confectionary Creatures - When Elly creates things from non-living matter, she can choose to shape it into certain forms and imbue them with sapience; the ability to think and act of their own volitions. The lengths of which are largely untested by her, but she's made many animals with her abilities, and her greatest achievement with this ability thus far is her so-called 'Peppermint Butler', who seems to possess an intellect comparable to a human being, despite being the equivalent of a walking peppermint. These creations, at least thus far from her experiences, are subservient to her, and the ones she has made who can talk often refer to her as some kind of Goddess or queenly figure. It...Weirds her out.
Bubblegum Hair - A...Peculiar extension of her abilities, after awaking from Terrigenesis, Elly found that her normal red hair had been converted into a mass of bubblegum masquerading as such. At a glance, it can look just like real hair, but getting a closer look, or feeling it, it becomes extremely obvious, given that it is one solid mass and incredibly sticky, as if a wad of chewed gum became perfectly solid, yet somehow still rather fluid. She can mentally control the hair to some extent, but this is a shaky ability for her still. Also, it regenerates, which means it's pretty much impossible to maintain it correctly anymore, much to her dismay...
Equipment/Paraphernalia:
Heart Pendant: While the original copy of this item was destroyed in the incident that turned her into an Inhuman, she created a candy replica, being a literal sweet heart. When opened, it has a picture painstakingly recreated with sugary substitutes that shows a younger Elly (who used to have red hair), alongside her older sister Eden, embracing with a smile.
Sickly Sweet's Princess Attire: In spite of seeming like a gorgeous princess-like ensemble, upon closer inspection, everything about it is just a myriad of sweets. The dress itself? Just a mixture of uniquely solidified whipped cream and a candy floss, not unlike cotton candy. Her heels? Made of solid rock candy (which makes for a real bitch to be kicked by, by the way). And her crowning tiara? Actually a cookie cake covered in a pure silvery frosting, and bejeweled with shiny candy rock replicas of actual gemstones. God forbid she get hit by any water wearing this...
Velvet & Peppermint Butler: While calling them 'equipment' might be harsh, it's about where they fall. Velvet is Eleanora's personal ride; that being a giant chocolate bunny that has about the same intellect as one, beyond its unflinching loyalty to its creator and owner. While it is very cute, it's even useful beyond that, able to travel at about the speeds of a car and leap buildings in a single bound. Peppermint Butler, on the other hand, is the personal handservant she created for herself one night she got bored in her apartment. He serves loyally, cleaning up after her and keeping track of any arrangements she makes. While she'd never admit it, she also kinda used him as a free therapist for a while, with...Variable results.
Weaknesses:
Inhuman Physiology: While becoming Inhuman came with a lot of physical perks, it does have one downside; her body's immune system was drastically weakened, the same as most Inhumans, making her very vulnerable to diseases and infections. Luckily, due to her own abilities, she rarely catches normal illnesses, as most hostile germs and the like that enter her vicinity are instinctually turned into pure sugar. This does have the bizarre downside of her being almost constantly covered in a extremely thin layer of sugar crystals. Still, it means injected viruses and the like could prove severely dangerous for her health.
Sucrose Conversion Process: The particulars of her abilities are fascinating and odd in equal measure. For one, while she can alter things at a distance, the time it takes for her to effect objects is based primarily on proximity to her; the close the target, the quicker the effects, and direct contact can mean near-instantaneous conversions. However, it is also based on the materials in question. Anything less dense than stone or concrete don't take long at all, but the tougher and more dense a material is, the more effort she must exert and time she requires to make changes, meaning her powers are hard-pressed against super-alloys like Vibranium and Adamantium, to name a few. Additionally, while her changed creations can be lighter than their origins (and typically are), their density can...Fluctuate. The general rule of thumb is, at her own whims, she can make the sugary creations she generates either somewhat tougher or somewhat weaker than their source materials, and this is also dependent on exactly what sort of confection she makes the materials. For instance, if she took a slab of concrete and turned it into, say...A brownie shield, she could keep it just as tough as concrete, crank it up a few notches, or even make it weak enough she might be able to break through it herself. It all depends on her.
Water: Anyone could tell you that water doesn't play nice with sugar, as it dissolves it and breaks it apart evenly through the liquid. This is ultimately true of Sickly Sweet's creations as well, where most of them (especially less solid creations) are prone to completely falling apart at the contact of enough water. Also, when her hair gets wet, it becomes hard and heavy, enough so that it usually drags Elly down with it. Needless to say, she can't really swim anymore.
Irrational: While Eleanora does her best to keep herself under control, she is prone to bouts of extreme emotional outbursts, for better or worse. Having one of these breakdowns mid-fight is usually a really bad sign, for a number of reasons. While it could technically leave her vulnerable, it also tends to make her powers run haywire in the moment, which could lead to danger for everyone involved.
Attached: She'd never admit to it verbally, but she cares immensely about the people close to her, so much so that she prioritizes them over herself in many ways. Exploited correctly, this serves as a huge vulnerability to her. This extends doubly so to her sister, who she is very defensive about.
Issue #0/Testing Post: Pop.
Eleanora couldn't help but have a permanent frown attached to her face. Here she was, strolling her way through Chinatown...On business. Eugh. Still, she couldn't deny that it paid the bills, and more importantly, wasn't quite as illegal as most of the rest of her dealings had become. Honestly, though, she would've pushed this job onto her sister if she could trust her freakish metabolism to not eat the merchandise. Which, admittedly, didn't seem like a fair assessment when she herself casually dug her hand into the large box she was hauling and pulled out a pack of Hawthorn candy, casually chucking them into her mouth, packaging and all. Much to the confusion and concern of passersby that she really couldn't be bothered with. The wrapper was candy too, of course; courtesy of her special gift. Though, admittedly, that was also because she couldn't be bothered to buy actual packaging.
Pop.
She gnawed on the sweet pink bubblegum as she turned the corner to Elizabeth Street. In a matter of moments, she was there; Madam Goya's Confections. Seeing it brought a smile back to her face. Even if it did involve work, she always loved this place. Elly and her sister had come here tons before to snack on sweet foreign treats...Thinking about the past brought her frown back, however. She made a quick turn onto the narrow alleyway next to the store, making it to the back entrance. 'Employees Only', it read. She was basically one, even if unofficially. Freeing up a hand while still somehow carrying the huge crate of candied goods with the other, she gave the door a few raps.
Tap. Taptaptap. Taptap.
Pop.
Well, the pop wasn't apart of the code knock, but that wasn't important. Speaking of the pop, the taste was starting to die down. Spitting the surprisingly large wad of gum onto the ill-kept streets, Eleanora casually tore a small bit of her hair off, popping it into her mouth. A year or so back and she would've never even thought to done this, but she's well and truly passed the grace period on the weirdness of her ability.

That got a hard squint from Eleanora. Madam Goya never asked her to come in before; she'd open the way herself and bring her inside. Something was wrong. With mounting suspicion, she gave a passing inspection of the alleyway for anything useful. Hmm...There was a loose shoelace. Yeah, that might work. Kneeling down to scoop it up, Elly briefly closed her eyes and worked her magic.
Pop.
"Wow! Is this what being alive is like? This is amazing! I can see things! I couldn't see things befo-!" "Sweet fuck, shut up! I'm trying to be stealthy, alright?" In her hands, Eleanora now held what looked to be a gummy worm, a clean split of red and green hues across its small body, with the most unusual features being its mouth and googly-looking eyes. Oh, and the fact that it could talk. "Oh! I'm sorry! Why are we whispering?" Her latest affront to God smiled up at her, like a child waiting to be told what to do by a parent. Elly groaned. Dealing with these things was always exhausting. Putting up a very forced smile, she leaned in extra-close to the worm and spoke softly. "You're fine. Listen, I need you to crawl under this doorframe, and if you see anyone who isn't a sweet little Chinese lady, you shimmy your way back out and tell me. You can do that, right?" "Oh! Okay! I can do that for you, Miss!" Miss? That was new. But better than being thought of as some weird royalty or deity. Nodding alongside her gummy creation, she gently knelt by the door and allowed her new companion to worm their way into the shop proper.
Pop.
"Why isn't she entering yet? Did you warn her, somehow?" Eleanora's suspicions were all too true. Two well-armed gunmen were present in the store, one holding the proprietor hostage under gunpoint while the other had their sights lined up perfectly to the door, ready to mow down the poor girl meant to blindly walk through there. Their conspiratorial muttering was answered with a steady tone by Madam Goya; she'd seen much and been through even more in her years in Chinatown. Something like this didn't shake her. "I would normally invite her in myself. She's a smart girl. She suspects something." A 'tsk' came from the hostage-taker, who pressed the barrel of his rifle against the older woman harshly. "Then get her to drop her guard. She can't suspect anything. If she does..." While Madam Goya recoiled a bit from the jostling, she saw it on her pristine floors; a worm. Or rather...A knowing smile crossed her face. She could play along; these men had already well and truly lost their element of surprise. "My hands are a bit full at the moment, dear. You can come in when you're ready."
Pop.
Even without her very edible spy, that new statement spoke volumes to her. Had her hands full, her ass. Eleanora knew this place wasn't half as popular as it used to be when she was a kid. What on Earth would she be busy dealing with? Part of her wanted to just jump in, metaphorical guns blazing, but she took a deep breath. Madam Goya'd never forgive her if she pulled something like that and nothing was actually happening. So she patiently waited, and was rewarded when her little worm slid its way back out. She was quick to scoop them up, leaning in to hear their miniscule voice. "Well? How are things?" "Oh! There are a few big people with big guns in there! Wearing body armor, too! They're scary!" Pleased with a job well done, she gave a big smile. "Good! Now, would you like your reward?" "Oh! A reward! That's soun-" It would never get to finish its sentence as Eleanora unceremoniously shoved the sentient creature into her mouth, grinding it down quickly to ensure not even a squeak escaped it. She didn't have time to babysit a stupid fucking gummy worm right now; she had a job to do.
Pop.
What the gunmen next saw, if they hadn't been already briefed before, would've shaken them to their core. The backdoor that one of them was lined up to light up abruptly shifted and morphed into something entirely different, as a knightly figure, complete with sword and shield, stood where the door once had and lunged for the leading gunman. The thing was entirely made out of plum candy, but it was still deceptively durable. The gunman unloaded into the construct, and while the bullets broke through, they didn't fully penetrate, nor did they slow the knight down. With nothing internal to actually damage and kill it through, only complete destruction would suffice. Something they didn't have the luxury of. The plum guardian slammed its shield hard into the gunman's face, breaking his mask (and likely much more) with a sickening crunch, causing him to instantly hit the ground. Whatever preparations they might have made beforehand were quickly dissolving, as the remaining assailant booked it to the open hole where the door had once stood. Either he'd find nothing and make a getaway, or he'd find the girl and complete the mission.
Pop.
"Whatcha doin'?"
The gunman whipped around, rifle facing the voice, and instantly squeezed the trigger, only...Nothing came out. He gave it a few more frantic clicks, but nothing happened, as Elly casually reached forward, grabbing the barrel of the gun as it quickly changed from a violent weapon into a scattering of good luck candies, and with it, the evidence of what had occurred; where the chamber for all his bullets should've been, as it became nothing but sweets, spilled out with root beer instead of lead. Still, he wasn't finished yet. With a roar, the man lunged for her; he was bigger, stronger, and certainly more well-trained. He had to have the advantage here, even in these circumstances. Unfortunately for him, one of those statements was false.

CRACK.
Eleanora caught the man with a wicked kick straight to his head mid-dive, tumbling him to the side of the narrow alleyway, his helmet cracked and a faint trickle of blood visible. She grinned with glee, perhaps a bit too happy with herself over the violent act. Confident that the situation was handled, she snapped her fingers. "Hey, plum knight thing. Grab the other mook and throw him out with the rest of the garbage." Her knight nodded, easily heaving up the unconscious man. Though, as the two passed each other, she gave the creature an unsubtle beheading motion, to which it merely nodded. Elly wasn't a fan of loose ends.
Pop.
While she didn't get super emotional, Eleanora's eyes were alight with concern as she walked her way into the store proper, goods in hand. "...You alright? They didn't actually do anything, did they?" "Nothing I can't handle. I'm just thankful you didn't make a mess of...The whole place, at least." Madam Goya's beady eyes looked right past Elly to the vacant doorway. She took in a sharp breath. "...Yeah, not my greatest job. I can, uh...Replace it, if you're fine with a cake look-alike? Until you can get a new one?" The proprietor rolled her eyes, but it was clear she didn't actually think too much of it. "Here. Payment for today's shipment." The old lady was quicker on her feet than you'd expect, as she'd hastily darted up to Eleanora's side, a clean stack of bills in her hand. She took it, of course. Sure, she felt bad about what had happened, but she wasn't gonna let that mean she didn't get paid. However, the lady of the store wagged a finger in mock threat to the younger girl. "But! The next time you bring trouble here, I'm expecting a free delivery!" Elly snorted, but nodded along. "Alright, alright. You got it, Auntie Goya. If a bunch of shady mercenaries come busting your doors down again, I'll be sure to bury you in a candy avalanche. Free of charge!" The both of them laughed, and with the ridiculous and life-threatening exchange finished, Madam Goya took the delivery off to sort, while Elly went back to the alley, now with a new metallic smell to it.

"Clean job. No clue who these jokers are, though...They might be his. Definitely aren't those ninja bastards, at least. Ugh!" Elly groaned at her predicament. So someone in the criminal network wanted her iced. The hell did she do to them? Fucking bullshit...Shaking her head, she observed the two bodies before her, as if mentally judging something. She took a glance back. Madam Goya wasn't there anymore. "Hmm...Yeah, I think one of these'll do for a door. Wait, shit, I should call Eden, make sure she knows I'm off-schedule cuz of this crap." Annoyed, while she left setting up the grotesque framework to her plum companion, Elly whipped out her cellphone, starting to make a quick call to her sister. Until...
Pop.
"FUCK!" Eleanora shouted in outrage, her face now covered in her own bubblegum, as she held was used to be a phone in her hands, now nothing but a strawberry pop tart.
I love my sis to bits, but...A lot's happened since we were last together, and without even getting into the whole 'I mutated myself into a monster' bit, there's always been a few things that rubbed me the wrong way...But I won't leave her. She's dangerous, sure, but I'm more concerned how she may hurt herself with how she's going, and I won't let that happen. We'll protect each other and face whatever the future holds. Together.

Okay, gonna preface this; Harold is fucking weird. No one in their right mind takes up being a costume-wearing nutcase as a way of paying respect to their deadbeat dad who did the same crap (if he asks, I never said any of that). Yet, that's what he does. Mad respect. You've gotta be crazy to do something this ridiculous, and here he is! I've known him for over a year, after I picked him up off the street after he got jumped by ninjas (his words, not mine). He kinda accidentally dragged me into his sphere of criminal influence, but honestly? Took to it like a duck to water. Been helping him here and then ever since, and we eventually developed this ragamuffin team we have now! I'm still the boss though. He's like...A Co-manager. But a cool one! Not like every actual manager out there.
Doing this since you two are the big WIPs that I'm largely unsure of how progress is going, so I thought I'd ask directly; how are things? This especially goes to Ezekiel, since I noticed a few days back that your sheet does have a testing post now, but it still says on the post that you're working on it. It'd be 4 for me, personally. I just dig the idea of a literally person-powered death robot xD
Plus it just has a bunch of cool in-world things going on between Extremis and the mysterious scientist who got hired on. Hell, if you wanna add another layer of intrigue, this could even be a project by Justin Hammer; seems up his alley, given the human testing and poorly tested war machine lmao, and it fits even moreso given it was originally designed to become a contestant to the Iron Man armor, and there are few people on Planet Earth who hate Stark more than Hammer.
You know, for not making the list, I think #4 sounds pretty damn awesome; child soldier powered by an illicit and volatile super-drug that turned him into a living weapon, and the ideal pilot/battery for a suit so precarious in its make that it has killed all other would-be pilots, or severely injured/disabled them. Plus this 'generic German scientist' could be a bigger deal, like perhaps the infamous Arnim Zola in HYDRA. Those guys have a way of weaseling into every little crevice they can find...
So tbh, especially given our overall lack of techheads thus far, I'm actually super game for #4! But after some more thorough explanation on #1, I actually lean towards it closer than #3 if 4 is off the menu.
